As soon as we walked in, a woman at the front counter who was helping a customer held up her arm to eye level and made a lengthy, obvious production about staring at her watch. I waited for my husband to finish his purchase; however, no more than a minute after we entered my husband told us we were leaving. When I asked why, he said he overheard the female employee at the front complaining about us to her customer. They were talking about customers coming in just before closing loud enough to be heard by others. We used to love Northman's and wanted to support our local business. No more. We will gladly take our business to other merchants who have the integrity and professionalism to not gossip about customers to other customers.

They claimed it would come in within a week or so. I had to call every week for a month (they never called me), and each time there was a new excuse for why it would be just one more week. Never any apologies or offers to follow up and find out where my order actually was. When I finally had enough and cancelled my order, the owner refused to refund me until the order eventually arrives, so he could charge me a 30% restocking fee. He was incredibly rude as well, as if it was unreasonable of me to expect to get something for my $750. Thankfully my bank was able to put a back charge and force a reversal. Avoid this business. You can get better inventory and vastly better service pretty much anywhere.
