Just started going to Benders Nu-Look and I am loving it! Bender's was recommended to me by a friend who told me he was always really happy with the quality of work coming out of there and he is right. I wont be going anywhere else to get my clothing cleaned, even though Bender's is a bit further away than where I live I have made it a part of my weekly errands to keep me looking fresh. I even took all my linens and I never, I MEAN NEVER, do my linens lol. Lastly, I also would like to mention the staff. Incredibly helpful in getting me set-up on my initial run and since over the last two months I am recognized and treated very well. This review is long over due. I took my brothers Marine dress blues. That were in bad shape. And they did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. The sign in the window says they do wedding dresses so I assume they know what they are doing...dead wrong! I dropped off my dress (this was a year ago) and got a quote around $100 (average price) and am told about a week, understandable I had a huge princess gown to be cleaned. I had stains on the inside of the dress from spray tan but nothing on the outside of it. I picked it up after they called and said it was ready. I took it out if the bag and was downright mad. They had stained the front bodice yellow and I don't know how but it was white when I brought it in! Then there were black stains on the skirt too. I told the lady working I would not pay full price for this. She said they would reclean it. So a week later I go back and the black is gone but the bodice is still yellow!!!! I tell her again I won't pay for that because they stained it she called me a liar and told me there was a huge brown spot on the dress I combed through pictures at the end of our reception, nope no stains. They held my dress hostage, refused to reclean it (I don't know that it would help or not) and finally the lady said $35 and I said fine I wasn't losing a $1200 dress to these people. I will never go back to these people for our regular dry cleaning because of this incident. read more

The owners of Nu-Look are the most gracious people we have met in a long time. They have NEVER had an issue cleaning clothes, carpets, uniforms, etc. They are very careful to let us know about items that may not be 100% cleanable. We could not be happier with them. We moved about 14 months ago and we drive back to the old neighborhood and still take all of our dry cleaning needs and alterations to them. Could not be happier. Tom D' read more

I am sad to post this and that I have lost a cleaners I have used for over 10 years. Recently they ruined a quilt and made no mention of it when I paid and picked it up. I found the damage when I started to put it on the bed. I Immediately brought it back and the woman owner acknowledged that she knew it was ruined after she completed the work. When I brought it back, she kept showing me the damaged areas saying it happened when she "clean it." I asked why she didn't tell me when I picked it up and she kept showing me the damaged areas! Another item was cleaned also and the spots did not come out. She did refund me for the cleaning cost of both of these and after I showed her the cost of replacement for the quilt, she paid me a reasonable replacement amount. read more

I've been coming here for almost a decade. Sue is usually the one I deal with, and she is an affective and sweet Korean lady. She struggles a little with English, but makes an honest effort to hear anything you want to call attention to, and immediately seems to know exactly what you are getting to. On last visit, she noticed that a button was missing from the blazer I had dry cleaned there, and remembered I said something about having a spare button. She offered to just sew it on free of charge on the spot, and right around closing time. At a time when so many businesses are sandbagging around closing time (really dumb), she goes the extra mile, especially for return business. A long time ago, I did wonder about a shirt whose stain might not have come all the way out, and she simply accepted it to do again, apologized, and politely noted that some stains may not come all the way out (which is indeed true). read more

We have been taking our cleaning and laundry here since 1975 when I was owned by Benders. Everything comes back very clean and the shirts are properly starched. The "new" owners are very attentive and friendly. BTW, we go out of our way to bring our clothing here. read more
