I stopped by BIF in Brooks on the I-5 exit to try the chicken wrap/ burrito . It exceeded my expectations for sure. Very generous in size , filled with lots of flavor and chunks of chicken . I also had the samosa which was equally good. I brought my husband with me a few weeks later because he liked the burrito so much. This time we ordered the same chicken burritos and samosa, but added paratha and also a paneer dish on rice both excellent . The guy taking the orders and cooking is very nice . There are picnic tables in a covered area if you choose to eat on site . We decided to take out , and there is enough food for probably 2 more meals . This is really tasty Indian food and so accessible basically behind the Carls Jr at the rest stop . For the portion size I think it's very reasonable and a welcome change from fast food . read more

Just the thought of a dhaba-style food truck serving up parathas with butter and pickle sounded like absolute heaven. For the most part, they really deliver on that promise! Almost everything we tried was great. The paratha was humongous and packed with flavor, though I do wish they offered a few more individual filling options instead of just a mixed veg style. Both the chicken curry and the paneer bhurji were absolutely on point, and the gulab jamun was a perfect sweet finish. As for the misses, the chana in the chana masala was still a bit too firm to bite into and definitely needed more cooking time, and the chicken roll was just okay. That said, I'm totally willing to let those couple of things slide because the highlights were so good. I'd love to come back and work my way through more of their menu! read more

The owners are friendly and cook delicious food. I ordered the lamb wrap and the 10 piece pakora. It came out pretty quick and they smelled amazing! The flavors were well balanced and the chutney just brought it all together. I wish they gave more chutney with the wrap though. I feel like I couldn't used almost twice the amount for the entire wrap. Also, for a wrap, I wish the lamb pieces were smaller so when I take a bite I get to take in all the flavors rather than just a full mouth of lamb and then have multiple bites without lamb. Otherwise, very tasty and decently priced. They even have a little eating area under a tent where you have access to hot tea and the bottled drinks you order. read more

Where's the chicken? The food tasted good, but for 20 each plate, I would expect at least a chicken breast worth of chicken in it. There were 4 or 5 chunks in each order. I ordered delivery, or I would have taken it back up and asked the server and cook where the chicken was. read more

A quaint food truck tucked behind well known fast food chains at the Brooks exit truck stop. Easy to find though and ordering ahead is available, but it took only 10 minutes for our on site order to be ready. Yummy samosas with the dipping sauce and a delicious tikka masala, tasting unlike any version I've had before! The garlic naan was not the best I had, but the samosas and tikka masala were fantastic! I would probably still order the naan next time just to see if it was a fluke. We got it "to go" and the server considerately asked if we wanted the curry separately or on the rice. Their portions were generous and what we ordered easily fed two of us! They have a little covered area next to the food truck to eat on site and despite the rain, their space heater made for a cozy waiting area. They have an extensive menu and I look forward to trying many of their other dishes as a return customer! read more

The service was fine, but the food had spices not usually associated with Indian food. The Butter chicken was not buttery nor creamy. It was just hard on the mouth. The saag paneer was also not delicious. I ate a couple of bites of each then threw the whole thing out. It was extremely spicy but not in a good way. BIF is a dirty little food trunk at the Pilot gas station in the back area where the truckers park. Authentic food, a bit oily. Not much lamb in the lamb curry. I, the vegan, had Chana masala with vegetable samosas and Spinach Saag. We also ordered rice , garlic naan, and chutney. The portions are large , we will be eating this amazing food for days! The owner was very nice and helpful. I ordered the Saag after I arrived because it looks soooo good. They have multiple vegan options I will be back! They are in the parking lot behind the pilot station. There is a covered area to eat. My phone order was ready when I got there and the additional spinach Saag only took 10 min! I visit this food truck once every other month while I'm On the road. I love their chicken tikka masala and butter chicken plates. Their homemade samosas are the best I've ever had. The staff is professional and very welcoming. The flavors are out of this world. If you get the chance try the garlic naan and their samosas. Unlike any Indian food I've ever had. The chicken tikka masala sauce was akin to coconut milk with zero spices. I had to add salt just to make it palatable. There was no evidence of the usual Indian spices that give the dish its spicy kick. This literally had no evidence of a single spice! The Saag Paneer was unrecognizable as well. This is a relatively new Food Truck, next to a Truck stop with plenty of space to hang out with your friends if you'd like. If you're from Delhi and your vibe is to go to a street side cafe and enjoy hot food in your car, this is your scene. I'd go to this place for the experience, but wouldn't expect a sophisticated experience for the palate. The food is not bad, but I'll definitely define it as a true Dhabha style i.e. rustic. This has been my favorite take out food for the past few months, as well as my sister's. She discovered this gem of a food truck and told me about it, and I'm so glad that she did, because I would not have thought to look for great food options hidden in the Brooks trucking area. Every week or two, we will tell the other of something new that we have tried there, but both seem to always come back to our favorites. For her, it is the butter chicken, which I also love, and my favorite is the chicken tikka masala (asking for spicy). I also highly recommend their garlic naan, vegetable pakoras, vegetable samosas, and any of their wraps. I was less a fan of their curry (too many onions) and their shrimp dishes (the shrimp were smaller than I would have liked), but the things that I do love far outweigh those minor things to earn a 5 star review from me.
