We came here after a long night of shopping with the girls. My friend had been here before and was excited to come back. The inside was decorated so beautifully and the ambiance was calming. The seating reminded me of German at an actually brewery so it was cool to see. My young daughter was with us and I was wondering it this was that kind of place and she fit right in. We were quickly greeted and my daughter ordered food and a drink and within minutes the server was out with it all. I was so wowed with how quickly she was able to get her order in and out to us. I would expect a salad with grilled chicken to have sliced raw or preferably par boiled Brussels sprouts. Very disappointed. The vinegarette dressing is delicious! We ordered the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, the sirloin steak, and 2 apps, the Scotch eggs and the cauliflower. The cauliflower was supposed to be tossed in garlic Parmesan, I could not taste any flavor on them. The Scotch eggs were good but the honey mustard was a little overdone (see picture). My steak was supposed to be medium and I said if it came out medium rare, that would be okay too. It came out well-done. My friend wasn't wild about the chicken. The table next to us supposedly had the chicken and it sorta looked like battered fish so that's what he was expecting. He also didn't like getting dark meat. Maybe we got bad info from the waitress? The macaroni side was generous but had no cheesiness to it, no pull, no heartiness, and needed salt. Garlic mashed potatoes were good. We felt it was overall just okay. Overall rating: 4.9 OMG the wings here are soooooo good. I'm still thinking about them and I wasn't sure about the espresso martini since it came from a machine. But it is also so delicious! I get it you are suppose to eat the chicken, waffle and eggs all together but it's just a little weird to me but it is still decent I just try my best to pull the cheese off the waffle lol. I have been here on several occasions. Have never had a bad experience or bad food. The place is always busy. Servers are top notch, efficient and pleasant. Although I'm not a breakfast person I gladly go here for the Reuben omelette. Never had one before but I think this is possibly the best ever. My husband had the morning sunshine brunch bowl and said it was delicious. You can also build your own bowl . I am a bar burger person and this place is out of this world good. My favorite is the Avo-Aioli burger. Shrimp tacos are to die for. You can't go wrong whether you are going to eat or just have a few drinks with friends or even an office celebration party this is the place that has something for everyone. My family and I had dinner here the other night, and were expecting a much different menu since they have a German-ish name. There's only (1) item in the menu that's German; it was chili. The rest of the menu is subpar bar food. The prices are expensive for the quality of food you receive. Also, we weren't impressed with the beer or drink menu. We had a great experience here for Sunday brunch. The staff was awesome and the interior was super clean and inviting. The prices are also very reasonable and you can expect to pay about $30 for two people for brunch. We got iced tea to drink but obviously if you get some of the more expensive alcoholic drinks your tab could be a little higher. For my meal I had the morning sunshine bowl and it was fantastic. It has grilled chicken, hashbrowns, fresh mozzarella, avocado, and a delicious green tomatillo sauce. My wife did I make your own omelette and she was very happy with her meal as well. Nice beer,,, not my type of scene or people I want to be around. I don't enjoy being surrounded by people who wear real tree to go out. I heard from the next table talking about guns and holsters and compartments in their giant pick up trucks. Yea no,, I don't care what they say. The waitresses here are rude as ever. I waited for over 10 minutes to receive a water so I went up to someone and said, "hello, not sure who my waitress is, can I please get a water?" She explained that it was her and she was having credit card issues. Totally get it but don't get rude and snappy and make the rest of your tables wait. I've been coming to Bierhaven a while, And sadly last nights service and the food left me very disgruntled So, I bought a 9$ glass of wine, and upon trying it found it abhorrent. My wife and I asked our waitress for some samples so I wouldn't repeat the mistake, she gave her the samples, and gave me a single one and attempted to refuse further samples. I've been here plenty and ever once have I had that happen, how on earth am I expected to buy multiple glasses of wine and possibly waste them cause my waitress refuses samples?? Don't expect your waitress to introduce herself, and if you want recommendations on anything from beer to wine, you're out of luck, I've had the unfortunate experience of asking multiple times on multiple different visits for recommendations, and I usually get outright refusals or vague surface level answers read more

First time at the place. The Scottish Balls were some of the best I've ever had. The nachos were about perfect too. I ordered an avocado aioli burger that was good, but didn't excite me. All the food was noticeably fresh and made to order. All the food that was walked past my table looked very good as well. My only complaint, the first 3 beers I ordered off their draft list were not available. I found it annoying and a little irritating, but it wasn't the end of the world. There is good tv placement for games and good music. I would definitely come back again with the hopes their beer list is available and I'd order something other than a burger. Great atmosphere for a great bar-restaurant Our party arrived at 10 on Saturday and the restaurant was alive. We were seated on arrival and scored a first round within a minute. Initially I decided on a appetizer, scratched that the minute I seen the kitchen was open. Bierhaven has a full menu to choose from. I went with the Salmon; two sides being bacon green beans & mac n cheese. My friend loves steak so he tested the steak bowl. Our second round of drinks were delivered before ours hit the bottom. Shannon was our server: super attentive, and a elite multitasker. The Steak ? Cooked and seasoned to perfection. The bottom of the bowl was homemade mashed potatoes. The red peppers are cut long, if you want diced, ask beforehand. Salmon was fresh and the chef added a lemon cut to the top for more flavor. Green beans tasted homemade and loved the added crisps of the bacon to break up the palate. Mac n cheese, I'm hard foodie to please. I really loved the noodles but I wanted it drownin in cheese. Our favorite beer of the night was in the browns & reds: Spateen Optimator. The beer was full bodied with a perfect flavor. Had a great first experience and met the owners in the process. So glad we finally tried Bierhaven! We had the corned beef and grilled chicken sandwiches. Both were amazing, but I was blown away by the corned beef. Best I've ever had. We ordered carry out over the phone and it was ready very quickly for sounding so busy. The food was nicely packed and ready to go when we got there. The one thing I would recommend is getting an updated menu on Yelp. When we placed the order, we were told there is no longer the sweet potato bowl so I had to make a back up choice really quick. read more

I am not one to ever complain or leave reviews at places but this was unacceptable. The owner of this establishment is incredibly rude. I went to brunch at Bierhaven today and will NEVER return. My and my party of 6 ordered and waited over an hour for our food (which is not the end of the world given that it's a Sunday and the restaurant was a bit busy). My food (fajita bowl) did not come out, and my friends order was incorrect. My friend took a bite of her food and realized it was not what she ordered, informed the waitress of this. Our waitress Amber was told she took a bite and realized that it was not her order, took the food back, removed the eggs from the top of the bowl, then brought it back out and attempted to give it to me. I very clearly stated "No, that meal was eaten out of by another person, so I do not want to eat that." To me, it is absolutely unacceptable to try to re-serve food that was eaten out of and brought back into the kitchen. This is completely unsanitary. Eventually (about 20 mins later) we got our correct orders brought back out. Once we got our bill, I was absolutely SHOCKED that there was not a discount applied. I asked Amber if she could take the bowl off my bill due to our experience and she said that she would get the manager. The manager/owner/chef then came out and said that he couldn't take anything off my bill since I ate out of the new bowl they delivered to me. Obviously I was going to eat the remade bowl, as I had been in the restaurant for over an hour and a half. He said "I sent back the bowl and would never give food that was eaten out of," which was literally a situation that had just occurred. This man was extremely rude to me, stating that I was wrong and should not eat anything if I wanted it taken off the bill. As the owner to an establishment, I do not understand how you can possibly allow a customer to have an experience like that. As somebody who works in customer service myself, I would expect at least human decency and an apology. Instead of owning up to a mistake, this man and his waitress were extremely defensive and rude my table. On top of that, multiple people in our party did not receive their sides and were given food that was cold (which we did not mention to the staff, as it seemed irrelevant after being served food that had been eaten by another person). Even if you didn't want to take the meal off the bill, there's no need to be rude about it to anybody, let alone a girl who is clearly very nervous to speak up about her complaints. Once again, I am not a person to ever complain, as I HATE confrontation but this was unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to anybody. So my husband and I went to dinner with another couple. The waitress mixed up the credit cards and charged our bill on their card and their bill on our card. She voided them off and re-ran them correctly. Unfortunately when they ran they for the tip they again put the other couple's charge on my card. I have literally spoke to three different managers who have taken my information and said they would pass it on to one of the owners. I've also left 3 messages on their voicemail. This happened February 18 and today is March 1. No one has contacted me yet! They just don't care, they got their money. $90 isn't a lot of money to them but it is to me and I won't go back. First time here this past Saturday evening. Location is a little weird but I guess you have to go with what is available.Showed up around 6:15. Place was hopping. Got seated pretty quickly. Might remind you of a bavarian beer hall as some of the seating is more or less family style. Noise level is a little high but we could still have a conversation. We started with a meat and cheese tray and ordered a walleye dinner with balsamic glazed sweet potatoes and a corned beef sandwich with house made chips. Meet and cheese tray was very good with 3 kinds of cheese, pickled veggies, 3 kinds of meat, those little round red and green peppers, and assorted crackers. Big enough for 2 or 3. The walleye dinner had two lightly battered fillets and two sides. The Caesar salad was a nice size and had crisp romaine lettuce. The sweet potatoes were small cubes and were drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Very tasty but could have used some more glaze. The corned beef sandwich was VERY good. Extremely tender, thick cut Wigleys corned beef, Gruyere cheese, and dijonaisse on a everything bun. OUTSTANDING! House chips very good. Jeff Mueller, the manager on duty, was very friendly and happy to help with questions. He made sure to come by and ask how the dinner was and did we have any suggestions or concerns. If I had one negative it would be that sitting on a hard bench for 2 hours is a pain in the ....
