We finally made the trek over to try out this little place and we were impressed! It's a Christian based (religious posts and decor all over, in case that would bother you) breakfast and lunch Mom 'n Pop diner experience. Not much seating as the location is small but they do offer a drive thru. We ordered a bunch of things to try out and all except the macaroni and cheese was delicious. Burger was the highlight for sure! Seasoned, not greasy, perfectly grilled! The fries are homemade, fresh cut with skin still on and very country feel to them. Highly recommend trying them! The mac'n cheese was sour/bitter but not as if old but more like they used sour cream in the recipe. Just not our thing. Overall we love this place and hope to visit again if we get time before 2pm closing. read more

I love they let me call in, drive up and go! Ordered 2 sausage biscuits, a BLT, fried egg and cheese with bacon, large milk and payed 7+ $. AMAZING! You can't get fresh, southern love even at McDonalds that cheap! When I made it to the office (early cause they are fab and I called it in) most times, you would not believe the raves from my co-workers. Now all I hear is how upset they are that's school is out and I no longer drive by there! Note to the owner. . . . . Be ready when school starts back! UNUM IS HITTING YOU LADIES UP! Keep up the great grub and you will be around for a life time. Only note. . . Some of these people are rude in the AM, young and lack customer service. Learn from your elders. This has to be the worst place I have ever been to next to Dennys. Dropped in for breakfast and was surprised to see someone setting up to sing outside. This was a Saturday morning Go in to order at the counter and the chick was kind of laying over the counter. I asked why the things on the counter were and she said cinnies. What? She repeated it and then I figured out it was a cinnamon bun. So we ordered one and I ordered one biscuit with sausage gravy. Hubby ordered a biscuit sausage cheese egg sandwich. Biscuits dried out and no flavor and cold. Biscuits and gravy was cooler than lukewarm. Took it back up front for the microwave and they still were not hot. And now, the best part.... We ate inside hoping to miss the singing virtuoso, but the joke was on us. There was another person inside. My office crew use to come here for lunch. We stopped going because the wait time started to take up our whole lunch hour. We also noticed the last 2 times we ate there the ladies in the kitchen were always complaining. When your waiting 50+ minutes on food, the last thing you want to do is listen to the employees murmer and complain about preparing the food you are about to eat. We decided to stop going. So, fast forward about 3 years. We decided to give it another shot for a breakfast pick up order. One of the orders was incorrect, so I called them to let them know. I was not rude about it at all, just going to let them know. The lady who answered the phone never asked for my name, offered anything to make it right. She put me on hold and said I could speak to Starla. Starla was kind, and offered to bring a new sandwich to the office since it was just down the street. She assured me it was not an inconvenience and wanted to make it right. While on the phone with Starla she put me on hold to speak to the others. All I could hear was rude comments amongst them. I told her it was ok, I didn't want anyone going out of their way because they didn't sound too happy. Again, Starla informed me it was "alright". About 15 minutes later a lady walked into my office with a new sandwich. She actually asked for the other sandwich to take back. By this time, it had already been tossed in the trash can (unwrapped) and was wet from the rest of my drink going in the trash with it. We told her it was in the garbage and was nasty. We were not finished talking, and mid sentence she said with a very snarky tone "FINE" and turned around and stormed out the door! WOW!!!!! The question I would like to know from them is, are they calling me a liar, OR do they plan on re-using the food THEY send out wrong?? Ive been in the food industry before, and NEVER would I expect someone to return food after it has left the building!! I would have gladly let them fish it out of the trash can if they wanted it that bad, maybe I should have. We were trying to see if they still wanted it but didn't get to finish the sentence before being cut off. I would like to take them my trash can and sit it down in front of them and tell them to have at it if it meant that much. Because these ladies are so rude and don't care to show it. I will never eat at this establishment again, and would suggest someone teach them a little something about customer service and what is appropriate to say when a customer is on the telephone and can hear everything said. We thought it had been long enough to try again, because we did enjoy the food. It is decent, definitely not worth putting up with a bunch of ill mannered, rude and crude women. Ordered breakfast plate, with chicken strip. Had to take it to go. Awful and way too loud karaoke. It Took up A whole seating area. Got home, my three eggs looked like two and was tough. No chicken, over cooked and dried out pork. Grits drowning in butter. Tots Everything else but biscuit was very blain. Biscuit no where as big as they use to be. I met one of the ladies that worked there at a Bi Lo,and she told me about it ,I figured on 11-8-2014 I would give it a try. So I pull up at noon entered the restaurant, and never made it to the counter when a lady sweeping looked at me and said" I hope you know,we're closed" I was shocked at two things, the time of day, and secondly the bluntness of the comment. I looked at the lady and said,"Seriously" she replied Yes. I can take a hint. Now the lady I met that invited me to the place,stated it was a nice,small christian business. So I gave it a try, and I can GUARANTEE you, I will not give it another. I do not appreciate rude people, they can have the greatest biscuits in the world, and the cheapest price, but I for one do not like ill manners, she could have stated I'm sorry we are closed or something of that nature. What kind of restaurant advertises breakfast or brunch but is closed at noon? Brunch is the meal between breakfast and lunch,since most lunches are around 1 or two in the evening,it seems ten to twelve would be a brunch time. Might want to reconsider removing brunch from your logo. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone,as a matter of fact that's why I am posting this.
