They have to do the unbuttoning and it makes their fingers crack which I felt terrible about.

They're serving the community the old school way. The front door's always open, they have plenty of staffers greeting you, and they even give you these old fashioned 50 cent off discount cards after certain purchases. In the back of the store you'll find Calvin, a wonderful gentleman kind as can be. He LOVES dogs and is a great conversationalist. He made the necessary marking on my two pairs of slacks, and told me to come back in a week's time. The pants came back exactly as desired! Then last week, I took one of my suits to the cleaners. In 48 hours my suit was perfect as can. For the jacket, slacks, and dress shirt, it was around $20. No complaints at all. Carousel Cleaners is a Denver institution. Easy business to support right off 38th near the Tennyson district. Definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer!

I came in w/ a LOT of clothes (some dry cleaning, some laundry)- I am living in an extended-stay place since I am new to the area so I just needed a bunch of my clothes washed for work. Initially he said it would be three days, but after my telling him that I at least need one outfit ready in 2 days to have something to wear to work that day, he said okay, we will just have all of the clothes ready for you. Fast forward the 2 days, and I am hurrying to try to get to the store before they close at 6:30... :( I was very nervous I wouldn't be able to get my things in time and also felt guilty of course for not getting there sooner. I decided to call him and let him know I would be less than 5 minutes late but just wanted to see if I might could still get my things.. He immediately remembered me (I have a pretty distinct southern accent) and said no problem, he will wait for me to get there. Whenever I got there, I was actually pleasantly surprised at the price for how many pieces I'd gotten cleaned. And, even after staying late to wait on me, he insisted on helping carry my clothes to my car. And, the best part- no eye-rolling or judgment that I was late... just happy and helpful:) And, on top of all that- clothes were cleaned, pressed, and even didn't have all those annoying dry cleaning tags stapled/ pinned on everything.
