Dr. Angell doesn't care about making money off of you. She cares about your aesthetic goals, and the best way for you to achieve them, even if it would mean a loss for her. I went in initially for a lip flip and forehead Botox, and she essentially said she could do it, but I'd get the best results from a lip lift, which is surgical and permanent. Every other clinic I went to told me that I'd need 4-8 units for the flip and 1.5-2 vials of filler to get the results I wanted, which is just an obvious cash grab. Dr. Angell and her staff actually listened to me, understood what I wanted, and didn't try to oversell me on anything. That was enough to cement that this is the place for me. There are so many other reasons to love this place. The decor is tasteful, it's always clean, the staff is SO nice, and my results are always perfect. I've had issues with Botox migrating in the past, and that has NEVER happened here. I've also never even bruised, even when I decided to dabble in lip filler. It also doesn't feel like you're in a sterile doctor's office (even though you technically are in a doctor's office), and I feel like I'm just talking to my friends. The last thing I'll touch on is my incredibly horrible needle fear. I know it's strange to get injectables when you have a full-blown panic attack getting your flu shot, but I'll tell you, these people take CARE of you. My first appointment, I was literally sweating, crying, and on the edge of passing out, but they literally held my hand throughout and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I know it seems silly, but I've never felt more supported in a medical setting. The laughing gas doesn't hurt either, but I'm so comfortable there now, I don't even need it and don't cry! So, it's a little bit of exposure therapy tossed in as a freebie! I know this is long, but I could seriously go on forever about how amazing this place is. If you try it out, you will end up with amazing NATURAL results. I'll close it off with a story. I seriously won a bet at a dinner party when a gal who was talking about celebrities with cosmetic enhancements said, "Everyone who gets stuff done is so obvious. I can tell immediately." I mentioned that work is only obvious when it's bad, but good work is something you'd never notice. I bet her that she couldn't tell who had gotten anything done at the table. Instead of a phone call or any meaningful discussion, I received a brief message stating: "Thank you for sending your photos. They have been documented and reviewed. No further action is necessary." There was no explanation, no in-person evaluation, no follow-up care offered, and no attempt to address my concerns or provide support after a cosmetic procedure I paid for. Regardless of outcome, patients deserve to be heard, taken seriously, treated with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage anyone considering RF microneedling or other procedures to carefully consider the level of post-treatment care and support they may receive. PLEASE BEWARE! I left this appointment shaken, upset, and…read morehonestly shocked at the level of unprofessionalism. I purchased a Groupon for three IPL sessions. My first visit with the owner was good-very rushed though. My second visit was a completely different story. The nurse was actively training someone during my appointment--something I was never informed of or consented to. I did not agree to have a trainee involved in a laser treatment on my face. I clearly disclosed that I have tattooed eyebrows and lips. Everything seemed fine until I felt a sharp, intense pain above my eyebrow and smelled hair burning. I was told it was just "baby hairs." Minutes later, I felt even worse pain at my temple and again smelled burning hair. Once again, I was reassured it was normal. It was not. A visible section of hair at my temple had been burned off. When I touched it, the hair fell out. I also had missing eyebrow hair. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the nurse immediately tried to minimize the situation, telling me this "happens all the time." That is extremely concerning--and completely unacceptable. I've had IPL treatments for years and have NEVER experienced anything like this. She attempted to cover the bald spot with my hair and told me not to worry because it would grow back. I remained calm (no Karen behavior) and asked what could be done, she repeatedly mentioned the waiver I signed and offered a free session (which I declined--why would I trust them again?). When I asked for a manager, I was told she was the manager, yet she showed zero accountability or real concern. To make matters worse, I overheard the trainee call me "a little dramatic," and the trainer agreed. When I calmly addressed hearing it, she denied it outright and then told me to stay out of the back before shutting the door in my face. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect here is unbelievable. This was not a minor mishap--it was negligence during a cosmetic procedure. I am now dealing with a burned scalp, visible hair loss, and eyebrow damage. Proceed with extreme caution. Edit: 2 hours later, my eyebrow is a full on blister which might need a dermatological appointment from where she hit the tattooed eyebrow, and now that I've washed the bald spot, it's far more obvious that hair is missing
