I ordered: Service was great, this was my first time here and the employees are so nice on explaining their menu and their favorite dishes. Spicy pork bowl- as is, it was packed with flavor and loaded with veggies. Everything tasted great. I also loved that they offer complimentary miso soup which is such a nice touch. Out with moms shopping and what do we have " a new" restaurant lol. It's been here for a while but I didn't have time to stop but today i did. I liked the open concept a lot of light beaming through the dining area with soft music that created a vibe for this Saturday. The guy asked us if we needed recommendations that was helpful but I ended up with the 12 piece (6 yangnum/6 Fire chicken ). When I got my order the flavors were good but the actual chicken was cold so I sent it back. The next batch was very good. Bibimbox Korean kitchen has been on my radar since opening last year. They have a great selection of boba and a few Korean staples I've come to love. From Korean fried chicken to bibimbap and tteokbokki and the main desserts this place has a nice variety. They even offer hibachi bowls here and have some great dessert options. They have a self ordering kiosk as well as a register if you want human interaction- what I love about the kiosk is you're not holding up the line and can look through the menu. This place was clean and they ordering was efficient with the wait not being too bad either. I went with the bibimbap bowl that came with bulgogi and I loved it, I ordered a mango milk tea with it and added boba ( now the boba was not very good it was hard like it was either undercooked or sitting too long) but everything else I loved. My family all opted for the Korean friend chicken and different drinks an we're all impressed. We had to order some bingsu for dessert which is their version of shave ice and it was magical. All in all if you have not tried Korean food this is a good first introduction, prices are fair and the place is clean with good customer service . read more

I got the spicy pork belly bowl that comes with spinach, mushrooms, carrots, and bean sprouts. Vegetables were fresh and pork was very tasty. At first I thought the vegetables would have been nice to have some seasoning but after mixing it up with the pork, rice, and aioli I thought they were perfect the way they were. Husband got the bulgogi bowl and it came with same vegetables but different sauce and a fried egg. He thought it was very good as well...I thought mine was better.. We also got the 6 piece fried chicken in the fire chicken flavor and it is spicy....dont get this flavor if you cant handle hot!! I thought it was perfection and very crispy. I was excited to see Columbia got a new, modern Korean restaurant especially around such a busy area. The inside was very cute and service was very friendly. My food came out fairly quickly after I ordered. I got the spicy pork belly bowl and it came loaded with toppings and sauce. They also offer free miso soup! The bowl wasn't bad, although I'd say overall, it was on the bland side. The pork belly wasn't really spicy and there wasn't much outstanding flavor. I liked all the different veggies, but you definitely need to eat it with sauce. I also got a milk tea with boba and a taiyaki (dessert cafe in the same restaurant). The milk tea was decent, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the taiyaki was too bready and just didn't have the crisp you want from typical taiyaki. None of the food really stood out to me, but I'd still love to come back and try the Korean fried chicken or the tteokboki. Maybe I just got the wrong menu items. They have enough variety where I think it's worth coming to give it a shot! read more

This place is so refreshing. We have gone twice and it's worth every penny! There's 2 options for ordering in the store. You can go to the counter which was our preferred choice. Or you can go to the huge order screens and order. I enjoyed the customer service given when at the counter. Both times the person who waited on us explained the menu to us throughly and made the experience enjoyable. I had the fresh bowl as it was with chicken bulgogi. My wife had the beef bulgogi and created her own bowl. We had an order of the fried chicken wings. We also had a side of kimchi. I went solely for the strawberry matcha soft serve, so I can't speak for the other foods but can vouch that it's creamy, mildly sweet, full of flavor, and delicious! It comes with two free toppings, but I didn't want any. Reminds me of the soft serves I've had in Japan. Better than McFlurry and actually cheaper too! Finally made it to bimbibox! The restaurant has a nice open seating concept. There's a dessert station I can get soft served or taiyaki, you can place your order on the ordering kiosk or you can place it with an employee at the counter. Customer service is a 10 out of 10 everyone is attentive and willing to help you understand the menu. They also have complementary miso soup which was delicious. The soy garlic wings are absolutely phenomenal. They had a nice crunch and a nice sweet umami flavor. I also got a rose lemonade, which was delicious. We also got a kids build your own bowl and it did not disappoint and we got the rose rice noodle dish and the sauce on that is a 10 out of 10. We also took advantage of the cute photo booth. The owners are of the successful local KBBQ chain called Kpot, so they have a lot of experience with Korean cuisine. They created the menu from scratch, incorporating a unique twist to the traditional dishes like bibimbap, which turned out really good. Their menu is diverse as you have entrees from bibimbap and the option to build your own, choices of Korean fried chicken, appetizer options like dumplings or tteokbokki and dessert options like the traditional bingsu (shaved ice) or teas. For my first visit, I ordered a custom bibimbap. I got the hibachi chicken which uses breast meat, so it was very tender with sides of greens and the bibimbox sauce. I also got the vegetable and pork dumplings with tteokbokki, both which were fantastic. Cant forget dessert! Though they had various flavor options, the traditional flavor comes with red bean, so I went with that. The cups are fairly small, great for single portions rather than sharing a large bowl like some places serve bingsu. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants to dine or take out at. The food isn't expensive at all and the quality you get for the price can't be beat. As I said if you enjoy Korean food or places like KPOT, you'll definitely enjoy this place. TLDR: good food and atmosphere Just heard this place opened yesterday so I gave it a whirl. Thought it would've been smaller but was surprised how big the space was. Pretty straight forward menu if you're not familiar with Korean dishes. Ordered fire chicken wings and fried chicken bowl and took about 15 mins to arrive. Fire chicken was that sticky sauce you're familiar with Korean style wings but after 2-3 wings was actually feeling the heat. Then onto the chicken bowl that gave me cava vibes: Fresh veggies, plump chicken with crispy fried breading over fluffy rice. There was a bit of kimchi on there too and it's an acquired taste, one I haven't acquired yet but I did taste a bit to say I did. I don't know how but I saved some room for dessert and the lady at the counter definitely educated me on the different soft serve combination so I went with a mango vanilla swirl with the custard fish pastry ( they told me what it was I forgot ) and this was the only thing that fell flat. Pastry fish was warm and soft but still had that crisp outer shell to it but the soft serve had a not sweet but trying to be I just couldn't get jiggy with so I only had a couple of bites after the pastry fish was gone. Overall good food, atmosphere and experience that I'll be looking to have again soon. read more

We got a matcha and ube soft serve and the original bingsu. The bingsu is absolutely delicious - perfectly icy and sweet with mochi pieces, crispy rice puffs, and fresh strawberries. The bibimbox pork belly bowl was flavorful and ingredients tasted fresh. The pork belly was sliced thinly like bacon, which i really liked. There was a lot of rice in the bowl, red sauce was good too, reminiscent of gochuchang with a noticeable sesame oil overtone. Will definitely go back to try more menu items and especially their desserts. The peach iced drink was good and I liked that I could control how sweet it was. The food and drinks came out quickly, and it's sort of cafeteria style so there's a lot of seating. I know I've seen a lot of people say it's very expensive, but I eat across a lot of Asian restaurants and the price was very typical for what I've personally experienced for two people. It may be expensive for some though, and I do recommend checking it out online before you go. Also order your dessert after your main.
