What a Sh!t show, I will never support this chain ever again. Placed a pickup order it was ready on time but I had to wait in line to pay for the order. I was 6th in line and had to wait for everyone to place orders before I was able to pay and go. Even though there were 4 people working no one else could to cash me out. Great service, good bagels though they have shrunk a lot or they did not rise properly (see Pictures) they are mostly crust. They now have a beautiful outdoors area to sit and enjoy your meal that's an added bonus. The bagels are expensive $26.00 for a dozen WOW. I guess at their location people can afford those prices but I'm used to getting nice bagels in New York with lots of cheese and plenty of slices of lox and capers on it. This is still a good place to come for bagels once in a while. read more

Absolutely as others have stated: zero customer service. In fact, it's basically negative when the employee literally rolls their eyes at you. Slow down. Listen. Confirm the order before totaling. Communicate things such as, "That's eight. You have four more to choose." It's quite basic and none of it is being done. Instead you have people rattling orders off and employees having to repeat and redo which sets everyone up for failure. It's incredibly inefficient and frustrating for all. Have the employees take the whole order and then fulfill it, not split time between order taking and grabbing bagels. That system only works if they're ordering a straight bag, not any split/toasted/sandwiches etc. Also touching a register plus handling cards and cash while also handling food is gross. This said, the POS system is also done in such a way that makes the employee's job highly inefficient, thus costing franchisee money over time and frustrating your team. Some people come in knowing they're getting a dozen or a half. For the other 50% who are ordering as they go, it seems the system needs to know if they're meeting the 6-12 threshold first. So if you start ordering and the employee picks up on you're ordering more than one or two, they're forced to ask how many total then the customer has to reorder and the employee has to retype everything in. This caused two mistakes in my order and three other people in front of us had a similar issue. Make a button so they can group things back having to redo what they've inputted. It's leading to more time spent and more mistakes which is costing you money. Lastly I'll say while the $1.25 I was charged twice for a singular 2oz cream cheese is obnoxious, at least it was cold which might be the first BAB to master this feat. As for the food, when fresh the bagels were good. The ones that had been sitting for some time and those that hadn't proved properly were dreadful. read more

Great perfectly toasted bagels n' cream cheese every time. Try the; everything bagel, toasted w/jalapeño-cheddar cream cheese- addicting! The coffee/bagel combo, they hand you a cup & you can choose from three different dispensers: Dark, Breakfast or decaf. They lost points when I saw the little, dry packets of flavorless creamer. Speedway is not as nice inside but at least they have a plethora of liquid creamers for a get-it-yourself coffee shop. Very "uppity" type of regulars/neighbors. Horrible service. Came in on Sunday for a quick breakfast. They took our order during a busy time and lost it. We waited while others received their orders and then notified them. They then had run out of some of the breakfast bagels we ordered and had to swap them out. They are definitely not staffed for Sunday's and need a better process to transfer orders from the register to the prep area. Still haven't tasted my bagel yet as we are still waiting for them. Not impressed- Went in today and found that the women's restroom door does not lock. The lock is broken. So how are any women employees or customers suppose to use a restroom that doesn't lock?! And the light in that bathroom was mostly burnt out so it was very dark in there. The frozen yogurt area was dirty with spilled yogurt on most of the dispensers. I've been here a few times when I come to town to visit my brother. This time I came with my friend and we ate in. The service was great, the staff was very friendly and they brought our food to our table. I got the southern tradition while my friend got the breakfast ranchero. We both also got the deal where they come with a regular coffee. I thought it was reasonably priced and we both agreed our bagel sandwiches and coffee were pretty good. Horrible customer service. Placed an online order, arrived at the store in the allotted time. None of my order was completed, the employee told me they were out of most of what I had ordered. Lets start with the young lady that was waiting on me who was going to use the bag that she had been walking on to put my bagels in. She actually looked surprised when mentioned it. I'm fairly certain that the cream cheese they gave me was out of date. The other young lady with the pumpkin orange hair and the bag lady huddled and then i noticed a small sticker being ripped off the top of the container and thrown to the floor. I'm typically a fan of Big Apples but for some reason, this location was a miss on the day I went. My bagel sandwich was supposed to be toasted and turned out only slightly warm. The egg was really small, but ham and cheese were good. The other bagel purchased, swiss with veggie cream cheese, was LOADED with cheese, probably could have been happy with half the amount. Ended up being a huge mess. Suggestion, cream cheese on the side. Bagel itself was pretty tasty though. My coffee, Irish Cream, tasted off, watered down, just not a whole lot of flavor. I'd probably go back but if I'm basing this review on their competition for this morning time frame, I'd have to say Biggby Coffee right down the street beats them out by a star. read more

Frankly, just the best I've ever tasted. Somehow the owners and staff have blended a fantastic offering of just too many choices, toppings, fantastic service, and friendly staff to make this the 'best' of most available. Creativity of choice and your own imagination of combined tastes makes this a real experience all around. My favorite-the tart with its unique flavor, texture, and lasting reminder that next time I'll do it just the same and add my own name to it just to see the staff reaction. So far nothing's stuck as memorable to them, but they remain 'tops' on my list. I've tried every yogurt tart by every name in five places here as well as a couple to the West. The ambience is relaxed, though a little chilly, probably from the frozen yogurt, which I have yet to try. Baked goods are stale and overpriced. Coffee is old and cold. The worker in the back needs his inappropriate music so loud that it conflicts with the music playing in front. I like their bagels and they are a cute little spot but their coffee is atrocious. Also the fact I'm pretty sure they spat in my coffee cause the old lady couldnt explain to me why their machine couldn't give me a small hot chocolate. Yes I got a little snippy but it was for my 4 year old. When I was able to get her to explain why the small cup was not an option I then told I was sorry and I would just deal with medium cup. I really wanted a small hot chocolate for my 4 year old since he doesn't need much. So I get my Mocha which doesn't taste like coffee at all and they gave a large hot chocolate for my small child. What a perfect little breakfast spot! I stopped on my way through town and was cheerfully greeted by the staff. I ordered a breakfast BLT with cheddar bacon cream cheese on a fresh Asiago bagel. Totally delicious, and was tempted to order another for the road. Instead, I was compelled to order a little dessert from their frozen yogurt bar. I was mesmerized by all the fresh fruit toppings, and ultimately decided on the chocolate raspberry fro-yo. It was a much needed, rejuvenating breakfast to get me back on the road.
