This place is PACKED! Even though there was a wait time it was only 10 minutes which isn't bad for how packed it was and while you were waiting they send you a text when the table is ready which was very convenient. When we got seated it didn't take them long to bring us some coffees and take our order. Everyone here is really busting their butt to get the tables turned over fast for new customers. The ambience of this place is from all ages. A bit noisy but what can you expect from a place that is packed. I ordered Smothered Biscuits & Gravy & and a side of hash browns. So normally I don't time the food to see how long it takes but because how packed it was I wanted to see how long it would take and from placing our order to the point the food hit the table was 4 1/2 minutes, that is crazy fast. The biscuits & gravy was AMAZING, the biscuits were soft and chewy, the gravy was nice and thick and then to have 3 eggs on top of it was really good. The side of hash browns were not just a side it was a whole plate of hash browns, that was amazing! They were very crisp, it tasted like really well cooked Potato strings and I LOVE potato strings. Everything was full of flavor and just perfect on everything. The staff was very courteous and very fast, the food was amazing and I couldn't see why there was a waiting line now. read more

I've just found this place and now I've been there like 3-4 times already! The prices are great! The food portions are definitely worth everything! I love the smell of the inside! It reminds me of a fresh old country buffet! So far I've tried the baked cod dinner, Cobb salad, and chicken dumpling soup. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! Everything was fresh and everything came out fast! I see why it's always so busy and packed in there. Also the menu is filled with so many different dishes! There will absolutely be something for everyone. 10/10 I definitely recommend read more

Secret Recipe (SR) is bright and clean. The front door is very well managed and will take cell numbers and text you when your table is ready. pretty fancy for a small family place. the portions are very generous and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. the star of the show should have been the food. i ordered smothered chicken which was over cooked and tough to chew. someone else ordered chicken tenders and they were properly cooked but really bad frozen food. read more

Came in after finishing a race. Fan of local diners and this was very much a cute little spot. It was packed but lucky for us there was a booth open. We were quickly seated and our order was taken in a timely manner. The coffee was nothing special but much needed. The breakfast totes were so good, and different. My breakfast avocado quesadilla was ok. No seasoning was added, but we were giving salsas which helped. The pancakes were good though and service was great! Always a bit crowded but it makes sense. Food is good, plenty of sides, and good service (maybe a bit too attentive sometimes, I've seen waitresses have long conversations with patrons) . We ordered cheeseburger and fries and the Swiss steak special. The Swiss steak was absolutely delicious. However, the mashed potatoes leaved much to be desired. They had no flavor. We're not seasoned at all. I also got the peas and carrots as a vegetable, and they were absolutely terrible seemed like they were straight from the can no seasoning barely done. The burger was good and large.. and received a lot of fries. The staff was very friendly .. The price was a bit high it was OK If we were in the area, perhaps we might go back, but we were only there because of other business we were taking care of... We come here all the time, just me and hub for breakfast on his day off or for dinner with our kids. We're here a LOT. During breakfast shift, their breakfast is GREAT. We're the people who love breakfast for dinner, and the dinner shift guy is just not as good at breakfast foods. Daytime hashbrowns are TOP NOTCH. The evening cooks have nothing on the day shift guys! The breakfast sliders with sausage patties are SO GOOD. I don't know what type of bread is used but man.... it is my favorite breakfast sandwich ever! Also, their breakfast potato bowls. I've ordered it with chorizo and that was a great, really filling meal as well. Almost shareable, really. And... they don't make a big thing about having chorizo on their menu, but they should. Their breakfast quesadilla is BIG and filling, but it has several meats, which just isn't my thing. Of course, you can order it how you want it, but that breakfast quesadilla made with chorizo as the only meat is SO GOOD. I saw another review that said if they had gyro or coney or something, they'd be happy, but EVERY diner around here has that on their menu. We like this spot because it's NOT the same, even though the Greek dressing is AMAZING. I've bought it in a soup container to go before, and I've never done that anywhere else! To management - I highly suggest featuring your Greek dressing in specials or something because it really is the best around. I actually just checked the website menu to see what pita I usually order and don't see a grilled chicken option online, but I swear I've seen it on the menu. I kind of create my own, but I get a grilled chicken pita with feta, onion, and Greek dressing on the side. It's SO GOOD. I highly recommend getting a version of that, maybe with cucumber or lettuce and tomato, on your specials menu at least so people know how good your dressing is I've never been super impressed with the soups here, but I wish I was, and the specials seem to be pretty much the same on the days we go. I think they're recently updated the menu though so definitely recommend checking that out! read more

We came here as a big group after a bowling tournament and were all able to sit together. The servers were great with allowing us to split our checks per family. My husband had breakfast (which i believe is served all day) and i had the Greek chicken pita. Let me tell you it was the best Greek chicken pita i have ever had (and I'm Greek) and the homemade Greek dressing served with it makes me wish they were closer to home. It was delicious. The soup was great too. Our one friend had a salad that was so big it could have fed the table. Another friend had the Belgium waffle with strawberries and loved it so much he came back a few days later to get it again. I highly recommend this place if ever in the area. read more

Honestly the food is over priced and the selection is not my favorite . Actually they don't have anything on their menus that I like. I don't get why this place is popular it's a divvy dive . The picture of my meal is an untouched plate . This place sucks you get better value almost anywhere. And I didn't order mashed potatoes but rather Mac n cheese . The food is good, and real down home local comfort. The servers are friendly. The food comes quick. Nothing intricate or fancy, but that's A-ok with me. To-go is always quick, 10 minute wait usually. From heman breakfast bowls to big fluffy pancakes and Belgian waffles, breakfast quesadillas or burritos, and sliders. Lots of breakfast meat options. We have been coming here for breakfast for the past twelve years or so and it's always delicious. They are a small diner, nothing fancy but awesome and fast service. If dining in, it's seat yourself and sometimes there's a wait but trust me it's quick. Totally worth checking out if you want really good comfort food. read more

Food was cold and dry. Had the Secret Recipes sampler. Hash browns were cold, eggs lukewarm, bacon cold, pancake was dry and French toast was soggy. Service was good, but I don't send food back. I just never return to the restaurant. Food is generally bland for the price, senior citizens love this place, which is fine for them, but 40 bucks with tip for a salad, breakfast sampler and coffee, on top of being cold, no thanks. read more
