I was excited to try Sunrift, really. But whoo boy, it did not deliver. We came in through the backside, which I hate as an option because it feels like you snuck in and the staff don't see you waiting and it's just awkward. Speaking of staff, not the friendliest bunch; not outright mean or anything, but it wasn't warm service and my party had just visited another tap room on the way over and those folks made us feel right at home. Not so at Sunrift, though. The beer is just okay. Nothing to really write home about by any means. The Chislic was good--though it wasn't much of a garlic butter sauce so much as a bunch of chopped garlic with a bit of butter. Excellent cook on the beef though. The real sticker though? This is a place with really pro-LEO vibes and if for whatever reason that isn't your cup of tea and you wish you'd read that somewhere beforehand? Now you know. I wish I had--it would've influenced my decision to spend my money here. I'm not a local and I can't imagine I'll find myself back at Sunrift, but maybe it's for you?

This location has lots of parking options. There is a small lot in front, mall parking or the bigger lot across the street. The service is really good. You do go up to the bar to order drinks or food but they will deliver the food to your table. We didn't wait long for our food to arrive. They were super friendly and patient as my friend sampled a few different beers before selecting one. There is a covered patio and non covered patio options as well as indoor seating. It definitely has a chill vibe if you want to hang out for a while.

The food and service is wonderful here! We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and it was the perfect place to have a break. We sat in Andi's section and she was very nice. The man who brought the food from the kitchen was very friendly too. Great spot! Check it out

Good Beer, Good Food, Good People, Good Ambience. Visit #1: I only tried the stout, but it was good! Great on a cold Winter day! Unfortunately I was supposed to meet my friends at Bias Brewing, so I stopped there...luckily the waitress forgave me with a smile. Visit #2: Came in for a quick lunch before my flight...the $14 Tri Tip sandwich is AWESOME! I paid the extra $5 to double the meat, and it was the best financial decision I made this year! The tri tip cuts were thick, meaty, juicy, delightfully seasoned, and cooked perfectly, so tender! The creamy mac n cheese made for a perfect fatty side dish. The Happy Hour looks excellent as well, hope to catch that next time I'm in town.

Excellent setting and ambience. Plenty to see and comfortably appointed. Great service and seating and served quickly. The nachos are the bomb though! So delicious. Would definitely come again.

Came in on vacation, chose this place because it offered beer and wine. I love visiting breweries. They have an amazing beer that called hefty nutz. It was delicious. Also had some good tri tip with garlic butter. My friend got chicken nachos, a very heavy amount of chicken on it.

Neat place with good beer and food. My wife enjoyed the Soul Gravy Stout from the restaurant, while I went next door for the Sun Down Honey Brown. We both had the tri tip steak sandwich. Mine with Mac and cheese, while my wife had fries. The gravy might've been better as more of an au jus sauce, but everything was good overall, and service was friendly and prompt at both locations.

Mac and cheese with buffalo sauce bacon and crispy chicken. BOOM! The bomb.com. So good.

This stuff is so good. Mac and cheese at 10AM on Easter. That's how good these guys are. Megan is the best!

Love this brewery! The food was amazing and the beer as well. I had the tri tip wrap with the broccoli. The tri tip is the best. Everyone should get that. I enjoyed the coconut beer and tangerine beer. All the staff are very nice. If you come here on a Sunday for brunch be prepared for a small wait.

Tri tip sandwich with extra meat and fabulous onion rings. Just fabulous!

For Flathead I had their Centennial IPA which I really liked a lot. I can get burned out on IPA'S pretty easily as they are everywhere but this summer (summer of 2025) I have had a hankering for IPA'S off and on. The Centennial proves to be a refreshing one for me the few times I have had it and firs the bill quite well for that occasional IPA hankering I've been having. Flavor highlights in this beer are hoppy, malty, floral and sweet (naturally sweet tasting). It's a very well balanced IPA with these features. The beer is also smooth in body. I look forward to returning as Steve and I are bound to pass through the area again but more for the purpose of sightseeing on that trip.

We stopped in at The Tiki Bar at The Boat Club after a long hike at Whitefish Mountain. We walked up to the hostess and even though there were tables available, she said nothing was available at the time. No problem. We thought perhaps they were short staffed but noticed they had several servers standing around. Perhaps it was our shorts and hiking shoes? After all, everyone else was dressed to impress in their swimsuits and coverups. It wouldn't be a big deal but she sat several people that walked up behind us at those tables. No, they didn't have reservations. Okay.... We saw there was couch seating available just outside the hostess stand and asked to sit there and she said yes. It was actually the perfect spot. In the shade and a beautiful view of the boat marina and Whitefish Lake. Our server was Ainsley who was very sweet and an excellent server. She made drink and appetizer recommendations. Ainsley was very friendly, engaging and never left us waiting. We started with the Tiki Punch, which is the popular cocktail on the menu as well as the Full Send which is a rum and espresso cocktail. Both were delicious but $15 for a small cocktail is too much. For appetizers we ordered Mezze Platter and charcuterie board. Again, both were tasty.
