Was with a large group. Service was good. Compliments to the staff for their effort to take care of everyone. The food was..., ok. I'd characterize it as very garlic forward (and I love garlic so..., My understanding is this is a relatively new establishment so I hope they grow and improve. The menu was broad with great choices, maybe too many? I don't live near Albany. I was there on a business trip. Went to dinner at Bianca's tonight . Had to send my dinner back because it was cold. My Girlfriend ordered the salmon which came out fine I had ordered veal Marsala and asked them to please not just heat up the plate and over cook the meat and veggies, and refire a new plate of food. What I got back was obviously the same reheated plate with overcooked to death veggies and very tough veal . read more

The Specials All sounded So interesting. There were about 8 items on the list. I Wish the waiter would mention what the prices were! My father in law was picking up the tab, but he was having a pizza. The Grouper special sounded fantastic but, for all I know, it could have been $40! Food was cold and below average in quality. The grilled chicken was covered in sage and uneatable. The Cesar salad, a Mexican salad, was covered in what looked like bagged cheese instead of freshly grated parmesan cheese and when i asked for freshly cracked pepper she reached on the table for the pepper shaker. The crème brûlée was more like a thick, lumpy custard. The tiramisu was OK but dry. Over all this was a was an expensive Olive Garden. read more

Better have a reservation! My wife and I arrived shortly after 5:00 pm. Several employees were gathered around the cash register. Once they cleared, the hostess asked if we had reservations. I looked inside the dinning area and saw three tables occupied with all the other tables open. No other customers were present. Nonetheless, we were refused service. There were several ways that could have been handled, but my patronage is worth something, so I'll visit restaurants where that is valued. read more

Bar area is nice. The individual pizzas are really more like small pizzas at Gargano's. Wish they put some fennel in their pizza sauce. Deserts that I've had were delicious. Steaks a bit overpriced. read more

Food was brought out to table of 10 over a period of an hour. Some quests were done eating before some even got their food. Food was not great . Was told the cook didn't know how to cook a ribeye after it was brought to table over cooked for one quest. Ran poorly and not authentic Italian food. Way over priced. Bread was great. read more

Tried this place out last night and I really enjoyed it. Had reservations for 6pm and by 640 we were paying our ticket. The menu has more options than what shows online. I had the penne vodka pasta with chicken and my boyfriend had some type of veal. We both enjoyed our meals. I tried the crème brûlée for the first time and wasn't impressed with it, but everything else was great. One other thing that I noticed was the glasses on our table and the other tables were not clean. It took a while to find a clean glass, and it wasn't even fully clean. read more

EXCELLENT! The salad with garganzola and pears was light and delicious. Eggplant parmesan was very good. Star of the meal... the toasted italian bread with dipping oil. The calamari was breaded lightly and delicious but just a bid chewy. Service was attentive and charming. Felt like I was transported from southwest Ga. Ill be back as often as possible. read more

I no longer live in Albany but my family does so when I went home two months ago, my parents immediately made reservations at Bianca's because it was all they talked about. I was VERY disappointed. To begin with, they didn't honor our reservations so we waited about 45 minutes. Then, the vibe in there is so cold and very New York circa 2008. The decor is incredibly outdated and it was so dark. They then had ONE SERVER for the ENTIRE restaurant but 25 food runners it seemed. And this was on a Friday night. I was told by said server that I couldn't order a glass of wine until I ordered my food. So I ordered and I had been dreaming of the steak & cheese sandwich since Garganos closed. I just wanted the sandwich. I didn't care about anything else. Then, I was told by the same server that sandwiches weren't on the menu that night so I couldn't order it. However, I look around, and almost every table had a sandwich. But he still told me no. So I ordered a side salad and tried to eat that bagged lettuce. It was such a bad experience and I couldn't wait to leave and never go back. Don't waste your time going. They have about 100 issues they need to fix. read more
