We were able to order promptly with little wait. It's an industrial type interior and the dining room needed to be cleaned in some areas. The pepperoni rolls were very good. I ordered light sauce on my pizza but evidently my idea of light sauce and their idea varies. read more

Visited Somerset for the annual Kentucky Baptist Convention mtg. Stopped by Big City Pizza for lunch and was surprised by this cool establishment. I ordered the State of Liberty Cheesesticks and a hand tossed New York Style pizza. The BEST cheesesticks I have had anywhere in Kentucky. I recommend this place to all who travel through Somerset, KY. read more

We've ordered from this business many times, but tonight will be the last. Previous pizzas have been hot & delicious. After being told it would be delivered in 45 minutes to an hour, nothing. When I called to check on the order, I was told the pizza was ready but no one there to deliver! 25 minutes later a pizza is delivered to our door. They only had 1 driver tonight. Message to the manager - if you can't provide timely service & deliveries, don't take the orders! The pizza was as expected...lukewarm. I thought the pizza was good when we stopped in but I certainly wasn't impressed with the staff. One out of three working seemed to know how to take an order. I understanding staff is always a issue. The place was very crowed with almost no where to sit, a lot of people waiting on to go orders and line was slow moving. I hope in the future they get a better system of handling orders. The arcade area probably needs to be rethought of if it more beneficial with it to without it. You can not have a staff of 10 people when only 3 of them are actually working. Staffing aside, if you don't mind the wait, and being stack one on top of each other, try the Tipsy Chicken with bourbon glaze or the Beer cheese. Beer cheese is delicious! What's important to me is the restrooms were super clean! Overall staffing issues ruined a other wise good place. Hope that improves in the future, while I understand that COVID has killed the selection of good employees, but 1 employee can do a lot of negative damage, but 3-4 is unacceptable. read more

Pick up is never on time. Always extended wait. Using "employees" from the local drug rehab facility may not be the best idea. Having a blank stare and unengaged staff isn't awesome. read more

We went later in the evening, ordered the pretzel bites, the Bronx, and the tipsy chicken. Pretzel bites were smaller then expected and the Bronx was your standard meats pizza, that tipsy chicken though, I will definitely be back several time for that one pizza alone! I look forward to trying more of their creations. Staff was friendly and helpful, place had a good vibe too. Best advice to anyone dining in somerset. Never go the opening month. This place has no customer service. We waited forever for our food. One member of our party didn't have her pizza order after an hour wait. When she could finally get someone's attention she requested a refund. They went to the kitchen and miraculously returned with her order. They did give her a refund though. The tables were sticky and very rickety. When I went to get my fountain drink I noticed how dirty everything was. I won't be going back there or recommending this restaurant. the chicken afredo taste like a frozen dinner would, tasteless and watery. I would expect an establishment like this to make it homemade. the chicken looked canned and the alfredo sauce is flavorlesa and watery. completely let down by myself and my son. $20 down the drain on them. read more

After a long beautiful day on the boat on Lake Cumberland, our family was hungry for pizza. Having never been to the area, we weren't sure where to order from, but wanted to support a local pizza place. Despite only 1 review (and not a great one at that) we chose Big City Pizza. We ordered a large cheese, large veggie and an order of pretzel knots w/ beer cheese. Yum! The pizza was delicious - love the sauce. Beer cheese was yummy too. They had our food ready ahead of promised pick up time and they brought it out to our car. We aren't from this area, but if we make it back to the Cumberland area, we will return! Do you like raw pizza dough? Canned spaghetti sauce? The whole container of oregano in the canned sauce? Place is offensive to every NYC neighborhood they abuse to try to sell their undercooked excuse for pizza. Only thing nice I can say is that they let Philadelphia's jawn alone. Bless. read more

I wanted this establishment to be a hit, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The NY pizza was under cooked, it was a huge doughy greasy mess. It is far from being New York pizza. Wings should be reconsidered on how they are prepared. Hardly sauced. To bad, I hope this review helps Big City to address their quality. read more

My wife and I ate there today. We ordered a New York handtossed pizza 14 inch and an order of fries. It came to $24 and change. The pizza was small and I don't think was anything close to 14inches. However it didn't even come close to New York pizza where I grew up but it still beat every pizza in somerset. However the fries were good but for $2.99 it's not worth it. They gave me a small container of about 12 fries. read more
