This is the best company to have your kitchen remodel by. They have quality cabinets, hardware, and countertops, with reasonable prices and a great crew of workers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their kitchen done right.. I so appreciated that Dan listen to what I wanted to have done in my kitchen and he made it happen at a reasonable price and quality materials. He saw my vision and made great suggestions but never pushed something I didn't want. There were time as the progress was going that I was in tears of joy with how it was coming together. I was so happy with the look, the people and job they were doing. Richard, Cesar, Raul and Martin installed the cabinets quickly and very effectively, even with a minor change that I asked them to do. They quickly did the change without making me feel I was wrong in asking. Great group of fellows that work so well together to get it accomplished. First tears of joy for how beautiful the cabinets were and looked. Miguel, Max, Jose and Victor were the crew that installed my granite countertops. I sort of made it a challenge for them asking that the largest counter not have a seam in it, but be a completely one piece. They did it so nicely. As they installed, the second tears happen for how beautiful it looked. Melissa took all my phone calls and answered all my questions I had, never me feel that any of them were trivial. I loved working with her, so easy to get along with. Only have one before picture. But what a change!

Unbeknown to me as to why, besides prior experience…read more Now granted, Rick Chao himself, installed my cabinets and for the majority of the work he addressed most of my concerns. However, I wish he would have designed our cabinets. Upon taking delivery and initial install, the builder specifically spelled out on the floor the appropriate dimensions for the bathroom vanities and ended up being oversized and had to remove and receive some sort of credit (still wondering how my handles supposedly offset that), but my primary gripe with this whole endeavor is that I feel my cabinets were unfinished. Excuse I received was that the proposal they put together was for a 2cm countertop (which they did not receive the bid) and I ended up going with a 3 cm countertop and they said that because the cabinets were designed with a 2 cm that the plywood ended up not being finished due to raising the countertop. Now, in my entire experience of constructing a new home; it is evident to me that there is no accountability for any of the subcontractors I've dealt with. Hence, I'm struggling to recommend these folks yet I'll still give them a decent review because they appropriately know how to charge and not back up the 'white glove' delivery per their bid. Rick is an awesome guy; but felt like he was trying to convince me to not patch the exposed OSB to not make it look like it was a cabinet issue but more of a countertop issue. So buyer beware of their lack of accountability. It was proposed that I should quote a stainless steel finish to make it look the countertop guys screwed up.

The idea that a small kitchen should be measured properly and completed within a reasonable timeframe is simply not part of their approach. If you want your kitchen to be the heart of your home without exceeding timelines and budgets, avoid this business. The prices are some of the most inflated prices in the local area - You can find better prices, business ethics, and much more competent employees with other companies in Tucson. Over the course of 8 months, there were constant staff changes--people were fired, reassigned, many people quit and the new hire PM was completely unprepared and had zero clue what she was talking about. So my designer got fired, I went through 2 different construction managers, four installers and the incompetent PM. While the owner himself handled a portion of the cabinet installation and was detailed in his work, that's where the positives ended. To make matters worse, I was required to pay 90% of the cabinet price three months before they even began making the necessary repairs and replacements. After the holidays I was contacted to pay the remaining 10% because they are in need of money for the business and I told them that I wasn't going to pay until the job was 100% complete. Also on the website it states "in business for 22 years." This is very misleading because the owner has only had the company for 3 years with only the name of the company being around for 22 years. Who does business like that? This company--Southwest Kitchen & Bath-- Is going to go out of business soon, and this business is one to avoid!!

We bought a house with a kitchen clearly done in two stages, one side of the kitchen was dates, but…read moregood quality cabinets. The other side was incredibly cheap. The bottom of the drawer was bowing when I put silverware in the drawer, and had features, such as a large wine rack that we didn't need. We were looking for someplace that could reface part of the kitchen, and completely demo and rework the other side. We had a wonderful experience with Southwest Kitchen & Bath. Our sales person Lisa was wonderful to work with, triple confirming all the measurements so everything came in right the first time. Since everything had to be made custom, the total project was about 12 weeks, but the stages were clearly communicated up front, and we didn't have to clear out of the kitchen until after the new cabinets arrived, so the down time really wasn't too bad. We requested a few changes mid project, such as under cabinet lighting. Lisa and our project coordinator Katy were very helpful with suggesting what they could offer, but also options we could do ourselves if we wanted to go that route. We've dealt with a lot of contractors - flooring, tile, electrical, handymen, and I have to say our experience with Deluxe Granite was by far the best experience of all these different projects. We are absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our experience! First of all, just the planning and communication aspects were fantastic! Rene was great to work with. So was Sharon, handling the office administration, she was easy to work with too. Rene responded quickly, came out to measure, showed us some options, and communicated clearly about the process, the timeline, etc. We ended up going with granite, although we weren't sure initially if it would be quartz or granite, and we're really glad we went with granite. She showed us a photo of the slab, and that was good enough for us, we chose not to look at it in the showroom, and when it did arrive and got installed, it was completely true to the picture, so we were quite happy with the way it looked. The entire process took very little of our time. I could not believe how quickly both the initial consultation with Rene and measuring the template (thank you, Nick!) took, let alone the actual installation (removal of existing and installation of new countertop). Leif and his assistant (sorry I didn't remember his name) did an excellent job. They showed up on time, got to work, tore down the old countertop, installed the new one, it seemed like in no time we were looking squarely at our beautiful new countertops! Leif was really personable and highly skilled, and communicated clearly about care and maintenance. This company is doing something right. They must have figured out a great business model. Consult, select, measure, take template, order slab, tear down and install. No problem. Well done. We did get other bids before choosing Deluxe Granite and some of them it seemed like it would take weeks or months, or we wouldn't get what we really wanted, or there was some kind of compromise somewhere. Not true for Deluxe Granite. We were happy with selection, material, timing, communication, installation, and cost! We are grateful for Deluxe Granite's work. Couldn't be happier. They even have excellent contacts for tile and handyman work. In fact we are having the tile work start tomorrow for the backsplash, which will look great with the new countertop! This was the best experience with any type of home installation or repair project we've had. I would HIGHLY recommend Deluxe Granite to anyone in the Tucson area.

Contacted Deluxe Granite through the Yelp app and they responded within a hour. I was able to set up a time and for $100 less than the other company. Leif arrived right on time, even a little early and walked me through the whole process. Within 10 mins he had the chip patched and sanded. He color matched it so well. He was masked the entire time. My wife couldn't even see where the patch was. Great experience. Definitely would recommend.

Their team is terrific too. Nick is affable and so easy to work with -- he is knowledgeable and makes sure work onsite is done correctly. We've worked with other companies where the field supervisor has "checked out". Not Nick -- he's dependable and responsible, characteristics you need in a project manager. Carrie, their office manager, is organized and kept us updated in a timely manner. Sometimes things go awry, but they made sure we were taken care of. They stand behind their projects and make sure any subcontractors warranty their work. Case in point: our bathroom remodel was completed 3 years ago. There was a breach in the wax seal in the toilet. Nick brought the plumber by and they took care of it. That's customer service! Because they are so good they are in high demand. You might have to wait several months as they have so many on-going projects, but as long as that expectation is there it's worth the wait.

I had repeatedly expressed to her that I had never worked with an interior designer before and that she would need to guide me through the process. She did give me the run down of what to expect 'overall' but nothing more than that. When I asked her for a open concept she told me it couldn't be done and that 'you can't always get what you want', when I suggested adding some columns to open up the space, she said 'ya we can do that'. With the years of experience that she has I would have thought that she should have made the recommendation. When she provided costing for the remake of our Master Bath/Master Bedroom/ Master closet it seemed extremely high considering we were using existing plumbing and drainage that was already in place, I asked her to see an itemized list to verify the costs. Her reply was 'I don't itemize, I ran the numbers again and they look good.' It would be weeks on end before I would get a reply back from here and I almost always had to be the one to initiate the contact. I was extremely frustrated with the whole process and actually dreaded working with her. To this day I still don't have final plans, but had to let her go, because I realized that we would not be a good fit. So I just have to just chalk up the $3,000 I paid for the plans as a learning experience. But on a good note, I did find another designer that is AWESOME. Very responsive, very budget conscious and just a joy to work with.
