The studio has a serene, relaxed atmosphere, and whoever is at the desk always seems genuinely happy to see you. I'm really enjoying coming here for classes and trying new things. I will never take barre again based on my experience here, but that has more to do with me and nothing to do with the quality of the classes - pretty sure this is one of the best barre experiences in the area...I just think all barre experiences are criminal and TORTURE. If you sign up for training, you're locked in for a full year. Greg will convince you that you're out of shape even if you were top 10 in the last CrossFit games. Do the math first so you know what you're getting into. BUYER BEWARE PT 2/2 If start using a gym membership through your insurance company (LAF is in the BCBS Blue 365 network), LAF will do a complimentary freeze on your account & unlock it (start charging you again) after one year. That said, it's worth the trip--I take a restorative yoga class with a sound bath here, and so far, it's the only place in the area that offers this as a regular class. The space is lovely, with a great selection of gifts, books, clothing, and more. Parking can be a bit frustrating, as the lot behind the building sometimes fills up, and street parking may be necessary.
