Not pictured: the naan here was probably some of the best naan I've ever had, it was super fresh tasting and I could have eaten it by itself! We got palak paneer and masala roast chicken. We got both medium spicy but the chicken definitely had a kick where the paneer did not. They were both delicious though. It was my dad's birthday and we ordered two desserts and they were kind enough to bring us a third one with a candle in it for him. One thing I didn't like was the ras malai tres leches dessert, I've had a similar dessert to this at many different places and this one had a lot of different fruits mixed into it (grapes, apples) and that wasn't mentioned on the menu description. I would suggest some more clarity on the menu with descriptions of items. But overall, great food! read more

We went to BHOG on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The ambiance looked good and the staff were welcoming. We ordered veg thali. Everything on the thali was delicious and unlimited. They had uttapam and manchow soup to begin with. For the main course, they had 3-4 curries, sambar, dal, rice, pulao, puri, raita, and papad. For dessert, they had gulab jamun pudding which was delicious. The food was great too. Would love to visit again soon. read more

Wonderfully kind staff who subtly greet you with namaste hand gesture and look you in the eye and engage. For all the ignorant cultural childishness going on in America, the media ever crows about what an absolute asset and delight the Indian community is, improving our neighborhoods, our workforce and reinforcing our innate love of community and family and living. But this is an eatery I'm commenting on! The decode is slightly swanky modern. BHOG means from what I understand the sacred sacrament of giving food. The best of my dining experience were the smaller details. Killer chai tea - thick and luxurious. A mango lassi that was truly unique. However when I ordered Chicken Tikka, I was warmly informed they only have chicken tikka Marsala. I tried reasoning my way out of it. "Just give the Chicken Tikka and hold the Marsala!" No dice. Okay Lamb samosa too please. All out. Ah well. Both dishes were entirely fine but the chicken was a bit stringy. Not bad but not great. Still, a cozy experience. read more

We are very disappointed with the food. We ordered North Indian dishes and it is clear the chef is either not from northern India or have not mastered the style, service was acceptable, nothing extraordinary, the ambiance is pleasant. Food overall is expensive, be prepared to spend about $50-$70 per person and they will not only charge gratuity of 18% they will also charge 3.% credit card fees. I hope they focus on improving their recipes. We unfortunately won't go here again. read more

Bhog had a lot of hits and a few sort of misses. First the hits: cute little complimentary pappadams shaped like a cone, delicious and crispy Manchurian knots that were recommended to us; kadhai paneer was mildly spiced curry with fresh paneer cubes and crunchy peppers. The best hit was the dal makhani served in a mini bucket looking thing but could've easily been in a real bucket and we'd finished it. That dal was perfectly creamy and good. The sort of misses included the tandoori mix. The taste of most of those kebabs were good but missing that heat and sizzle. The naan were flat and didn't have the fresh from the oven taste or temperature. The gulab jamun pretty good and served warm. Service was friendly and I love when they know their food and make recommendations. The restaurant has a clean modern look with the music playing had a lounge feel. Thali is great, everything tastes amazing but they should have limited option. When it's unlimited thali, no restaurant allows you to share and that makes sense but then for people who prefer variety but eat in small amounts, limited thali works better and they don't have that option, they should. read more

Poor service, understaffed. Servers and managers are clueless on how to handle guests. Some food is decent but deserts (ras malai) are straight but brought out of freezer felt like biting into ice. Never again. Ambience is good but not enough to go back. read more

Service nice pleasant servers. They make sure you have plenty of water & keep an eye on you to serve. Can't go wrong. Our first time here the menu is big & our server answered all my questions. Everything available nothing sold out. It's BYOB so that's a plus. Ajay was on top of it all day! His side kick with the yellow jacket was also on the ball didn't get his name. Food Ordered appetizers & we are full! Naan bread yellow daal, chicken Malai Kebab & crispy corn fritters with chili. Bang bang out of this world! The mock tails are all good too. We went to BHOG as a group of friends and their food and service was amazing!! The time was near the closing time and unlike some other restaurants, we were told we could still come in! Chinmayee helped us out and the service was excellent!! We loved it all so much that for our Holiday Party yesterday, we catered from BHOG again and it was another pleasant experience. First time visiting this restaurant. What a great atmosphere! A beautiful sense of aroma makes one feel very welcome as you enter. I was greeted by a pleasant host with a warm welcome and pretty smile who seated us. Our server was Ramalya who was very knowledgeable about the foods and give great recommendations and excellent customer service. I am a plant based eater (vegan) I was surprised there was lots of choices on the menu. The food was delicious, I enjoyed my dinner leaving very satisfied. Our favorites were the mini cheese kulchas, beet tikki chaat, masala roast chicken, chicken drumsticks & mysore masala dosa (which was huge!) The kebabs were decent but not exceptional and the kadai paneer was sub-par. Service: 4 - Our server was very friendly & helpful in suggesting some of their best specialties but attention to water re-filling was spotty and they didn't clean the table between courses despite asking us to hold on to the silverware when they changed plates...so we were either holding our used silverware or putting it on the uncleaned table :( Ambiance: 3.5 - Decor is minimalist & spare which is fine, but the addition of nicer table mats or tablecloths as well as better lighting would go a long way to elevating the look & feel of this restaurant. read more

As a fellow Indian, I'm usually hard-pressed to find good Indian food that's not dumbed down . This was really good Indian food!! Literally everything we tried was awesome right from the goat Karahi to the bhindi dish. I know we ordered more but drawing a blank as it was 2 weeks ago. They also serve masala papad at the start which I thought was a nice touch. I'm so happy to find an authentic Indian restaurant that I actually feel like going to!
