Great place for a group to gather, let loose and have fun. We rented a large room and it was stocked with 4 mics, 2 oscillating fans (very important and unfortunately didn't notice them until after an hour of dancing and singing fun) 1 tambourine, 1 disco ball and 1 remote to control the fun. The staff was so friendly and everyone was willing to take an order if we snuck out to get another drink during a song. Everyone that we encountered was smiling and sometimes even singing along when bringing our food and drink. The food was yummy! I do wish there were larger plates to share. I understand that the plates are meant to be bought individually but having a large portion option would be great if people wanted to buy enough to share! We will return. It's been more than a hot minute since I have been to BBK, but I am remiss in not leaving a review. There's a group of five girls that celebrate birthdays together, and a few enjoy singing. So we took our birthday party to BBK, where we had good munchies, solid drinks, and a huge variety of karaoke to choose from with their fantastic online system. Service was good, checking in without interrupting, and they accommodated our request to bring in our own birthday cake for after the meal. Great place to have drinks and sing karaoke in a private room. But they stop serving food so early at 10pm! And the waitress kept peeking into our room and interrupting songs every 15 mins or so. If you want to know why, and why my opinion on Karaoke places should hold weight, then read on. My Wife and I (and by extension many of our friends) are absolute Karaoke sluts. So color me shocked when we visit a sleepy little town in Arkansas of all places and find a karaoke joint that puts 99% of all other karaoke joints to shame. Really wanted to like this place. I love seeing new businesses that are unique to the area, and especially ones that are contributing to the revitalization of Block Street. However, I was wholly unimpressed. The food left much to be desired. I ordered the pork belly ban mi, and the pork belly was extremely chewy, almost as if it was raw. The cook in the kitchen seemed almost annoyed that I had placed an order, even though the restaurant was open for another 2 hours! The bartender (justin?) seemed unsure how to make the simple drinks I requested (old fashioned, moscow mule) and the cocktail I ordered from the menu (soul mule) tasted like sugar water and lime juice. The atmosphere was super weird too. All the people in the private rooms were yelling and falling all over themselves when they came out of the rooms. It was strange to witness and made me uncomfortable. I hope these people turn this business into the super cool and successful place it could be. read more

The concept of private karaoke is new to Fayetteville and will be around for a long time to come based off what I saw going on at Big Box. Brings me back to some of my best karaoke experiences from when I lived in Japan! The sound quality in the rooms is epic, and the online song reservation system is top notch. The food is far better than you would expect from a karaoke joint; try the pickled green beans and the char sui banh mi for a very high quality snacking experience. The cocktails are also above average compared to what I normally see in Vegas; the Mango #5 and Lavender French 75 were my favorites (I may have had too many cocktails on my visit). We went to Big Box for a bachelorette party and it was the most fun experience! When you get into your room, you have so many songs to choose from. There's even different themes you can choose and put the songs in whatever order you want. Our waitress was so timely and attentive. She kept our drinks full and food was fast, as well as delicious. My friends said they were told it's about $10 person and the more people, the cheaper, but was never told we need to have more than 8 people for that to happen. We all left very disappointed. This place is a lot of fun. Their drink prices aren't bad at all, and it's relatively inexpensive to get in. The food tastes good - we intentionally went on a Wednesday night for the $5 soba noodles, which were good but the portion sizes were a little small. My only real complaint is that we paid as a group, so divided up the itemized receipt among ourselves at home, and were charged for a few extra drinks than what we actually had. Our party was a big group, and we were there from 7:45-9:45 pretty close to right when they opened, so I can imagine it was a lot of people to handle at once and an accident when finishing up the tab at the end, and we didn't notice the extra charges until we got home. Let me start with saying this place is so much fun. We had a large group and everyone had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and they gave us a group discount. The only issue were the drinks. My first drink was a margarita that was served in a rocks glass that was maybe 3 fingers full. My friend thought it was a shot. As it was my first time there I thought maybe that's just the way they do things, however my 2nd drink was a normal full glass. As the night went on the drinks went down hill. There was no consistency and the cocktails never tasted the same, some of them were not drinkable and we had to return them.
