Some of the parts were missing (from Amazon) so Tim had to go get some missing pieces. He made it work and he did it without a complaint. I love it. It came out so nice. I dealt with Candy in the office to make the arrangements. She was wonderful as well. She communicated with me and went above and beyond to make them available around the counter install. I would highly recommend them above any others. I have used a few in the Tri-cities are and these guys are head and shoulders above the others. Thank you!!!

We paid 5,200 dollars. Something wasn't right and water was backing up in the sink now. The ground has been very dry for weeks and the water still won't drain properly. Rick never came by to see what went wrong and won't return any calls. This speaks volumes! He does NOT guarantee his work or the guy he sends out. If it's something he can't handle fixing then he will ignore you. This is the attitude of a back yard plumber not a professional. I will retract this review if Rick ever does decide to come and see what Josh did or didn't do that caused the problem of water backing up into our kitchen sink now. I have a feeling Rick just doesn't care!! So if you still see this review then go with another plumber.

Oh, by the way, it was a one-man job for this company.

On July 5, I got the promise of an appointment on Friday, which didn't materialize. The next week I called several other companies, but only Joe Cool could come. Danielle at their office was kind and sympathetic (a lot of companies were actually rude) and promised someone to assess the situation the following day. Bill came and looked everything over and Justin and a helper came a day later. The system had been installed by Air Serve (who refused to stand behind it) and the original install crew had admitted to me that they were fresh out of an HVAC course, and had never installed anything at all. Justin from Joe Cool had installed a lot of mini split systems before (as had Bill) and of course there were numerous problems with the original work--not draining properly, not level on the walls, not charged with refrigerant, incorrectly wired. A LOT of problems to correct. It took hours to fix it all. Justin returned the following day to check that everything was working correctly. I'm very happy to have finally found a reliable HVAC company to keep my oven of a house cool. I realized that I'd never had the entire system (four units) ever working at the same time before!! He had other jobs already scheduled but was able to come by on Sunday afternoon. (I had shut off everything I could think of so the leak had stopped. Was afraid it was the toilet by the kitchen.) He was able to arrive an hour earlier than he expected which was great. Long store short... he was able to diagnose the actual problem (wasn't the toilet) and the issue was resolved. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very personable. Nice guy and the cost was actually less than I expected for an emergency weekend plumbing call. No contact, no information beyond that. I don't know what was going on, but no communication, no call backs- and I'm a family guy so family is important, but when I'm trying to book you for a business perhaps communicate better if you promise to do so. Needless to say after ghosting me and lack of communication, I posted a review elsewhere on social media and the owner had the gall to post my 1-star review and called me out- I had patience and waited many days- the business owner didn't respond, ghosted me, then blasted me on social. After many people came to my defense, they deleted the post. Wow, what a bunch of drama! I will forever avoid the Salts- I found out the owner has several race cars- no wonder his estimates always came in high. I'll find someone else in the future and suggest that you not do business with these people or they will post your honest review on their social media and try to convince people that YOU are the problem. Not ever a business I'd take a risk on again.

After hearing nothing for weeks, I reached out to him and he said he would have it by the end of the week. The following week, I reached out again and finally received an estimate. From there on, I would hear NOTHING from him unless I initiated contact. Then the excuses started.. I dealt with this man for three and a half months, with him ghosting me the entire time. At no time did he ever fulfill a promise, or meet a deadline. The last straw was him AGAIN failing to provide information on the repair. That was Feb. 25, and, you guessed it, CRICKETS! I have to wonder what part of "Do It Right" applies to his business.

We had an emergency problem with our septic tank on a Sunday and had a problem finding someone willing to come to our home. That was our first contact with Hometown Plumbing. We found out the problem was actually in the field bed and it would have to be replaced. The whole staff at Hometown was fantastic. Every person that worked on the septic tank and field bed was conscientious about performing the work in a timely matter. They spent several hours breaking up a large rock found underground without stopping for lunch. After laying the chambers and waiting for the state to approve it, we had an extremely heavy rain. We were told the soil would have to dry before it could be replaced in the ground. Since we had already paid for the service, we were concerned Hometown would move on to other jobs and we would be moved to the end of the line before the filled in the field bed. Instead, in a matter of days a worker came back, filled in the field bed, smoothed down the dirt well, and prepared to spread grass seed and hay. We don't know enough about what was involved to know whether the price was great or what what would be expected, but we do know they were here when we needed them. Thanks, Hometown! read more

The service they provided at my house was good. Although their prices was higher than most other companies. I am rather new to the area I happened to have a coupon for $50 so I called Hometown. They talked to me in extra services which I later decided I didn't want and called Hometown customer service. Their representatives were rude and completely unprofessional. They finally refunded most of my money. However it was not an easy task. Next time I need a plumber I will look elsewhere! I happen read more
