There are many different styles and colors to choose from. I had a little bit of difficulty shopping online, so it was nice to be able to go into the store and actually touch and feel some of the products. I actually found this location as a happy accident as I was walking by on my way to another store. They have several different textures that they use for their shirts, including a more hot-weather-friendly one for spring and summer that I ended up buying. Overall, they have a lot of really fun prints and there's definitely something there for everyone. The store attendant, Jonny, was incredibly kind and helpful in assisting me to find what I was looking for. He was able to answer all of my questions and make suggestions that ended up helping me with my purchase. Highly recommend.

Extremely high quality and breathable material clothes... loved how their trim polos fit and liked that they offer no-tuck dress shirts (especially great for shorter guy.. couldn't be me of course :P ). Their shorts were also comfortable and look great - they have more casual and then more formal offerings. Definitely recommend y'all checking this place out! The store has a very unassuming exterior. I would have totally missed it if I had not been to the original Sid Mashburn in the Westside district of Atlanta. It is an upscale niche-ish menswear / lifestyle store. It mostly caters to those who read GQ religiously. Now that I think about it, I think the store has grown because of the constant exposure it gets in #menswear blogs and magazines. For the lack of better term, I'd say the style of the store is a trendier / less conservative version of Brooks Brothers with better attention to fit. The premise of the store is that you shouldn't expect clothes to fit perfectly off the rack and are meant to be altered. That's why they have an in-house tailor that can alter the items to fit you in exactly the way you want. As far as the prices go, it's not cheap. A good looking suit here costs about 4 grand. Shirts are 150+. They also do bespoke and made-to-measure orders with Kiton and other high-end companies. They mostly focus on their house label but they do carry an assortment of upscale brands that I haven't seen much in Houston yet. -Alden, Edward Green, Filson, Diptyque (well, this one not so much), Levi's I think the quality of the house-label, especially the shirts, is a little disappointing. Sure, the fabric may be a little better but it just doesn't warrant the over-the-top price tag. I feel like you can get decent suits made with Loro Piana or Cerruti for much less if you look in the right place. With that said, the service here is impeccable and that's reflected in the price. I'd recommend this place if you got that River Oak$ money and are looking to add a little flare to your office attire or to "outfashion" your co-workers perhaps.

I know there are locations in The Woodlands and at the Katy Mills Mall. In the past, my husband has purchased Tommy Bahama shirts at Nordstrom, but this store has a much great selection. We ventured in here on Black Friday and found that even though the Galleria was busy, this store wasn't very busy. They don't run specials like the other stores often do because they send their "deals" to the outlet location in Katy Mills. The service here was attentive, even if I found one of the ladies hovering over us in an annoying way. I guess it was obvious we were buying shirts and not wasting their time, so we became some type of prize. Ugh. The selection here is great. They have a wide variety of clothes and sizes. There are several dressing rooms in the back BUT the lighting inside the dressing rooms is dim and overly yellow, so you have to step out of the room for each piece of clothing, what a strange set up. When more sizes are needed, employees are quick to check the back. The prices here are high, but the shirts were all pure silk. Most shirts we looked at ran $120 - 180 each. Overall, a great place to get some nice relaxed shirts.

As luck would have it, they had an in-store deal going on which was 50% off of anything. I had picked up a green top and combined with my coupon which was, I can't remember now, but probably $15 off or something, ultimately got the top for $5!!!! An Ann Taylor for $5, now that is what I call a surprise gift! Tiffany and Cassey were on the floor that evening, it was closing time, and I was in and out in 10 min with a top in hand. They were super friendly and also equally shocked at my steal deal! What I learnt that day is that, stores, to encourage foot fall, have special offers valid only in store, and they also don't repeat in all stores, each area has its own special offers which you won't know until u actually visit. Good to know. And thanks Ann Taylor for that gift.

An Ann Taylor, for that matter…read more Ann Taylor is expensive and it's fancy and it's the kind of place where you go if you have a little extra money - which we generally don't. Nevertheless if you want to sink a bunch of money into a place for nice clothes for women, then this will do, I suppose. A lot of people love Ann Taylor but Barbie thinks it's kind of average - which is lucky for me cuz it saves us a lot on the wallet.
