We were intrigued by a winery that was in Montana so we had to stop! To our surprise we enjoyed every wine that we had on our flight. Now I have read some reviews with the pretentious tone of "it's not California wine", well... no dah!! You're in Montana! When we visit wineries in different parts of the country, don't expect it to be like some other place where the elevation, soil and environment is different. In stead, ask what they can grow? What does well and why. Will was fantastic and quite frankly why I would return. His knowledge and background, helped us gain a better understanding about the grapes and what was being presented. Will understands customer service and building relationships. This winery will do very well by being themselves and not conforming to people's uneducated pallet comments. We were visiting Montana with family to see Glacier NP and other cool stuff in the area, this has a great location right off of the highway. Being from a wine county in California we were certainly looking forward to trying Montana wine. This is a great stop or hang out, they have events every week and stay open pretty late. It was exciting to our daughter to see all of the animals on the wall and see the bear skins. The woman who was the host was super friendly and very informative. We did a couple of wine flights to make sure we tasted a wide spread of their wines, from the Montana wines to the wines from the other states. Wine style was different from what we are used to, but pleasant nonetheless. I was expecting some to be a bit sweeter, but thankfully they were pretty dry. We ended up buying a couple of bottles to bring back with us. I wish we had bought more as their Marquette has really grown on me. read more

Enjoyed wine tasting today. Had five 1-ounce pours of locally made wine. Most of the wines tasted were from grapes sourced from California, Washington, and Montana. The Marquette, using Montana grown grapes was pretty good. Ambiance was nice and was a hunting lodge meets winery sort of motif. Service was great. I recommend stopping by to taste and buy a bottle or more to take home. read more

We stumbled upon this little winery while driving to whitefish and stopped in to check it out. The wine maker was there personally and chatted with us for a while. Him and the staff were extremely night, knowledgeable and helpful. They do a tasting with 5, 1 ouch pours with a selection of there wines and other local wines from both Montana and California. They have a charcuterie tray that is packaged in the morning with a lot of different options. They benefit of this was that we didn't have to wait long and we're able to try lots of different things. Our personal favorites were the blueberry cobbler cheddar and the huckleberry preserves cream cheese. The crackers and chocolate were packaged separate so my gluten free friends are safe eating this cheese platter as the staff said there was no cross contamination. The inside had high top tables while the outside is more camping style with picnic tables, a fire pit and GORGEOUS view. If it wasn't 95 degrees out, we would have been outside without a doubt to enjoy the view. We really enjoyed the selection of wines and went home with a bottle of the blend. We will definitely be returning to this gem. read more

We stopped in to try a couple of the Montana wines and they were very nice! A tasting flight was 5 one-ounce pours for $10, and you select the wines you'd like included from an extensive list - from sweet huckleberry wine to off dry rose or fuller-bodied Malbec or Zin, there's something for everybody. While we were there the place was populated by locals stopping in and many ordered the charcuterie boards to go with their wine. Others brought BBQ in from the food truck outside. Seating included bar stools, table seating and a couple of comfortable couches. A sweet stopover. read more

What a hidden gem. Came from Phoenix AZ to spend a week in the Kalispell Area. The hospitality and atmosphere was something to experience but the wine was to die for and will have us returning. Kudos to Paul(the owners father) who gave us a warm welcome and knowledge you can't pay for. read more
