You can imagine what my expectation was regarding what type of clothes I would encounter. I took her, b/c I'm a good daughter, not b/c I was expecting to enjoy a single moment of my time in the shop. My initial impression couldn't be farther from my actually experience. We drove into an unassuming strip mall and was immediately directed to the shop by signs posted along the parking lot (good idea). As we pull up, we are greeted by a hot pink "red" carpet and window dressing far from grandma/elderly woman's clothing. As we enter, we are immediately greeted by the beautiful diva owner, Giovanna, who verbally directed us to the store layout. My compadre's browsed, but when Giovann noticed I wasn't delving into the clothing racks (i'm not much of a shopper), she came over to me and questioned me on what my 'style' was. Which left me speechless, b/c again, I'm not a shopper and am not the kind of girl who has any idea what "style" I prefer. So, she broke it down for me. "Tell me how you like to 'feel', not how you like to look". Thus began all of our journey into diva-hood. For the next 2 hours, we tried on clothes all while Diva Giovanna showed us tips on how to bring out our best features, how to pose in a way that creates the best pictures, and what looks would work best on our bodies...she even took pictures of us in her clothes to show us how amazing we looked. It wasn't shopping. It was an experience in celebrating womanliness! There is something for everyone in this shop (even a little dog and a piano), casual, fancy, REALLY FANCY... She will make you try on things you didn't even know you would look good in and she will style you. She will make you feel like a princess, and you will leave with clothes, jewelry, accessories that will actually look like your best self. Head to G shop to get your DIVA on!

They sell clothing for women, men, and children. They also sell women's shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, and hair accessories. I didn't peruse the children and men's section so not sure what accessories they offer. IMO, a bit on the pricier side if items are not on clearance. There is a small selection of clearance item in the back of the store. Normally I only shop in petites given that I am only 5' tall so was pleasantly surprised that I found a sweater where the sleeves were the perfect length for me. The sweater is so cute with a big red heart and horizontal stripes. It was originally $89.50, but I purchased it for only $3.49 after 70% clearance was applied to the sale price with an additional $10 off after signing up for their rewards program called JC Passport. What a great way to start the weekend. I LOVE a good deal! The store was clean and organized and the associate who checked me out was super friendly. I can see this store being in my rotation when I go clothes shopping. However, I will likely only go during holidays when clothing retailers generally have the best sales. I was able to make the appointment online which was convenient. Brett was personable and suggested a plan of attack given the ample time I have until my spring wedding. First the shoulders will be taken up. That was less than $50. Next he suggested we do the hem (about $200 for a multilayered lace dress). Then the simple bustle will be added to the back for about $150. Finally, I am to come back in February for any final adjustments in case I lose weight. Prices were well in line with my expectations. And my fiancé Paul will be ordering his rental suit from Brett in February. Will update as we get closer to our wedding date. We were helped by Allie who was so patient with us from beginning to end. They have a cute dressing room for the bride to try on dresses. Allie helped my friend try on 5-6 dresses that we initially picked out, and she then brought 2-3 more to try based on the feedback we were providing throughout the fitting. After my friend picked her dress, we also asked about veils to which Allie picked a few out. She even went as far as bringing one from the back that had just been brought in. That newer veil ended up being the one my friend went home with. We were given complimentary champagne to toast to finding my friend's dress & veil. Overall, Allie and Cherie's Bridal made the process of finding a dress seamless. My friend (and I) had such a great experience overall. Local tailors were also provided to help with any alterations. Cherie's is accessible right off the parking lot (there's a direct entrance), and can also be reached through the inside of the Savage Mill building if you come in from the Big Lot.
