Stopped here on our way to camping. Excellent midwestern portions but I could get an egg whites scrambled with a lot of veggies and it was sliced with either tarragon or basil,,which is fabulous. The crepe has a cheese cake filling-- fresh fruit, perfectly ripe avocado. Good coffee, which is rare. We found Butlers on Yelp and decided to give it a try for breakfast. The service was outstanding and fast and our server was very friendly. We had the Friday special (omelet for $10) and it was a very good (& large!) meal. We will definitely be back when we are in town again. read more

Everything was great! Opened at 7 am. By 7:15 the place was "rock in'" with a dozen diners and some takeaway flying out the door. I was quickly brought coffee by a waitress who single handedly had everything under complete control. She was greeting locals by name and knew the menu by heart (which omelets are which numbers). Went here for breakfast around 8am on a Monday with my husband and our 7 month old son; it was not busy at all. The wait staff was so friendly, helpful, and fun! The food was amazing and not overpriced, the service was so quick, the coffee was really good and the atmosphere was so chill. First visit in Jan 2024 was stellar. Visit later in the month, not so much. Ordered crepes. Almost ZERO filling. That wasn't the issue. Unrolled the crepe to show the server and she indicated they were served correctly but she would go get her mom. Since I was told no visible filling was correct I said never mind. I let them take it away after about 3 bites of a $10 order plus $3 for a half cup of coffee. "Mom" brought the bill. Quietly commented to my husband that I was surprised they hadn't removed the crepes. She whirled around and loudly berated me with "You said never mind." When I tried to explain my frustration she, again loudly, said "You said we were done. Nothing else should be said." I hadn't wanted other patrons to hear a complaint so spoke quietly, but she seemed to think loudly scolding a customer was perfectly appropriate. The issue isn't the crepes. They can serve as they see fit. I didn't expect to be "right", just heard. The issue is someone not even saying "I'm sorry it wasn't as you expected. Please try us again." I went and waited in the car for my husband to finish as I was so embarrassed. SHE was the total problem, not the food, not the server. read more
