Where can you find good service like that, for that low price? I have never had an issue with pick-up, the drivers are always cool and usually one on that same route, so the consistency is good for kids. Her school didn't let her wait outside, so the driver would have to get out to pick her up from the office, which was very cool because most places would not do that when I asked. The staff is awesome, Miss Claudia always knows me and sometimes when she sees me walking up I can hear her already calling the lil one over the overhead speaker. She is always accommodating and helps out. Miss Rudi is, well was the director and she is the best! Very caring and calm with the kids and parents. I trust them all with the care and tutoring they provide. My only negative is that the lil one is one of the youngest there and hangs out with the older kids (even though middle/high are not in the same area) which I have had several talks about and kids will be kids!! The staff did put a stop to it when I told them about it though, so it worked out. Also, I like how they correct the kids mouths there. You know how middle/high school kids can be rude and think their sh!t don't stink, well they are constantly being corrected on the spot and I like that. If you are trying to find a place to pick up and have your kid stay after school, try the Boys and Girls Club out! They offer a lot of various classes and field trips for them. From baking, to Math, to how to act properly, to Football, to dance, they seem to have it all.

There was a lot of parking and it was a quiet morning. The view was amazing, but the interior setup was interesting. The venue had a large round table that would sit 10 comfortably, but they had 11 people per table. It was hard to maneuver around the tables and guests without crossing in front of the guest speakers. At one point, we couldn't figure out where the extra sound of music was coming from during one of the presentations. I heard it coming from the kitchen. The bathroom had 3 stalls on one side and 4 plus a handicapped stall on the other side. They had a hands-free sensor for the toilets flushing mechanism, which I thought was amazing. They also used high quality paper towels and provided little plastic cups for mouthwash. The breakfast selections were awesome. There was this whipped yogurt that was thick and fluffy, almost like cream cheese. They had this tomato parmesan croissant that was aromatic and I wanted more (I had 3). The custard Danish was delicious too. Lunch selection was pretty good too. Their pasta dish was cold, but filling. Their chicken and salmon were cooked perfectly, wasnt dry. Their smoked gouda mac and cheese wasnt creamy, but wasnt fully dry either. I really enjoyed the barley that came with the salmon. The potatoes were my least favorite, I thought it was too dry and very salty. As far as the golf course, you need to be a resident to get a discount ($10k), and there is a monthly fee after the annual price of $50k. The course looked amazing, not too many people out during my visit, but it had the hills, the sand pits, a lot of green fields.

My son was VERY reluctant in the beginning, he's a great swimmer but just apprehensive towards new groups and activities but Coach Kyle and the entire staff were so welcoming and supportive from the beginning. By the 2nd week my son was more eager and engaged and by 3rd week he wanted to show up early and get some practice laps. By the time he had to take the swim test he had so many timed practice sessions under his belt and was well on his way for passing and felt very prepared. He's doing his first Jr. Guards session this summer and already doing great thanks to Coach Kyle and the entire MCC aquatics staff. Cant thank them enough!!

Some months ago I was repeatedly lied to by Club management staff in response to my reporting outages of many of the jacuzzi's jets that rendered the facility essentially inoperative for all but a single user at a time. After being assured that the matter would be addressed, I was told that the wet area's maintenance manager had inspected the facility and found my complaint baseless. When I refused to accept this lie, the member of Club management I was dealing with assured me she would personally inspect the facility and get back to me. She did not. I then asked another member of the Club staff to accompany me to the facility (he did), verify the legitimacy of my complaint (he did), and inform the management staff member I'd been dealing with that he had done so. After this, however, I heard nothing more about the matter, from her or anyone else, for weeks. I had, finally, to take the matter to another member of the Club management staff. This person referred it to the Club's top manager, from whom I finally received an admission that my complaint was legitimate and an assurance that replacements for the dysfunctional parts were on order. So I was hardly surprised to learn, not long thereafter, that this same Club's management had been reported in the news media for lying about its day-care personnel having injured a child in its custody. It seems to be a business practice.

While it's a great conservatory for serious students…read morewho love dance, there are several troubling aspects that I don't reflect back on fondly: - No water bottles were allowed inside the studio. This may have been to protect the floors, but water should always be available to young people doing intense exercise. - The studio has no windows and no air conditioning. - The technique students were taught forced turn out rather than working on the given flexibility of the hips. I can tell you from experience that this results in chronic knee, hip, and ankle pain (for some people). - Favoritism and bullying from the instructors wasn't unusual. Can be a nurturing environment for some, but for the students with issues or just going through the normal, lousy parts of being a teenager, this is not a kind place. - This may be true of nearly every studio, but it required an enormous amount of parent contribution. The students who fell behind or struggled were always the ones without a strong family network. The classical training from Uta and Lydia is top notch - some of my classmates have become professionals at SF Ballet, the Joffrey, and NYCB. While I can appreciate the no-nonsense, no-frills aspects of PV ballet, my mother and I look back on the experience and say, "Eh. Wouldn't do it again."

Uta is a super strict teacher but she taught me all the basics of ballet. The dance team and studio director Jami Gobee puts an enormous amount of stress on these dancers and then criticizes them when they can't handle the stress. She refused to allow any medical accommodations that were provided, and repeatedly told us that she knows more as a dancer than our surgical doctor and therefore wouldn't accept the notes!! Instead of allowing accommodations, she made punishing threats and forced my child to take all of her classes when she was injured and sick. With every request, I received a cold and rigid response like the one copied from the other reviewer. Jami and her dance teachers regularly humiliated and ridiculed my child for her anxiety when they were the root cause of that anxiety, and told her that her dancing was getting worse (I wonder why....). Anxiety increased exponentially during her time at Fusion, and dropped almost instantly once we left. Jami told the entire dance team not to talk to us when we left, which speaks volumes to her character. They are all afraid of this woman. I would love to say that this is a good studio, but Jami creates an unhealthy environment for youth that I would not recommend to anyone. So unfortunate and so misguided.

That's what makes a dancer, being able to create all that energy and harness it. That resonates with me and I appreciate it. Granted I am bay FAR the oldest in the class, but personally I don't mind it. I find it both nostalgic and inspiring. Overall great studio, and I can see in the girls the fabulous technique they have. Beautiful dancers, and Chelsea is a great teacher!

But I think if potential customers have a choice to pick a teacher then it's in their best interest to know what happened with my daughters former teacher. I am copying and pasting some from my original email to the owner as it's a real time (back then) depiction of what happened. "This message is for the owner. This is ashley and my daughter hazel is enrolled in the cotton candy 2-5year old Saturday class. During today's class, midway through, miss Jennifer picked up my daughter and brought her to the lobby where she ushered her to me exclaiming "I can't do this anymore." I have many thoughts I want to express and I'll do my best to do so in an efficient but clear manner. Of course, her being two years old, she doesn't listen too well just yet but she certainly has a great time at these classes regardless. She doesn't hit any one, bite any one, scream or kick but she does play well with others and especially likes [Another students] company. Her and [student] had a great time today playing in class and I do acknowledge that hazel can be a distraction at times but again she is only 2 and at this age I imagine the classes essential purpose is for fun right now. I felt miss Jennifer kicking hazel out of class was unwarranted. There are more constructive ways of handling these type of things and getting flustered and making one girl leave in this manner (although both girls were having fun) felt targeted. Besides [student] and hazel, the other two girls were still dancing and participating so I'm not sure why it got blown out of proportion like this. I feel disappointed in how the situation was handled entirely. Hazel taking direction is a work in progress and sometimes she has good days and not so good days; but again she is just 2 years old. If the expectation is that the children must follow direction at all times then 2 year olds probably shouldn't be invited to dance. We have come pretty steady to all classes since enrolling, dressed up for the Halloween party, brought snacks and drinks; brought a friend to bring-a-friend to dance week (who ended up enrolling); pretty much we have tried our best to participate And i feel we were treated unfairly and swiftly. At this time do please cancel my daughters enrollment and discontinue further payment. I'm happy to speak with you further if you'd like to call me." The owner seemed sincere in her apology and suggested hazel take a class with a different teacher but I didn't feel comfortable bringing her back there. In fact I found out later from my friend whose girl danced in that class, the teacher Jennifer made it a point to praise the remaining students for listening at the end of class and it was extremely obnoxious.
