We had such a nice time at Railhead Station today. The Mexican Fiesta and Kings Club were both so good--full of flavor and fresh. The service was kind and the atmosphere felt easy and welcoming. We'll definitely be back !

Service is always amazing! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Ambiance is welcoming and on point with the theme. Food is always amazing, no matter what you order. Need something modified? No problem! Potato's or "Jackets" are always cooked to perfection, my go to meal.

For appetizers, we had the Spicy Feta Dip with warm, soft bread, and Fried Mushrooms topped with White Truffle Oil and served with Horseradish Sauce. Absolutely amazing!!!! For my entrée, I went with their signature dish... the Slash and Burn Catfish. WOW... crazy good! Great flavor and fried to perfection. You actually use a spoon to scrape the meat off the fish. This is a must-have dish! Others in our group that weren't feeling as adventurous enjoyed the Chicken Piccata, Grilled Shrimp, Sautéed Triggerfish, and steak, all were excellent. Pro tip: Save room for dessert!! We got the Strawberry Shortcake, which is a MUST HAVE, and the Amaretto Brownie, which was pretty great too! The service was amazing and very attentive throughout the meal. So, if you live in the Chattanooga area or are just visiting, what are you waiting for? This is a must-try place!

From there, we moved to our table and ordered two appetizers: the Burrata with tomatoes and the Rajas. Both were so fresh and flavorful -- the perfect way to start our meal. For our main courses, we enjoyed the filet with grilled shrimp (cooked to perfection!) and the fried shrimp, which were lightly battered and perfectly crisp. The grilled broccoli and fried okra were both fresh, hot, and full of flavor -- true standouts on their own. To top it all off, we finished with the amaretto brownie -- it had a crisp outer layer, a warm, rich chocolatey center, and was beautifully paired with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Just divine! A special shoutout to Michael, our bartender, who sent us glasses of port as an aperitif to enjoy with dessert -- such a thoughtful and classy touch. The service, food, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Even though it's an hour drive from where we live, this will absolutely become one of our regular spots. Highly recommend -- everything was amazing!

The buffet tonight was pitiful and embarrassing, and it's Friday night. Everything I wanted to eat was way overfried and appeared to have sat around until it was dried out. They had catfish, but not fillets. The shrimp was like marbles. No coleslaw -- as in, they didn't make any. How do you serve seafood in Alabama without offering coleslaw? The chicken looked greasy, so i passed. They had frog legs, gizzards and chicken livers. I walked around and around trying to find something that looked edible. I ordered a chopped sirloin steak, but it turned out to be a hockey puck. I get they're trying to save money, to remain affordable, and not throw out stuff that's been sitting out awhile, but I don't think I can afford to go back if they can't afford to serve me a decent meal. I hope a manager or owner sees this and intervenes.

The weight staff are well trained and highly attentive. We even got desserts to go. Every dish is exceptionally well crafted, and the ambience of the restaurant is what I would call farmhouse modern. Open ceilings, a very open floor pan, and rustic decor. This is a special occasion for us, but there will be more special occasion, and we will be back!

The welcome we received was warm -- the hostess greeted us with genuine friendliness, setting a comfortable tone for the evening. We opted for the ribeye and lamb chops. Unfortunately, the ribeye lacked savor, needing a more assertive hand with salt. The lamb chops sat on a bed of Swiss chard that, while "somewhat flavorful," leaned more bitter than complementary; the greens masked the meat rather than enhancing it. Our mac 'n' cheese was beautifully creamy, but again under‑seasoned -- smooth texture, but missing that final savor. The redeeming highlight of our evening was the Brussels sprouts and cocktails. The sprouts were wonderfully prepared -- caramelized edges, seasoned yet well balanced (more please?). The drinks displayed both creativity and skill, elevating the experience when some of the food felt like it needed a bit more refinement. Take home message: Number Ten has many of the hallmarks of a great steakhouse -- ambiance, promise in smoke, and standout sides and cocktails. Being from Texas which does beef well, the execution of some of the mains felt off-base. With just a little more attention to seasoning balance, this place could truly live up to its promise.
