We wanted to check it out... BINGO! This is what we needed for our next hiking trip we navigated through every aisle within men sections we fell in love with these items at bargain prices. This store is a sisters store to some bargain stores such as Ross, HomeGoods, and Marshall's and more. I wish Sierra would have one over here in Los Angeles because i never see anything before.

No one cared, even when they were checked out with purchases by employees. We went back in after leaving and were directed to the assistant manager. We let them know that the front door has posted signs saying that it is expected that all customers wear masks for the safety of employees and fellow customers. Her response was corporate has instructed them not intervene or push the issue as they don't want to lose customers. I spent hundreds of dollars in that single visit so what if I chose to leave due to people not wearing masks? It seems like a double edged policy. By not choosing one side, you may alienate the other. Beyond this cash grab policy, it is against Oregon law. Also, that sign says "we care about our customers" but they obviously don't care as much as whoever may bring the next sale. Everyone offers specific times where the more vulnerable can shop so I don't know why they choose not to enforce the law. They have people at the front of every store but not one thing was said to the people who chose to enter without a mask. I hope they fix this very strange policy to have in the times of COVID as I would like to come back to shopping here. Their deals are good but not enough to risk mine or my families life.

I pulled around to the auto center and went inside to inquire about an oil change. There's a limited staff, so nobody was at the desk, so I waited a bit before someone acknowledged me. Finally, I was directed to pull my car up in the designated area outside the garage and someone would come write up a work order. I didn't wait long, but was glad I got there when I did because I was told I would be the last customer. I got there at 3:30 and they close at 5:00, so plan accordingly. I was told it would be done in about an hour and a half and opted in for text updates when given the option. What to do for an hour and a half?! I walked next door to Lowes and browsed a bit before I inadvertently pocket dialed a friend I hadn't spoken to in a while. We had a great conversation over face-time for about 45 minutes. Then I checked out the plants, and before long, got a text that my car was being worked on. I headed back and played solitaire on my phone in the waiting area until my car was done. In total, my full synthetic oil change was $55, a deal compared to other 'quick' oil change spots around town charging upwards of $99. They weren't fast, but they were professional and got the job done. With inflation affecting everything these days, I look for savings where I can get it.

I added ONE extra word in the model name that wasn't there, "extreme black ops" instead of "extreme ops" and the manager that I talked to said they had the knife. I drove all the way there from Salem to find out that he thought I meant the something "guard" knife... I was so extremely irritated. A couple days later I go to this store, not expecting to find my knife. And it turns out they have ONE left. I told the manager my story and he was MORE than happy to sell it to me and went the extra length to make it completely worth getting it at this location. He was extremely friendly and nice and went out of his way to search for me. Not to mention they have THE BEST prices on knives. The manager of the Lancaster St Big 5 was super great and exactly how managers should be, although they are far and few now a days. He should get a raise for sure! I STRONGLY suggest you visit them :)

I left with nothing after that. I shouldn't be hearing an employee cussing like that. I'm glad my kid wasn't with me to hear that. Im going to the one in south Salem now.
