I arrived at 6:00 PM and requested a chrome French tip with a flame design and overlay tips. The technician agreed, but after multiple failed attempts (including spending 20 minutes trying to do one flame), I had to settle for a much simpler design because it was clear she could not deliver what was promised. The pedicure portion didn't even begin until after 8:00 PM and then felt completely rushed since the salon was already closed. For the price I paid, rushed and subpar work is unacceptable. To make matters worse, my big toe was done incorrectly, and instead of fixing it during my appointment, I was told to come back another day. No client paying this amount should have to return to fix a mistake that should have been corrected on the spot. I contacted the salon to resolve the issue, and instead of taking accountability, the manager (Helen) argued with me on the phone for over 10 minutes and refused to offer any type of refund or reasonable resolution. This experience showed a lack of skill, poor time management, and unprofessional customer service from both staff and management. Before coming to this location, I would always be in so much pain from waxes, and even bleed. I have never had those issues with Amalia. And extra bonus points because of how personable she is. As far as the front counter staff, everyone is always incredibly nice, but Rachael always goes above and beyond. She takes customer service really seriously and she's always a welcoming face whenever I come in.
