This is a hard review to write. I love this location, the aesthetic is pretty cool, it's on the water, the vibe is pleasant enough.... The dishes are great for presenting food and loved the logo on the wine glasses... However... Our service was mediocre at best; but I did see a couple other waitstaff that seemed very on top of their game and they were very attentive to their tables. So that was good to see. We sat over an hour before our food was brought to the table (they were not busy at all). After about 70 minutes we were provided some rolls with honey butter and a cherry "jam" - it was more like minced up cherry - and that was the best thing we ate! They should bottle that up and sell it! Normally you have to pay for the bread, but since we were waiting so long the manager gifted it to us. The lobster mac n' cheese was ranked 4 out 5. It was creamy and had good flavor with a decent amount of lobster. The chips of the fish and chips dish were a 10/10. Perfectly crisped and seasoned. The fish, nothing to write home about. A very not picky eater rated the fish a 2 out of 5. It looked overcooked to me. The gnocchi itself was like gnocchi should be, there was SO much pistachio pesto that it overwhelmed all other flavors in the dish. If I were to order it again I would ask for half the pesto amount. I'm really hoping the complimentary birthday cheesecake they brought out was not the full size dessert. It was very small, but it was very tasty. It was brûléed on top, had a sugar cookie style crust, and had a few berries and a compote. I know they haven't been open but a few months; I also know they are experienced restaurant owners and can do better. Not sure we will back any time soon - perhaps next summer to see how things are going. If you go, don't be in a hurry and you should probably order the bread!

Fun Memorial Day experience. Sydney was our server and made a great first impression. Our cod sandwich and parm fires were messy but superb. Also got hot chicken and mashed potatoes. I'd order both again. Mixed drinks $13 each. Delicious and mine had gold sparkle! Great to sit in the sun, or shade, right on the water.

Went for the Stone Crab weekend and it did not disappoint 4 really large claws, drawn butter and a choice of lemon, lime or even a remoulad sauce if you choose. The sides are potatoes au gratin and the flavor was put of this world and a cranes spinach packed with flavor. Great service and attention to detail. I need this again.

We had company from out of town and were trying to figure out the best place to go on a Friday afternoon for an early dinner/late lunch. All of a sudden it came to me a new place I had never been but wanted to try. Latitude. This is the old Portofino in Wyandotte on Biddle. Best decision I could've made. The day was beautiful, and the restaurant was the biggest hit of all. We started out with three shareables. The first one was Burrata Cheese, my absolute favorite. My only suggestion would be to add a little more of the delicious bread (which they did bring more when I asked, but we were also charged extra) and cut it all the way through. Next was the whitefish dip. Our son loved that one the best. It was delicious and would have been my favorite if I hadn't tasted the Burrata cheese. Lastly, was the calamari and shrimp. While I am not a big breaded and fried person, I did taste it and the calamari was cooked to perfection not chewy at all. The dip was absolutely delicious. Any one of the three is a hit in my opinion. For the entrée, my daughter-in-law and I shared a Michigan salad. The arugula could have been in smaller pieces but the taste was good. I don't think I would order it as a main course again though. Our son had the double cheeseburger and Rosemary french fries. Both were delicious and not only tasted good, but the presentation was very appetizing as well. My husband had the lobster mac & cheese. While he is not a big lobster person he did love the mac & cheese. He gave us the lobster which was very good. Luckily I saved room for dessert. I have to say that latitudes has the absolute best Keylime pie I've ever had. Even better than I've had in Key West. My daughter-in-law and I share the opinion "it was perfection". All in all I can't wait to go back again. The view is absolutely beautiful. The staff was great and accommodating. I also saw two steel drums in the corner, which I can't wait to hear. our guest loved the place and said they would go back again. The bill was very reasonable and I definitely recommend latitudes restaurant and grill.

The old sushi menu was pretty decent. But the new one is so much better! Especially the Salmon lemon roll!

The service is exceptional! One of the reasons for the 4 stars is our server Shelby went out of her way to make our visit very pleasant. The hostess was very friendly and promptly seated us on the deck. The amazing water views are incredible. (Outside seating is a must on a warm summer evening.) The Sushi tacos are a real treat, they are unique and a great starter with your favorite cocktail. Only open a few weeks and worth checking out. Gotta give them a chance to get through the start up phase.

So keep in mind that there always seems to be a theme. And I wouldn't say the popup thing is all that great. Once it seemed like they just printed images on a printer and taped them to the wall. They highly recommend reservations and I totally get that. However, I came in once because I was in the area and didn't have a reservation but thought I would see about getting a table anyhow. When I came in I was literally the only person there and when I said I didn't have a reservation, the girl acted like I was a bother. She did seat me in likely the most awkward spot you could think of, but the entire time I was there exactly one additional table came in. At least an hour, maybe a little more. So why could I have not had a more reasonable location to sit? And for staff, other than one hostess one time I've been there, all staff have acted annoyed to be there. The food has been good each time I've been there, but no point in mentioning it since it changes all the time. I think there's a few things that stay menu to menu, but I didn't have any of those. At least not that I'm aware of. The names are all part of the theme as well so it could be hard to tell. Drinks here are tiny and expensive. Also on theme again with whatever the popup is. They go very light on the alcohol so I do not feel like I'm getting my value with the drinks. And another thing is they give you the tiniest glass of water. Three sips and you have to ask for more. I guess that's to get you to buy more drinks? Desserts have been exceptional. That's keeping it at 3 stars and not down to 2. Again they seem different each time so no point in going over any of them.

My husband didn't say more than five words after his short ribs showed up because he was too busy cleaning his plate. And don't even think about skipping dessert. I wish our could remember our servers name but she was very attentive, was apologetic that our order was taking a little longer, which we expected when we saw the group before us, didn't mind at all as we were enjoying the conversation and drinks, and honestly there really was no extra wait time in our opinion. The kitchen did a great job that evening. I ordered off the "Secret Menu" and got the Chicken Triestana, and my husband ordered the fish and chips. When the food came to the table it was incredibly hot, full of flavor. My chicken was perfectly executed. The meat was hot, tender juicy, full of flavor and lemon and artichoke. It was enjoyed by myself, and my husband. Next was his fish, hot, crispy, thick, juicy. The cod also was very flavorful, the cole slaw was incredibly delicious and a perfect pair for the fish.
