I really think MC Cain Windows is wonderful and I would highly recommend them. They are very customer service oriented which is why I am so surprised that they would recommend Boom Windows. Nobody answers the phone at this co. Apparently their employees think everyone is attached to their phones so they can call you on their schedule. I don't know about you but I am not allowed to walk around with a phone during working hours. I would get fired. This girl that called me has absolutely no customer service skills. It just so happened that I took the day off today. I answered the phone and thanked her for calling. She kept using the word explosion. I had no idea what she was talking about. I told her many times that I never had an explosion of any type at my home. I also told her that she must have me confused with someone else. She said she wanted to read me notes from an employee from 2919.I had no idea if this employee is even employed by this co. She said the word explosion again. I can honestly say I have never called this co. before. They never did any work for me nor did I have anyone to my house. Apparently their policy is that any employee can write anything about anyone and get away with it. There are so many scams today and an unstable individual is allowed to do this to a potential client. We all try to help small businesses but I find this appalling. I have no idea if there is a new owner or why this is allowed but this girl was out of touch with reality it how customer service operates. I personally will not do business that enforces a policy like this. I would think you would feel the same. She sets the tone. This is the first person you talk to. Would you want to do business with a co. that treats customers like this?

I decided, for the 6th time (to my wife's annoyance), to rearrange our living room. This time I…read morefinally succeeded with something we both liked. This left a large area between our fireplace and side wall, which was plenty of space for her to work on her dance routines and teach our daughter ballet. We decided the best use of the blank wall would be to put a large mirror on it and turn the space into a personal, convertible dance studio. I took some measurements, a couple of photos, and emailed them to GlassWorks's general email address. It was a Sunday, and John called back 15 minutes later with a total, including install. (My measurements and photos were pretty detailed, so I doubted the price would change in the end). My wife and I debated about actually moving forward with the project and finally called John back a couple of weeks later. He came over the next day to take a quick look, measure it himself, and confirm the pricing was solid. I called back the next day to pay the deposit and wait to schedule another measurement and marking by his install team. It took a little while to actually get those guys out here because they seem to be pretty busy. It was about 2 weeks before they actually came out. The guys who came out, Carlos and Jesus, were extremely nice and professional. You could tell they really took their time to make sure everything was measured correctly and in the right spot (nothing in our condo actually lines up or is centered). They left the tape on the wall to mark center in case different installers came out to do it. It took another couple of weeks for the shop to fabricate the mirrors with cutouts for our outlets, then the install was scheduled. Carlos and Jesus came back out to install it. There was a little imperfection on the center edge of one of the mirrors. Carols pointed it out to me and it took a minute for me to actually see what he was talking about. Whether or not I saw it didn't matter, because they were already taking the steps to correct it. All in all, the process took about 4 weeks from John coming out, to having the mirrors installed. The time frame took a little longer than I expected, but that's what happens when you work with a company that is consistently busy. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous, from Sandy who answers the phones to Rammell who schedules the crew, it was great working with the GlassWorks team. I highly recommend them.

I was impressed by Howard the salesman who knew his buisness and his glass. The installers were great. I looked at and talked with at least 4 other glass companys before deciding on them. Im glad I did. Its not often anymore that you contract with a company and have zero problems or complaints afterward. Go with these guys, you will be highly satisfied.
