I stumbled upon Kayak Brinnon on a google search was soo excited to see that Christina, the owner, is a biologist who also offers tours. We signed up for the Pulali Point tour with her, and added on two crab pots! The morning of our tour she called to cancel because of an incoming storm. Thankfully she was really flexible and scheduled us for bright and early the next day. We had a great adventure on this tour - spotting harbor porpoises, bald eagles, kingfishers, and many many seals and seal pups! Christina is a great resource and I would highly recommend taking this tour with her expertise nearby. Icing on the cake was catching some crabs on our way back. What a great trip!

They offered pennies on the dollar for a handful of safe queens, when I asked why their offer was so low the guy shrugged and said "you can only sell these to gun stores now so there's no private market any more, take it or leave it" I left it, I can't justify selling a rifle/scope that I paid $5K for with only 20 rounds down range for $300 because that's just how it is now. The whole experience was so negative that I didn't bother shopping around, I'd rather take my business ANYWHERE else.

Went in after the federal tax stamp of suppressors dropped to zero dollars. First time buying one…read morewith zero knowledge of suppressors. Took two trips in so far with a third incoming when the ATF is done. First trip did some finger printing and questions on the silencer shop kiosk in the store talked to guys at the counter and they informed me about additional stuff to do on ATF website. So went and did that and returned. Pretty average but helpful visit for being new to suppressors. 2nd trip in i spoke with a dude behind the counter explained I wanted a suppressor, but my knowledge is lacking. Told him what firearms I'm using and that I got the paperwork that was mentioned in first visit completed. So he showed me a couple options and grabbed 2 other guys and the lady at the desk processing the paperwork for their input for a first time purchaser and showed me a couple more options and ultimately ended up the the dead air sandman X. While I haven't received it yet (waiting on the ATF to process the paperwork), the staffs thoroughness, willing to answer my dumb questions for 35-40 minutes was a huge help and I felt i had to share my experience. They didn't disappoint and I have a feeling this will be my go to shop in the future. So Thank you for the help and I am looking forward to the ease on my ears when I'm out at target practice.

We are very luck in the Seattle area to have NWOC! I just learned about a Meetup group that does a monthly paddle from NWOC combined with having Swedish pancakes at the nearby (about 4 blocks away) Swedish center. The course was great because I had some of the best instructors I've ever experienced. Ed & Danetta were extremely helpful. I felt like I was being taught by good friends more than they were "instructors". I've been scuba diving before this class but they still taught me extremely useful skills in the pool and open water. They did a great job keeping me and my buddy comfortable at all times and I never felt like I was in any danger at any point of the class (even though you must take your mask off at 25 feet in the cold water!!). I would definitely recommend the open water course with Ed & Danetta to any of my friends. With an upcoming trip to Baja Sur, I decided this was the time and was initially looking at outfits in Mexico when I just so happened to check local prices here in the PNW. I was surprised to find that Underwater Sports offered the most affordable PADI certification I had seen, half the cost of some dive companies in Baja. When I went to check out the shop, I was immediately impressed with the staff, who were all friendly, knowledgeable, & passionate about diving. It felt right, so I booked the Open Water Diver course. This proved to be a very good decision as our instructor, Jaiden, and her assisting Dive Masters (Frank & Jason) were all equally skilled, friendly, and engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was professional but never stiff. I was confident that Jaiden and our Dive Masters always knew what they were doing and had our safety as their top priority, but they also were very relatable and easy to talk to. The experience was an entirely positive one, from beginning to end, and while I was already certain that I would love diving, I am now equally certain that I have found a community that I will continue to share that love with. I highly recommend Underwater Sports in Federal Way for anyone interested in crossing over to the other side of the water's surface. It's a beautiful world down there & you couldn't do much better than having the Fed Way crew introduce you to it.
