Asked to speak with the restaurant manager, and explained the situation. She admitted right away that the hostess probably did it for server convenience and not reservations. And she DID NOT CARE. She said I should have told her right away, and then she could have put us at a window table. Ummm...why would I initially think the hostess was lying to us about the tables being reserved?
