I found The Lash Boutique a year ago. I didn't think it was possible to keep up with lashes this long, but Yairi keeps me going in a sustainable way :) My own lashes are short and straight and not-that-abundant. I am addicted to the look of lashes, and also addicted to not having to mess with mascara, ever. The trick is not ruining what the power/s that be gave you. Every two weeks, Yairi is there for me, giving me full and wowie natural-looking lashes, without destroying what is naturally there. Plus, she is fun and sweet and hanging out with her for 45 minutes every other week is a joy! I have been with Sharon for 2.5 years and am still very pleased. I constantly get compliments on my lashes and questions on who I go to. If you're flirting with the idea of getting lash extension, I hope you find your way to the Lash Boutique in Queen Village. A key point I didn't include in my original review is parking: I have never (in 2+ years) *not* found a parking spot on the same block as the salon. I think this is part of why I have been consistent with my appointments. I don't think I could go somewhere that wasn't convenient to my work schedule and her location is a huge plus. Pro tip: I pay for parking via the MeterUp app and always block the full 2 hours for peace of mind but then end my session when I am done and it only charges you for total time parked. read more

I never had lash extensions done before I met Sharon. I found her on Instagram and decided to make an appointment with her because I'm wanted my lashes done for my birthday weekend. She was very welcoming and helpful. I wasn't sure which lash set will go well for my eye shape and she suggested I start off with the classic/hybrid doll eye. I loved how the doll eye opened up my eyes and made me look more awake! The whole process took 2 hours but it honestly felt so quick. The extensions lasted for 3 weeks before I came back to her and got a refill. During those 3 weeks, I only wore eyeliner 3x and I made sure to take care of my lashes with the care instructions that Sharon provided. My second visit with her, she gave me hybrid doll eye refills. It took about 2 hours as well. I love how thick my lashes look and it's not necessary to wear eyeliner with these set because my lashes already look so dark and thick! If you are someone that is all about convenience or you're too lazy to get ready in the morning, I'd highly recommended getting your lashes done! It takes me less than 10 minutes to apply my makeup on in the morning! Sharon really listens to what her clients and is very meticulous about how her lashes look on her clients. She does such an amazing job, she really takes her time and pays attention to details and gets every bit of my thin, Asian lashes. She also explains what she's doing and gives great recommendations on what she thinks would look best for your eyes. Sharon is the sweetest and definitely makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Book with THAO! Thao is THE best! She made my first experience with lash extensions wonderful. I felt so welcome and comfortable that I fell asleep while she did it lol. She addressed my concerns and we coordinate together the perfect length and volume for my small non symmetrical Asian eyes. I was worried about my own natural lash not being able to handle extensions but my retention lasted quite nicely in my crazy work environment sweating dealing with food and nightlife. It was a sigh of relief to wake up and leave the house only needing to brush my lashes since they were done, I was already put together. Saved me some time rushing to wait for lash glue to dry on fake strip lashes while running late to work. I get nervous trusting anyone new cutting my hair, doing my nails, etc but rest assured, Thao puts a lot of time and dedication to getting you the perfect look you want to achieve even going into her lunch breaks sometimes. At this point, I've been to her many times for refills since then. I even had a bald spot at one point from lash growth(or maybe I ripped it out by accident sorry Thao if you're reading this) that she covered so well no one could even tell. Flawless.
