Had a site graded off for a double wide. Had to have the ground cut down and leveled. They cut it…read moredown, put straw & seed then when I was digging the footings I noticed they had pushed 4-6" of fill dirt back over the solid ground to make it look right. Needless to say I had to dig the footings that much deeper so they would be in solid ground. I know this because there was a layer of straw 4-6" down and they guys that dug the footings were laughing at how the grading job was done. Also I needed gravel. They quoted me $300 a load and had a tandem truck sitting there (16-18 ton capacity) so I said OK. But when they brought the gravel most of it was brought on a single axel 8 ton truck with about 6-7 tons on the damn truck so I had to keep ordering more gravel. They never presented me with a single weight ticket from the gravel query... I got ripped! The $3500 job ended up costing me $7000! Then more money spent on footings and concrete to make up for the fill that was pushed back in. The ground settled and I also had to have more dirt brought in because it was not compacted correctly. I paid $400 to have straw & seed blown in. They did it on a very windy day and every bit of blew away. The entire job was a rush job and nothing more than a costly mess. I would never hire them again in my life. I did not stand over them to watch the job because they seemed like good'ole boys you know. Chris was very good and wanted to do things the right way and take the time to do it. In contrast, his brother Curtis was money hungry and was always in a hurry. If Chris was doing the job by himself I would hire back in a heartbeat but the both of them together was very costly and unsatisfying. I feel I was ripped off and would not ever recommend them for any job unless you stood right over them and watched the complete job and saw every ticket from the Query... Do not have the straw job done it was a total waste of $400.00

Their original concept of your water feature is great and the basics of setting it up, but when it comes to the finish work, it is terrible. Kids could do a better job. Also, they do not stick with their original price, nor do they stand by their word on anything. To solve this problem for themselves, they refuse to ever discuss any of it with you and absolutely will not return your calls and if they see it is you calling, they refuse to even answer the phone. I will just highlight what all went wrong. We were told, we absolutely did not need a filter for our koi pond since we put a UV filter in our pond. This is totally wrong according to the UV filter instructions and from other professionals we have asked. The UV filter should have been on a pad with a gauge on the top to measure pressure, not done. Pump was too small, we did get that changed out for a bigger one, paying the difference, and find out the pump is still not big enough. The grout on the rock work was a mess. We have had to dig it out and put more in. After giving us a price, they said they would take off for all that we bought - three truckloads and a trailer of BIG rock, two skids of smaller rock, block, mortar, underlayment for the pond, fittings, 9 bushes/trees/plants for the landscaping and I could go on. What rock they brought, they said was left over from another job (already paid for). They did not take one penny off the price, instead we had to pay $1,000 more than the 4-$5,000 estimate (said that would be max). The landscaping plants was not properly put into the ground, having to redo. The fill dirt they put in was full of crabgrass which came up immediately. Don't know if I will ever get rid of that. We've ended up spending hundreds of dollars more, just trying to undo all the problems they created for us. They evidently do a great job for these big job and throw together the smaller ones. I am going to report them to the better business bureau. They have had other negative feedback on their site, but have taken it off. Would never recommend them. Hope no one else gets burned like we did..
