We have always goten carry out from here during COVID, and never had a sit down meal. I have to say,it was much better that I expected baased on several of the local reviews. We went with the Marley pizza, a combination of Jerk chicken and Italian Sasuage. The Honey Sriracha wings were amazing. The Beer Cheese is always great but I really love the Spicy Beer Cheese. 2/28/26: Me and my hubby stopped in Mellow Mushroom run Somerset Ky. Just want say I never seen such hospitality . The staff all of them are nice and met all customers needs. And the food was awsome. Our pizzas were so good we forgot to snap a picture. 2 kids split a small, half pepperoni which was 2 slices a piece. 3 adults split a large Super Pep pizza and we had a piece left over. We recommend ordering it as it comes. The peppers created a great flavor. We also ate during happy hour and enjoyed 1/2 price margaritas. That atmosphere is always nice and relaxed. The food is always consistently good and comes out hot. Our servers have always been well trained and very attentive. If you are in a hurry though, just calm down and prepare to wait. It will be worth it if you are dining in. If there is one complaint, it comes with ordering online. This is something we have had trouble with in regards to the amount of time it takes to get our order and the correct order being given to us when it is finally done. The last time we ordered online, I had to wait for an extra hour to get my order after being given the wrong order. The young man at the register told me he made a note and would have a manager refund me my money. That never happened. So pay attention and be patient when ordering online. read more

You can go back to cooking pizza like you used to. I mean, this was so paper thin, it was ridiculous. The ingredients were sparse! The waitress was there by herself and she was good! She said there were three new people being trained in the back! I've noticed over the past two years that your wait staff is not always the same! Maybe it's the manager you need to let go. Loved my Pizza. We also had spinage/artichoke dip, and other meals at the table ...our first time there, but it will not be our last. Loved the design, it was inviting. Waitress Michelle was awesome, she was a positive ray of sunshine. She gave us the background of the restraunt, suggestions on food choices, jokes and was very pleasant, but not over the top. We ordered the "made to order calzones ". Hot, fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and the decor was lovely.

This was our first visit to Mellow Mushroom after moving to the area and we were very pleased. They offer a GF build your own pizza which was delicious but next time we might ask them to keep it in the oven a little longer for a more crispy crust like we prefer. Had dinner here tonight for the first time and the pizza here is fabulous and all the flavors amazing! Our waitress was Michelle who is extremely attentive and caring. We think it should be renamed as golden mushroom, as we definitely recommend the "golden mushroom", And we'll be back and share it with all our friends and family! Yes, it may take a bit wait to get your food but what you get is absolutely fresh with fabulous flavor. The pizza crust is tasty and wonderful, the fun kind you reheat with garlic butter. Visited Somerset on a recent 4 day trip and decided to eat here on a Sunday afternoon to watch the football games. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away by Sam the bartender. Sam is awesome! He's super friendly and genuinely seems to like his job! It was Happy Hour, so we enjoyed some bourbons, and had two of the best pizzas ever! I had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and my husband had the Holy Shiitake Pizza. I highly recommend them if your looking for great pizza, great happy hour and great staff! Keep up the good work Sam! I've been to a mellow mushroom in VA, and it was amazing so we decided to come here and try it out. I looked at pictures on yelp and it looked good but when I got my pizza it looked like a cheap 5$ pizza. Look at the toppings the cheese, And this was 24$. Flavor of the Wings were pretty good. After a long day on the road with 2 starving teens in the back seat withering away to nothing we were lookin for a local (not a chain) place to eat. We caught this place out of the corner of our eye as we drove the main road looking. After scouting out the area we drove back to the Mellow Mushroom to check the place out. I'm glad we did as the place looked lively inside and the atmosphere was friendly. After being seated at our table we were greeted by Jasmine our server. Her personality made us feel like we were old friends. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Pretzel Bites and Cheese Bread. The pretzel bites came with a dip that was good enough to eat with a spoon by itself. Jasmine was patient and answered all our questions regarding the choices on the menu. I had the steak and cheese calzone which was great tasting also supplied me with 1/2 of it to savor at a later date. My wife had the Pizzaiola Burger minus the garlic aioli (she's a picky eater). The two teens had ordered pizza to feast on and looked great and they said it tasted great. The teens also had the Time for a Sunday with the Cookie which looked as good as it tasted. There was a kitchen screw up though. I really hate to have to add this part in but our pizza was made but for some reason never made it to the oven. The place upsized the pizza for the error. This would normally cause the loss of stars but because of Jasmine and her attentiveness the place gets them back. The magic mushroom soup sounds inviting so the next time in town I'll try that. Clean, friendly staff and good food. Our server Michelle was great. She was super busy, but very nice and attentive to our needs. Like most places they were short staffed but, she had a great attitude and did her best. She made great recommendations on what to order and everything we tried was delicious.
