I sure am glad I picked them! Levi was nothing short of personable, knowledgeable, and overall great at what he does. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing, why he was doing it, and also offered some tidbits of info about the piano itself. More importantly, my piano sounds 100% better now that it has been tuned properly! In addition to tuning, Levi resolved a few stubborn keys and even took the time to glue on a piece of decorative trim that had fallen off the top panel prior to his arrival. I had no idea they needed to be tuned every 6-12 months, we haven't tuned ours in many moons. I don't play but my daughter does and I must say that after an hour long deep tune session the piano sounds much better. I learned that each tuning should be a fine tuning not a complete overhaul. I also learned because of this Florida weather that all pianos should have a dehumidifier installed so that the keys and other wood moving parts do not become sticky or wrap which makes a lot of sense. This is something the piano store should recommend when you first purchase a piano but I do not recall them ever mentioning this. Anyhow, the piano teacher immediately noticed that the piano sounded much better so I guess I will have to get this thing tuned on a regular basis. Overall great experience, Don was able to accommodate my schedule and come to the house after five and can schedule weekends if needed. I highly recommend him for you piano tuning needs.
