I had a shawarma wrap, SCW a gyro and we also got an order of hummus which came with pita. The food itself was good. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The tomatoes stood out for me as better than usual. The pea protein was tasty but added a different flavor profile than I was really looking for. When you want falafel it just doesn't taste the same. The hummus was good as was the pita bread. The service was great. I enjoyed the meal but I would not seek it out again simply because of the pea protein option. The charcuterie board only had 2 cheeses (when it should have had 3) and was pitiful and bare looking. It didn't have olives either (the menu indicated it did). We told the waiter and that was it, nobody from the food truck stopped to say anything or offer anything in addition. He said he told the chef and the chef updated the web site. WTF? That's the remedy? Just change the menu... great job, Wooden Heart. Even if you only had 2 cheeses due to supply shortages, bring more of another one to us. Something!
