I say skip the make at home version, because this restaurant will make it for you for a very fair price, and with no fuss whatsoever. We ordered a range of stews along with jollof rice. We ate outside with a friend and the warmth of the pepper stew helped keep us distracted from the cold. Our favorite thing was actually the meat pies. They are homemade with a sweet dough and a delicious meat and potato filling. They are also a bargain at $5 for two hand sized pies. They would make an amazing lunch on their own and were just as delicious at room temperature as they were fresh from the oven. I do have to warn you about ordering the chin chin dessert.
