This was after three days of trying to reach someone to confirm the location -- and being told by their voicemail not to leave more than one message. No one ever called me back. When I finally reached someone after leaving the Ormond office, she said she would contact Orange City and call me right back. That call never came either. I drove to the second location on my own, only to be told I could not be seen and would need to make yet another appointment. By then, I had wasted half my day, two unnecessary trips, and my own gas because of their complete lack of communication and coordination. No patient should have to deal with this level of disorganization. My time has value, and I fully expect the doctor to pay the invoice I submitted for the time, mileage, and inconvenience caused by their repeated mistakes. This office needs serious internal fixes before more patients are affected.

When I finally got in, I didn't even see a doctor -- only a nurse practitioner who showed little to no interest in getting to know her patient. At the first visit, there were no meaningful questions about my health history or the reason for my visit. The only thing that came out of that appointment was a prescription for blood work -- no discussion, no concern, no follow-up. At my second visit, when we went over the blood work, things got even worse. The nurse practitioner walked in reading her iPad, clearly looking at my results for the first time -- even though they'd had them for over two weeks. She hadn't reviewed anything beforehand, didn't ask questions, didn't explain much of anything. Her only advice was, "Don't eat red meat or sugar." When I replied that I don't eat red meat, she had nothing more to say. Then she added, "Oh, and avoid eggs and cheese." I told her I don't eat much dairy because my system can't handle it -- again, no questions, no curiosity, no concern. When I asked, "Then why wasn't I asked for my medical records? How can you treat someone if you don't know their history?" I was told they didn't have access to them -- and that was it. When I mentioned I have autoimmune issues, I was told, "We don't deal in that," and the conversation ended there. That's when I got up and walked out. I didn't even get to address the issues I came in for. This was one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had -- no professionalism, no compassion, and no real medical care. I will never go back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone looking for genuine healthcare or a provider who actually listens.
