VEGETABLE TOSTADA $12 Fried Tortilla topped with Soya granules, beans, corn, onion tomato & sauces (from specials menu)

Vegetable Tostada $12 (fried Tortilla topped with Soya granules, beans, corn, onion tomato & sauces) - left like a Mexican dish. Would have liked more Indian flavors. Was on the specials menu Paneer Tikka Masala $21 - the paneer was a bit more firm than I prefer but sauce was good Alleppy Fish Curry $27 - very soft fish. Good curry Crunchy Aloo Tikki Chaat (PR Special) $12 (Mashed and seasoned fried potato medallions served with spiced chick peas topped with mint & tamarind chutneys) - this was really good. The potato was really good. Great for dipping with the garlic naan too Good buttery garlic naan Would come back to try their thali lunch

Amazing food filled with so much flavor! After dining in here I had to place an order for take out to have the rest of the week because it was that good !!

We went there after Covid for the first time this place used to be our go to spot for takeout, but what I saw that the old owners are no longer there and the place has been upgraded. The place looked well kept and clean. It was busy but the service was fast. We had lots of things but the best was dhaba style chicken and laal Maas (I know they might not be able to use the authentic chills and still Called it laal Maas) still A+ for good taste now the bad why why and why you add tons of heavy cream in panner (panner lababdar). But rest of the food was good so 5 stars

One word - Disappointed! Came in for a weekday dinner after being recommended by a lot of friends and was not Impressed the the food much ! Ordered a Lassoni Jhinga- The prawns were totally overcooked and were very hard and rubbery ! Sauce was more sour than being lasooni/garlicky For mains the chicken tikka masala was recommended by the server and some naan bread and laccha paratha. The Tikka Masala was good but had a raw tomato flavor in the gravy which indicates it wasn't cooked fully . The chicken also could have been actually grilled in the tandoor and not the regular boiled chicken pieces to give it an authentic feel. The laccha paratha was by far the only good thing I ate here which gets full marks. Maybe will give it another try with a larger group to try more options but not authentic enough based on what I had . Service was slow even though not much rush

Another exceptional meal ! Nothing more to say . Consistent taste & service. The husband wife duo who own this place are very involved and care for their customers . Being foodies themselves they keep a tab on the flavors & unique presentation which makes us want to keep going back . A cozy indoor and a lovely outdoor area with ample parking . BYOB makes it convenient to have a beverage of your choice. We hosted a graduation gathering for 25 people outdoor and they took great care and were on point with their dishes. The dining experience at Punjabi Rasoi is worth every penny you pay .

Drum Rolls- I've found my top 3 Indian Restaurant in Central Jersey! Yes, this is a hidden gem in somerset and they serve the most authentic, delicious and mouth watering dishes. If you have eaten here once, I can guarantee that you will come back here asking for more. They have plenty of parking outside and you can easily find a spot! One of the finest Indian restaurants in Central Jersey, they serve authentic north Indian food with panache! We tried several dishes and the winner were - Bihari kababs, sarson da saag, paneer tikka and chole bhature. The taste of the food is closest to what I've had in Delhi or Punjab. The owner Gurvinder serves everyone with a smile and is very friendly. Some of dishes are served so beautifully like sarson da saag on a manji and bihari kababs in a mini oven that it leaves you with a memory of a lifetime! Other items that are on our next visit list are - tandoori chicken, daal makhani and dhaba style chicken curry! During the summer they have a patio that is setup with punjab village theme, I can't wait for summer and experience the setup! I'd definitely be visiting again and ensuring all my friends and family visit this place!

Absolutely incredible- me and my boyfriend went here a few times (pics are from different occasions). Last night though we ordered kebab to start, chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani for mains, and got dessert on the house! The wait staff was incredibly attentive and the food was ... I have no words. So delicious. It was clean, water was in the table when we walked in, a bit on the pricier side but entirely worth it! It almost pains me to post this because I want to keep this place as my little secret, but everyone should have this as their go to Indian food spot!

Amazing Indian Food with a fresh perspective. We definitely ordered way too much but couldn't help but finishing everything. Outside looks unassuming but inside is beautiful modern decor. The service is great, the owners are very friendly. There is a wide array of flavor and texture in every dish. Recommend the Basket chaat, lasooni gobi, the malai kofta and the falooda. Everything on the menu is perfect tho. Will definitely be back.

For a restaurant that charges significantly more than other Indian spots in the area, the quality of the food and service simply isn't there: The Food: The Mango Lassi was so incredibly sour it was undrinkable. The "Fish Kebab" was just basic deep-fried fish with a terrible taste. The Kadai Chicken was nowhere near authentic--it tasted like a generic, basic tomato-onion chicken curry. The Paan: To top it off, the server insisted I try the Indian paan. I reluctantly agreed, only to be served a completely dried-out betel leaf that felt like it had been sitting around for two weeks. The Service: The friendliness was nonexistent. The two tall servers working that day were incredibly cold, uninviting, and gave off an intensely hostile vibe as they escaped from prison. I considered really complain about the food, but decided to just pay and move on. Between the overpriced, poorly executed dishes and the lack of basic hospitality, I won't be returning. Stick to the standard chicken kebab if you absolutely must go, but honestly, you're better off finding authentic Indian food elsewhere.
