Love that they have diapers, tampons, and pads in the bathroom!

Bias Brewing hit all the high spots for our group of five: crayons, colored pencils, and coloring sheets for the kid among us; soft pretzel bites with queso; nachos; taco salad; Hawaiian flatbread; butter noodles for kids; and great beer! The folks at Bias have made everything easy: - Order at the bar. They bring your food to you when it's ready. - There's plenty of seating: inside, outside (and both upstairs and downstairs). - The water station is conveniently located and to-go boxes are out so you can take one if you need it. The staff and patrons are friendly. A man behind me in line offered to sharpen the colored pencil my kid wanted to use with his pocket knife when the cashier told me they didn't have a pencil sharpener. I only wish Bias Brewing were closer to home!

    The Kolsch from Bias Brewing!

Bias Brewing was another brewery that I was thrilled to try on a recent trip to Montana. I had a lengthy list of breweries I wanted to make sure I had a chance to get some beer from and Bias was one of them. Steve and I tried two different beers from this brewery and they were very solid and of good quality! The first beer I had was the Jewel Basin IPA. This was a very refreshing IPA with it's hoppy, piney and malty flavors. The beer is smooth and bright. The other beer was the Kolsch which was equally solid and enjoyable. The flavors in this beer is a light, biscuity flavor with a crisp finish. Very typical characteristics of a Kolsch and perfect as the summer season rolls in with it's higher temps.

Bias Brewing in Kalispell, Montana is a fun and funky restaurant and a local hangout on Main Street in down town Kalispell. The menu ranges from bar food to flatbread and sandwiches but also includes bowls and a charcuterie boards. I ordered the Green Chili Chicken Rice Bowl which I thought was really great. It had just enough space from you. I even asked for the sweet Thai chili on the side, which balanced and finished off the bowl beautifully. And my food came out super fast. I was surprised. The guys who run the restaurant are awesome. They are super friendly and are happy to make recommendations and make your dining experience the best.

Good stop in this local brewery to taste their Pilsner and local beer. Their taco. Salad hit the spot. We met with Kyle Waterman a councilman who is running for reelection. He definitely has our vote of full endorsement. The food was really good and the atmosphere is super relax.

Best sour of the summer - Sundog! I could drink it all night! Great outdoor and rooftop space! Solid service! This is the sour to try this summer!

Bias Brewing is a locally owned and independent microbrewery, devoted to creating community through quality craft beer. Downtown Kalispell's family-friendly brewery where you can enjoy some craft beer, food and live music in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We happened to hear the music at the ice cream shop across from them! So, we had to go check them out! We really enjoyed the live music with our beer flight. Their outdoor patio area is big and open! Friendly customer service!

Loved coming here for a midday lunch during a busy workday. I had the hazy IPA and the chicken bowl with the peanut sauce and my bf had the ham sandwich. We took it upstairs to the terrace and enjoyed a lovely lunch with the city view. The food was good, nothing crazy but way better than what we were getting in the mountains so i was grateful haha. Vibes were immaculate tho. Cheers.

What a great place! We were staying in Logan's Lass Scoth Ale and the Fire 'n Irish Red Ale. Were favorites the bowl.

Arrived at 7:25 with simple hopes and even simpler needs: two drinks and one flatbread. I was told it'd take about 35 minutes. Fair enough--busy night, small kitchen, I can wait. 35 minutes later: no flatbread. Asked for an update: "Another 30 minutes." For ONE flatbread? Now I don't know what kind of culinary masterpiece I was expecting, but after an hour and thirty-five minutes, I was no longer hungry--I was spiritually exhausted. We asked for a refund, and to add insult to indigestion, they still charged us for the two sodas. (A refreshing way to lose $6.) And just as we were walking out, in a twist no one asked for, the elusive flatbread emerged. Dramatic timing--but not worth the wait. Imagine this: canned pineapple, cubed ham, and melty sadness on what can only be described as a large saltine cracker. A five-minute effort stretched into a feature-length film. Spoiler alert: it flopped. Bias Brewing may pour good beers (so I've heard), but when it comes to food service, they're serving delays with a side of disappointment.

Beer was really good, and server's are friendly and helpful. Nice beer selections and great flavors. Did a couple samplers. Oh Yeah Did not trying the food but looked good. Cool place to hang out with friends and enjoy beer and food.

Solid beers and atmosphere. They have happy hour pricing also which is cool. The deck in back had music, dogs and good weather.

Food was terrible. Gas station/microwave quality. Such a bummer because I like their beers but will not be coming back.

As a hophead I liked the Jewel Basin IPA paired with a pastrami sandwich.

Great Food Indoor and outdoor seating…read moreIncredible beer menu We made a stop here late in the day for some food and we were shocked how FANTASTIC the food was. Rarely do you find a spot that has great beer and great food, but Backslope does both But if you read my reviews, you know I like to steer you through the menu, at least what we tried. Foreman's Stout - full bodied, delicious. Ginger/Lemonade - refreshing, sooooo GOOD. House Fries - sliced as chips, but so good. Hummus - great consistency, but needed some citrus to finish it off. Still good, but I am picky about hummus. Tzatziki sauce - incredible, delicious, get this. Pecan Salad with Chicken - HOLY SMOKES, my wife loved this dish. She made me come back another time just so she vould have it again. Gyro Platter - light on the chicken, but really delicious. It was enough for two or more meals. Gyro - so full I could not fit it into my mouth. But enough for two. Really great find,

Five years ago I met the owner of Back Slope Brewery at a beer tasting in western Montana. That…read moreconversation convinced me to make the trip to Columbia Falls to visit the brewery, and I'm glad I did. What I discovered wasn't just excellent craft beer--it was some of the most memorable brewery food I've ever had. Back Slope took ordinary menu items and turned them into something extraordinary. The pulled pork sandwich and fried chicken sandwich were simply exceptional. The chicken was hand-cut, brined in pickle juice, carefully breaded, and fried to a perfect golden crust. The sauce brought everything together perfectly. Those sandwiches weren't just good--they were the reason I looked forward to returning. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit I discovered that both signature sandwiches are gone. The pulled pork sandwich has been removed from the menu, and the fried chicken has been replaced with commercially prepared chicken. We ordered other menu items, and while they were perfectly acceptable, they lacked the creativity and quality that made Back Slope feel special. What was once an unforgettable dining experience has become, in my opinion, just another brewery with decent food. The service, however, remains excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and greeted us with a genuine smile, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I understand that restaurants evolve and sometimes difficult business decisions have to be made. Still, it's disappointing when the very dishes that set a place apart disappear. Back Slope still has good beer and great service, but the unique culinary experience that once made it worth going out of my way to visit no longer seems to be there. I sincerely hope they consider bringing those signature sandwiches back, because they were truly something special.
