After allowing ample time for healing and scar maturation, I remain dissatisfied with the final outcome. I underwent a breast lift with implant replacement at Ocean Plastic Surgery. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with my outcome. My concerns include the position of the nipple-areola complexes, visible scarring, and the overall lift achieved. In my personal opinion, the results did not meet the expectations I had discussed prior to surgery. I have consulted with other providers regarding revision options because I do not feel the outcome achieved the appearance I was hoping for. In addition to my concerns about the surgical result, I experienced significant issues with anesthesia billing. The anesthesia estimate increased multiple times and the final amount was presented on the day of surgery while I was already being prepared for the procedure. I later discovered the anesthesia invoice had been sent to an incorrect email address, which delayed my ability to obtain complete billing records. Rather than focusing on resolving my concerns, the office sent legal correspondence demanding removal of my review. My experience has left me disappointed both with the outcome and with how my concerns were handled afterward. I encourage prospective patients to ask detailed questions regarding final anesthesia costs, billing procedures, scar expectations, nipple positioning goals, and revision policies before proceeding with surgery. I'm sharing my experience so future patients can make a fully informed decision before scheduling surgery. My procedure took place in August 2025. During my consultation, my situation was described as potentially urgent, and I was encouraged to schedule surgery quickly. Because of this, I felt pressure to move forward sooner than I otherwise would have, without taking additional time to obtain other opinions or fully evaluate costs. On the day of surgery, the anesthesia estimate changed significantly -- from approximately $500, to around $1,500, and ultimately to about $1,800 -- shortly before the procedure while I was already being prepared. At that point, I did not feel I had a meaningful opportunity to reconsider or evaluate the change. After surgery, obtaining documentation (including chart updates and anesthesia billing) required multiple requests over several weeks. I was later informed the anesthesia invoice had been sent to an incorrect email address, which explains why it was not received earlier. Clear and timely access to billing and medical records is important, especially when working with insurance, and these delays made that process more difficult. I am currently working to resolve the anesthesia billing concerns directly with the office and will update as the matter progresses. My intention in sharing this is simply to help others ask detailed questions in advance -- particularly about anesthesia costs, billing processes, and how documentation will be provided after surgery. This review reflects my personal experience and the documentation I have while continuing to address the remaining issues.
