Great breakfast!…read more Annette's Lakeside Country Kitchen is a casual breakfast and lunch restaurant serving traditional American food, located adjacent to Lakeside Auction in Bernhards Bay. Enter the building through the main glass door and hang right for the restaurant, which behind a plain looking door. The bright dining room has close to 15 tables and seating at the counter. I stopped in at Annette's for breakfast recently. The place was steady with several groups of diners arriving for Sunday breakfast. Annette's seems like the place to be for locals from Constantia and Cleveland. I took a seat at an open table and the waitress arrived with menu. They had a few specials posted on the board and I ordered the Country Omelet Special ($9.99) and a glass of ice water. The food arrived hot 15 minutes later. The portion of food was filling, which was comprised of a folded soft egg sheet filled with shredded hash brown potatoes, sliced ham, onions, and topped with melted cheese (I chose pepper jack) and two thick slices of homemade buttered wheat toast, mixed fruit jam packets on the table. Breakfast was excellent and I barely finished my food. The service was courteous and I wasn't rushed. I would return here again if I happen to be traveling on NY 49 along the north shore of Oneida Lake.

Highly recommend their omelettes, frettas, and chicken tender melt or monte cristo! I'm drooling thinking about these meals. Best part about it is that it's family owned and operated!

The wait staff have been working here for years. We were promptly seated, given our menus, and water and beverages served right away. The menu is fulsome but not overly extensive - to my daughter's chagrin, no eggs Benedict on offer. It's your typical diner fare with eggs/omelettes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, biscuits with sausage gravy, and sandwiches. There is a separate lunch menu that begins at 11:00a.m. which we did not look at. Breakfast continues to be served all day. I went with a French toast slam, with sunny side eggs, order of wheat toast, and link sausages. The choices of bread included rye and possibly sour dough. Some of the breads are upgrades with an additional small charge. The French toast comes with a side of cream cheese. It was nicely cooked and distinctly cinnamony. My eggs were just barely fully cooked and not slimy. The sausage was typical. My daughter had a Philly cheesesteak which included green pepper and was really nice and hot, although the steak didn't taste as robust as she'd hoped. My husband went with a typical breakfast plate. He enjoyed most of it, but left most of the home fries. The decor is country style as opposed to 50's style chrome and leather. You can choose from booths or tables. There are plenty of amusing signs to read, like, if you don't like the coffee, leave (not verbatim, I can't remember the correct wording). There's only one bathroom for one person at a time for each gender, so the wait can be awhile. It is very roomy and clean. The prices are super reasonable and the staff are fantastic. For 5 full breakfasts and refillable coffees all around, it came out to just over $62. I can see why this place is so popular. I'm betting we'll be returning next time we come down for another visit.

Lincoln Street Diner (LSD) is a small but homey diner that's in a fairly residential area, which I…read morethink is really cool. Don't come here with a big party, as the largest table seats four people and there are probably about 25 seats in the whole restaurant. I came with a group of 8, and we were separated into three tables. The food was really good. I ordered an omelet and didn't quite expect what they handed me, but it was super good (it was more like a scramble than a traditional omelet). Omelets can sometimes be really bland, but LSD did a great job of making sure that the food was seasoned well. No complaints about pricing/service either - it was all super fair. Lastly, it gets busy, so be ready to wait!

This place was unexpected! In the middle of a neighborhood full of houses... Bam! Diner! This place…read morehas just enough parking around it for the number of seats available. The inside looks like a typical small diner. It's small, having some counter seats and like 6 tables, but it's busy with a steady stream of people eating and at least 2 people waiting to be seated! There's one lady who runs around and waits on all the tables. She deserves some sort of super hero waitress award. The food was top notch diner breakfast... Nothing fancy, but it really hit the spot. The coffee was fresh and strong and hot. It was a perfect fuel for a day of hiking and exploring.
