I had to reach out on Instagram to contact her and get an updated phone number. I then started reaching out to her via text for the follow up appointment, she kept telling me she was busy and try back next week. It is now December and I still don't have a follow up appointment. She continues to give me the runaround she could just say she's not going to complete it and let me go to somebody else, but she's been stringing me along for the last four or five months. I would not go to this woman for anything. I paid for her initial fee and tipped her very well and I feel completely disregarded by her. She is not a good business owner, she's not invested in her clients and she did a terrible job on my eyebrows, I have sent her pictures showing her that I needed follow up. I'm so glad she has packed up and left Fishtown. I would not schedule new client appointments with her. She is a negligent business owner and did not do a good job on my brows.

Prior to finding Majestic, I had done both gel and acrylic, but I've since switched to dip with Gel Designs, which is what Lina specializes in. I'm not even currently in the office, and all of my colleagues want to see my nails whenever we hop on zoom meetings. Lina is such a sweetheart and I genuinely enjoy my appointments with her. I always make sure to let her know what I'm looking for prior to the appointment just so she can be prepared with colors, supplies, and appropriate time and whatnot. I barely have any lashes so getting these extensions have been such a game changer. I get so many compliments and my daily routine is now 5 mins or less which is amazing for my hectic life. The prices are competitive but I am a true believer of you get what you pay for. My extensions will last me 3-4 weeks. I work with Aimiee and Kelly, both who are great at their craft and truly take the time to listen to what you want. Not only are they concern with how glam your lashes are, they take particular care to the health of your lashes. There was no shape and no volume; I could do (and have done) a better job on myself, in the dark with manicure scissors. They comped the whole experience, most likely so I wouldn't write this review. Three hours later I found another salon to give me a pixie. The rescue stylist confirmed that Irene's hack job was every bit as bad as I thought. I now have MUCH shorter hair than I wanted, but at least it looks intentional.

Irene understands hair, listens, is great with feedback, talks you through the process and is overall a great conversationalist. I enjoyed some wine as we chatted about what my hair goals were and she absolutely gave me the haircut and color I asked for. I waited a couple of days post cut to report back on my experience to see how it was after I washed it- it's absolutely perfect, the hair cut, the color - I'm in love with how I look, I feel like we brought back my natural color in a dynamic way and the cut is easy to style. What was really genuine was Irene's candor about the process. She told me if I had any issues in a few days to let her know and we'd work it out. That is a true artist and stylist. I highly recommend Irene. The space is also really beautiful at Plume, one of the nicest salon bathrooms I've ever seen. I felt welcomed and really enjoyed my experience.
