She was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and walked me through every step of the process, making sure I felt at ease the whole time. BeYouty Medical Spa is truly a hidden gem in Los Alamitos. It's located on Katella a little down from the hospital -- and since it's on the second floor, you do have to take the stairs up. But once you're inside, it's absolutely worth it. The exam rooms have a surprisingly gorgeous view overlooking Los Alamitos, which makes the whole experience feel elevated and calm. The space is very clean, professional, and streamlined. My appointment was efficient and fairly fast, but I never felt rushed. For pricing transparency: Botox is $14.50 per unit for non-members. They also offer a $99/month membership that fully deposits into your account to use toward treatments, and members pay $12.50 per unit for Botox -- which is a great value if you plan on maintaining regularly. They also offer PRP injections, facials, and other aesthetic treatments. I appreciated that they had clear pamphlets explaining membership and services so you can make an informed decision. Overall, such a professional and well-run spot. I'll definitely be coming back for more services soon. read more

Very disappointed. I paid $250 to dissolve filler in my lips, asking her to only remove a little so we don't over-dissolve them, thinking when I came back she would dissolve more if needed. I did need more dissolved and she charge me another $150 to dissolve it more. The l reason they have so many reviews is they offer $50 off to people if they leave a review. I cannot recommend them. read more

I have been trying to find a place in the area to go to and was excited this place popped up with such good reviews. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with what happened to my face. I came in for what I thought was pretty simple. Some Dysport for my face. I have been getting this done for many years and never had a problem. The staff here was very nice, Batoul was my injector and she was very nice and seemed to know what she was doing. So I'm not sure what happened. I asked to soften my chin and I've used dysport in that area many many times and she suggested I used a different neurotoxin that she said works better on the chin. Well, not sure what happened and not sure why. But I have this ugly, very noticeable thing when I move my chin.. like a bump now where it was injected. It's not my actual chin or muscle.. it's the product itself. It's so disappointing as it's my face, I feel subconscious now, I wasted money (and a tip) and have to have this bump for a few months until it subsides. read more

Update from my previous visit…read more 2 stars. The nurse was rough when twisting the connector, which made the IV catheter move inside my vein, and rough again when removing it. It was super painful, especially because they inserted it before the alcohol dried, which makes it sting more. It was not relaxing at all. I am human, not an animal. They used an IV catheter, which is typically better for longer drips, as the metal needle is removed and only a soft tube remains inside. However, if it is handled roughly, it can still cause pain. Using a butterfly needle or an even smaller needle size would be much gentler and far less painful for customers. The technique matters as much as the needle size. The ingredients were not disclosed, so I am unsure whether they are sourced from China, the USA, or Korea. Sessions are already a minimum of $200, and at checkout, they still do the classic "going to ask you a question" tip prompt, starting at 20% really? The energy in the room also felt anxious. Staff kept opening the door like they were unsure how long the session should take. Only one other customer was there, yet it still felt chaotic. The location is convenient, and they do offer different drips; however, I will not be coming back. I have already found another place with better reviews, a doctor-led approach 25% lower prices, and most importantly, a smoother and less painful needle setup.

I came here several times for their O Skin Signature Facial for $165 but you can customize it with…read moreupgrades like LED light therapy, dermaplaning, dermasweep for an extra fee. The actual treatment is very relaxing. Their signature facial also includes a face mask, a shoulder and hand massage, and paraffin wax for your hands and feet. They also offer other services such as weight loss, botox, eyebrow sculpting, etc. Just keep in mind that only RNs are allowed to perform extractions here which turns to be a real hassle at times. One time, I had to wait over 30 minutes just for a nurse to become available, and on other occasions, I couldn't get the extraction done at all because they were too busy. To make matters worse, some of the RNs have poor attitudes and "hardly ever follow up". A family member was specifically told to text the nurse with any medication questions, but when she did, the RN repeatedly took hours to reply. I also had a personal encounter with an RN who got visibly upset when the front desk asked her to do my extraction. She actually took her frustration out on me because she mistook me for another customer. Whether it was a case of mistaken identity or not, paying customers should never be treated this way, no matter how busy they are. Otherwise, the front desk staff and the estheticians themselves are very nice. If you plan on becoming a regular customer, my tip is: Get to know the estheticians and find one you like because some are amazing while others are just so-so. As for the facility itself, the place is very clean, smells great, and has nice amenities. Their waiting area is very comfortable with light snacks, they provide lockers for your things, and they even have heated toilet seats! The place is located inside the Cerritos Mall. But despite the huge parking areas - finding a spot is a real pain. With the exception of some nurses who have attitude, O Skin lives up to my expectations of providing high quality facials.
