Greg showed me several different boots, measured my foot, gave me pointers on picking ski's and the difference of each style, level of ability, width...which was really helpful. He spent at least 20 minutes after I picked the boots I wanted fitting them to my foot so they fit like a glove. Haven't decided whether I'll rent or buy ski's yet but I know I won't regret getting these boots and will be back when I figure out how often I'll be skiing. This store has been around for ages and I highly recommend getting your athletic gear from them. You won't find the great customer service that they provide at the online stores.

There was just one person here working the store, and he was able to handle the three of us customers just fine. This time I wanted to go for a style that was non-bootlike and they had two options (wish there were more). I went for the one which looked like a running shoe. It was surprisingly very comfortable. The choice was made. I asked if I could get some insoles, and the gentleman picked some out for me. Put those in and dang--I was sold. (I always look forward to the opportunity of wearing these shoes when I'm workin' at the lab at work!). A cool note---the guy threw in the insoles for free! (they were ~$10). Other than moving, the store contains the usual Eddie Bauer merchandise. What they did do was take out the video screen that showed extended advertisements for Eddie Bauer merchandise being used by experts in the outdoor environment (Not a plus but a definite minus). The clerks are always available to help and they always have sale merchandise hiding at the back of the store. If my wife was not a fan of this store, I would probably not visit.
