I've been seeing Dr. Angell for years at this point, so clearly I'm all in on this place. I'll shopped around a lot before settling on trying out this clinic, and it was the only place that made me feel comfortable and like I wasn't about to be taken for a ride. Dr. Angell doesn't care about making money off of you. She cares about your aesthetic goals, and the best way for you to achieve them, even if it would mean a loss for her. I went in initially for a lip flip and forehead Botox, and she essentially said she could do it, but I'd get the best results from a lip lift, which is surgical and permanent. Every other clinic I went to told me that I'd need 4-8 units for the flip and 1.5-2 vials of filler to get the results I wanted, which is just an obvious cash grab. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dr. Angell and her staff actually listened to me, understood what I wanted, and didn't try to oversell me on anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That was enough to cement that this is the place for me. There are so many other reasons to love this place. The decor is tasteful, it's always clean, the staff is SO nice, and my results are always perfect. I've had issues with Botox migrating in the past, and that has NEVER happened here. I've also never even bruised, even when I decided to dabble in lip filler. It also doesn't feel like you're in a sterile doctor's office (even though you technically are in a doctor's office), and I feel like I'm just talking to my friends. The last thing I'll touch on is my incredibly horrible needle fear. I know it's strange to get injectables when you have a full-blown panic attack getting your flu shot, but I'll tell you, these people take CARE of you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My first appointment, I was literally sweating, crying, and on the edge of passing out, but they literally held my hand throughout and made sure I was as comfortable as possible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I know it seems silly, but I've never felt more supported in a medical setting. The laughing gas doesn't hurt either, but I'm so comfortable there now, I don't even need it and don't cry! So, it's a little bit of exposure therapy tossed in as a freebie! I know this is long, but I could seriously go on forever about how amazing this place is. If you try it out, you will end up with amazing NATURAL results. I'll close it off with a story. I seriously won a bet at a dinner party when a gal who was talking about celebrities with cosmetic enhancements said, "Everyone who gets stuff done is so obvious. I can tell immediately." I mentioned that work is only obvious when it's bad, but good work is something you'd never notice. I bet her that she couldn't tell who had gotten anything done at the table. She guessed the people with obvious work, but I wasn't on her list. She said, "You just look young because you have great skin." I literally had to show her my receipts to prove it. Horrible. Avoid at all costs... they ruined my face and my eyes are extremely hallow now.. I had RF microneedling done here and experienced concerning changes to my face afterward. I sent the photos as requested and never received a call back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After waiting, I followed up myself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instead of a phone call or any meaningful discussion, I received a brief message stating: "Thank you for sending your photos. They have been documented and reviewed. No further action is necessary."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was no explanation, no in-person evaluation, no follow-up care offered, and no attempt to address my concerns or provide support after a cosmetic procedure I paid for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Regardless of outcome, patients deserve to be heard, taken seriously, treated with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would strongly encourage anyone considering RF microneedling or other procedures to carefully consider the level of post-treatment care and support they may receive. Hands down the most detail oriented and thorough medical spa I have ever gone to -- these ladies really go far above the industry standard. I've been seen by all three injectors for my botox: Nurse Katie, Nurse Alexa, and Dr. Angell, and my results are amazing every time. While I usually see Nurse Katie, they take such detailed notes and photos of my exact injection spots that even if i need to reschedule last minute and they squeeze me in with a different injector I know i'm going to get the same great results. I've come here periodically. Dr Angell has done a great job dissolving filler for me several times (the filler was not done at this spa). Also, one of her nurses (I think nurse Katie?) did a fantastic job with Vbeam on me. I noticed a 50% improvement in my baseline redness, and flushing. I do wish they offered PRF instead of PRP (I get better results with PRF). They have saved me thousands of dollars by recommending a $40 pigment cream for my sun spots, when I had previously attempted 4-5 BBL sessions elsewhere which hurt my wallet and gave either no improvement or very temporary results despite OCD sunscreen and hat use. It is headed by an MD, Dr. Angell, which is a key consideration for me -- that RNs, MAs, aestheticians work under an MD's supervision and guidance. I did my initial consult and treatment with Katie Buckner and an MA and they were very thorough - documenting with pictures and markings pre, during and post treatment and giving enough time for us to discuss my history, my concerns, their assessment and recommendations - through it all, taking into consideration my level of comfort with their proposed care and treatment. They were highly professional and skilled but at the same time friendly, engaging. I appreciated that they started my treatment conservatively, with room to tweak along the way. Turns out I was satisfied already with the first round of injections, with no need to adjust or to correct. The clinic is bright and neat. The front office personnel were efficient and personable. Wow, I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Angell Medical Spa! Upon arrival I was greeted by 3 bright eyed gals with huge smiles on their faces. It's so rare to see people happy in their workplace! They were attentive, handed me a disinfected iPad to fill out the intake paperwork- it was easy to understand, read, and fast to fill out. Once taken to my treatment room I had some one on one time with a gal who asked me in-depth questions about my skin care routine & chatted about realistic outcomes of my chosen treatment options. Not only was she kind & attentive then Starla my nurse came in- she had the best personality we seriously laughed so much & chatted about everything under the sun. I decided to go with Botox treatment on my brow lines + forehead. I stashed about $500+ for this treatment but it was barely $300! I was shocked. An assistant of Starla's helped sign me up for a discount program through Dysport, the other option very similar to Botox. I saved a good amount of money because she took the time to sign me up & i'm super grateful. I made my follow up appointment in June because of how kind, genuinely happy & not pushy the entire staff was + the results were amazing! I come here for hydrafacials every 6 weeks. The service is wonderful, and they are very flexible. I also love that it's a quick procedure and my skin looks way more awesome compared to results from a regular hour-long facial. I don't wear makeup anymore because I only rarely break out. Every now and then I get cystic acne, and previous hydrafacials couldn't stop it. I came to this place when a cyst was forming and the facial stopped it in its tracks! After watching what feels like endless YouTube videos, I was determined to into the med spa to get 50ccs put on each side of my masseter for a slimmer face. I've hated my chubby cheeks that I've always had since childhood. I lost a significant amount of weight in this last year but the chubby cheeks didn't budge. Her office was pristine and her staff are so sweet and kind. After my consultation with Dr Angell, she advised that she felt like I only needed 12ccs (what?!) on each side of my massester but might want to consider 6ccs in my chin because I tuck in my chin when I talk or smile. It gives me the appearance of a shorter or chubbier face. I was skeptical. I saw all of these girls on Reddit and YouTube who have thinner faces than I do getting at least 25 on each side and it didn't make sense to me. How on earth was I going to get results? I'm so happy I trusted her. I feel like my face is longer and fits me so much better. I don't clench my jaw and give myself headaches anymore. Nurse Katie legit works magic!! The first pic is before going to nurse Katie, the second pick is two weeks after my first appointment, the third pick is a week after my second appointment. My eyebrows used to be so asymmetrical, and with just two appointments with nurse Katie my eyebrows are now symmetrical. She also helped my eyelids in general, my right eyelid was more hooded compared to my left eyelid due to the eyebrow muscle being overactive on my left eyebrow.
