I have to say that I'm pretty critical of boat brokers, I've been boating my whole life, have a good handle on what I'm looking at, what my needs are and all of that. With that said, I have little patience with brokers that do not know what they are talking about; many don't of course. However, meeting Mike I have to say that he was great to deal with. Mike was fair, honest, motivated and responsive. If I reached out he was quick to respond. Mike was a straight shooter and didn't BS me. I'm old and have been around for a long time and can typically pick up on the BS fairly quick. Mike was easy to deal with and his office staff (Nicolette) was just as great to deal with as well. I have no complaints with these guys, they were a big help and I appreciate it. Here is one example of Mike's dedication, on a Sunday, not too long ago, Mike flew in from vacation, got in his car and drove straight from the airport to meet up with me so that I could see the boat for the first time that I eventually bought. My husband Mark and I started the journey of boat shopping back in August. I have grown up going to Greenwich Boat and Yacht Club with my dad being a member there, and then…read moreultimately my brother and I were members when we lived in the area. Seriously, my dad has been a member here for about 40 years. (Love seeing some old school pics of him in the rec room from when he as on the board with that nice 60's stash. ha!) The facilities include a large recreation room with a TV and pool tables, a very large community kitchen, restrooms, several grills with plenty of seating, and an outdoor shower. The lawns are always manicured so it's nice to sit outside and watch the flutter of activity going on in Boston Harbor. And how can I not mention the oar ring game that only gets better when your're playing against family and friends. If you're looking for a community boat club then Greenwich Boat and Yacht Club would be a great option for you.
