Sam did the best job ever on my haircut the last time I had a haircut was a year and a half ago so my hair was really long and damaged. My hair is really thick and hard to manage, so she gave me subtle layers and face framed the front and styled it for me, and it looks so lovely. Post- wedding update: I would highly recommend Beyond Blessed Salon for day of and bridal portrait hair and make up. Logistically, the team of stylists could not have been more professional or efficient. Everything happened on time. Pricing absolutely reasonable for the final product! The additional staff made sure our catered food and drinks were arranged and even took care of clean up, and were just a lovely presence for my big day. Ali, Saryn, and DeAnn were able to style short hair, long hair, curly hair, and straight hair. This was the first time some of my bridal party, my mother, and my mother in law had their hair and make up done and their experience was beyond amazing. The hair styles and makeup stayed in place for an outdoor early April wedding. The highlights Ali did a few weeks before looked absolutely stunning in my up-do. I was in a pinch before family pictures so decided to bring my 5 year old here for a haircut. We had come a couple years ago and the haircut cost about $35, which I figured was okay, especially if it was a great cut for our pictures! When we walked in the woman at the front (seemed like a manager maybe?) was cold and unfriendly and I immediately got an unwelcome vibe from her, which made the waiting time at the front pretty uncomfortable. Thankfully once we were able to sit in the chair, the stylist was very sweet and engaging. The haircut wasn't the best, but it was fine enough so when we went to check out and the front desk woman (same woman as before) told me it would be $70, I about fell over. I asked her about the pricing and said I only had paid $35 last time and she coldly replied, "Ya, well once they hit 5 years old it goes up to this price." Now how is it possible that the price doubles once they hit 5, not to mention a toddler is squirmy and moving all around, whereas the stylist kept making comments the entire time how amazing my 5 year old was doing and how still he was the entire time?! Interestingly enough, I heard the stylist and woman talking as I was walking up and it sounded like the stylist was telling the front desk woman/manager that she didn't need to charge as much, but then just said, "Okay, well whatever you think" and walked away. From what it looked like, the stylist was even saying that it was too much for this haircut and the woman ignored her and decided to just squeeze out as much money out as possible (not smart, this is how you lose customers). The rest of the exchange with the front desk woman was so unfriendly and uncomfortable and I honestly couldn't wait to get out of there. So for an insanely priced $80 (with tip), we got a mediocre haircut that we ended up having to have fixed and and super uncomfortable experience from the staff. The shining light was how sweet the stylist was, but I would absolutely never recommend anyone come back here, for a kids cut or honestly probably anything else from a business that clearly feels okay about price gouging it's young families. P.S. I called a couple amazing stylist friends afterwards to see if I was off base about the pricing and they were super shocked at how much the price was as well! And then one of them came over to check out the haircut and ended up offering to fix it to make it look better (if that tells you anything about the quality of the haircut in the first place)..... read more

Their hair products are fabulous, I'm slowly trying to switch over to all of their products. Now when it came to my hair cut and balayage, I was stunned! I was looking for a place to take my mom to have her hair done. Her stylist of over 20 years recently retired. I randomly made a call on Monday afternoon and they were able to take us Tuesday morning. It was my mom's birthday and my dad had just recently passed away. It was a weird and joyful and difficult time. Morgan welcomed my mom and was kind, patient, and accommodating. Mom loved her haircut and style and she's going to look great for her birthday and my dad's funeral services. Went in for highlights with Saryn last Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I needed to get my roots covered up before the holidays and I was coming into town for Thanksgiving and found the salon on here. Saryn asked me what I wanted done and I told her highlights. She also asked me if I wanted to go blonder to which I replied "I wouldn't mind going a bit blonder". Well, I guess we had different interpretations of "a bit blonder" because now I am EXTREMELY blonde, but just on the upper part of my hair. The underneath part is my natural brown and it just contrasts too much. The blonde washes me out and makes me look almost sickly. I'm frustrated because I am 2 and a half hours away so I can't go back and have it fixed so when I go home this weekend from college I have to go to my normal salon and have my hair stylist fix it. So that means I'll be out the $135 from my trip to Beyond Blessed and whatever it costs from my normal salon to fix it. Moral of the story: be careful what you ask for. Updated review: I just wanted to post a text conversation with Beyond Blessed. I am truly appalled at the lack of disrespect I am being show. My blood is boiling. I have never had this bad of an experience at a salon before. Note the last gray text bubble that says to call her back so we can "resolve this like adults". This was my first Time in this salon. I've been looking around for a new hair stylist so... Since this one had a lot of reviews I thought I'd try it out. The lady who did my hair was so kind. Said she had been there for a few months and was just ready to try a different path of hair. I told her what I wanted and she got to work. As I sat in my chair I heard the gossip from the other stylists with their costumers. The conversations were interesting and loud. That's why I heard it. Things like my boyfriend cheated on me type stories. It was the stylists doing all the taking. Those kind of stories don't really make an atmosphere very welcoming. When the lady was finished doing my hair, she asked how I wanted it. "Curly" I said. (I wear my hair naturally curly) but I think she meant like blow dry then curl with a curling iron. Oh well! )She made it look really great! It's just hard to tell what my hair would look like everyday... Because I don't fix my hair like that. Finally I washed my hair a day later & saw that the layers were a lot different than I had ever had. Not my favorite hair cut. It looks like I have long hair then half of my hair was cut in the middle. But truly, she was so kind. So 3 stars for the atmosphere & my odd cut. read more

Bad experience and costumer service. Got a Louis Vuitton for a gift and went to return it (not even 24 hours later) because it was to big for my purse. They would not return it and wouldn't even give store credit for the salon only the boutique. They do not even have enough outfits to spend the amount for the wallet. Also the Lois Vuitton wallet does not have the certification card in it claiming that it is authentic. Very disappointing. read more

I took a chance on this salon because they could fit me in on short notice. I won't return. My hair cut is awful and doesn't resemble anything the stylist and I discussed before the cut. I even brought pictures of what I wanted. I was embarrassed how I looked afterwards. I Wasted $50 on this cut. I had an appointment with DeAnn. Let's start with the good. She was super sweet and cute. That's it. The haircut I got that day was the 2nd worst haircut I've ever gotten- the worst one being when my friend and I were 4 and decided to cut each others' hair. I originally wanted more natural looking highlights and a cut. I guess her idea of "more natural looking highlights" meant slapping 10 or so foils in my hair. After cutting my hair, she offered to style it to "show [me] how to get 'that' messy look"- highly convinced this was her way of covering up the bad cut she knew she gave me. It wasn't until I took a shower that night when I noticed how uneven my hair was in several different spots. She charged me $140 for that. What a joke. A few days later, I ended up driving 2.5 hrs to my hometown so my stylist there could fix what DeAnn did. When she let my hair out of the pony tail, the first thing she said was "holyyy sh!+". Sooooo, my advice is 1) save your money &/or 2) go to someone else In response to your comment below DeAnn: It's called manners. For one, you did not show me the backside of my hair at all before curling it or before I left. Mistake #1, I almost asked to see, but did not. The back was the issue. Had you given me a hand-held mirror and spun me around so I could have looked at the back side, believe I would I have {politely} said something. I could clearly see the hair that laid in front of my shoulders was uneven (the right side being an inch or so longer in one spot than on the left side), but thought I'd be polite, not mention it, and just cut that section of hair myself when I got home. No big deal right? Wrong. The back side needed some serious help, and the only way it was going to get better was by having another stylist correct it. 25 highlights? No way. Maybeeee 15, absolutely no more than 20. Overpriced, oh yes, it's cool though, the highlights weren't so much the issue-- the quality of the highlights were mediocre. I'm sorry I had to be your first bad review on yelp, but I'm sure I wasn't your first bad review in all. On the other hand, at least the ice has been broken and maybe now others won't feel obligated to hold in their experience just to avoid being the first review on here that isn't a five-star one. read more

Loved my cut and style by JoAnn! I came in with my very wavy hair and explained that not only do I keep it wavy, but also wear it straight, which can be a hassle when getting it cut.
