I called with a simple question, and the girl who answered the phone was immediately rude, snappy, and completely unprofessional. Her tone alone was so off-putting that it genuinely made me rethink coming in at all. Game days are busy, sure I get that. But that's even more reason to have someone representing your business who knows how to speak to customers without attitude. I had a cheeseburger with lettuce tomato and ketchup and Mao. It was a thin frozen patty. No one asked how I wanted it cooked because it was frozen. My wife had chicken finger which had zero flavor. The fries were damp cold and again flavorless. The food was just plain and low quality. Walked to have dinner while staying at the Inn at Carnall Hall. Was a nice little walk into the area. The staff are very friendly and it's a lively crowd, even outside of school season. I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of food especially with the size of our party. The fried pickles are hands down the best I have had anywhere, love that they are the pickle chips. The fries I will dream about, they are fresh and extra crispy. My taco salad (chicken sub instead of beef) was incredible with the fresh crispy shell. Came here for the first time and came back the week after. Needless to say, it was pretty good. Service was as expected, our waitresses have been kind, quick and helpful. I believe that this place is great for any time of the day. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. Let me start the food review by saying, the frozen margaritas are SO good. They have many flavors but my personal favorites are the peach and strawberry. The nachos even though they're a huge appetizer, were very good. The Catfish Nuggets were everything I wanted (SO good). The Ranch Chicken Clubhouse was delicious (try it with avocado). The Regular Little Salad is honestly not that little, which is great. The Bacon Burger was SO good. I realized I prefer the onion rings over the fries, you can tell they're battered before they're fried. Lastly, on the JJ's Chicken Wrap we substituted the shredded cheese for queso (for no up-charge) and added avocado, which also turned out great. : Overall the food, so far, has been really good and the drinks are great. I came here a year ago and had a great meal and great service. This is a little bit different location and it was average at best. The fries were soggy and cold. They came back with a tray that was soggy and hot. I only got one drink the whole time I was there and it took her 20 minutes to serve the first one. There won't be a third visit. read more

The only reason this place gets three stars is because of Tori the bartender. She was awesome and took great care of me even though the kitchen and manager didn't want to. Ordered the Edwin style wings which means they are drenched in buffalo sauce and then refried so you don't get them all over your hands. What was delivered were naked wings. When I brought it to their attention they sent out a tiny cup of buffalo sauce for me to dip them in. When I pointed out that I wanted the Edwin style and asked them to remake them the day-cook immediately dumped all the buffalo sauce on the naked wings and sent them back out to me. Message to day-cook; If you hate your job you should quit buddy...... Poor Tori for having to work in this dump hole. and if it's just that this one cook is a cock-faced dipshit, I hope they can replace him with someone with some degree of integrity and talent. I visit JJ's on Dickson whenever I'm in Fayetteville for work. I come up from Austin TX. This time when there it was a little cool outside so I thought I'd get the Cheesy Chicken Tortilla soup. It was a huge mistake. I guess I'm spoiled by what I get in TX. This was more like luke warm Rotel dip with a glob on chicken on top. I think there was some sour cream too. It was awful. I couldn't eat it. It was served with 2 pkgs of stale saltine crackers. I didn't say anything because the servers are so nice. I just sort of played with it. It was too cold and thick to even stir. You can't go wrong with JJs. They have branched out & have a location in just about every city that comprises NW Arkansas. It's a sports bar with good bar food. I like their happy hour (they have happy minutes too: $1 domestic drafts for 20 min at a time). I also love the "flip for your burger" during football season (before the game [NFL] starts, you call heads or tails & if you win, your burger is free). Extensive menu with something for everyone.
