Well you could make it cleaner it really needs that than maybe limit the amount of salespeople that come in and sometimes sell things in an unsanitary way and last is just people on "substances" are always coming in and asking for money so it would be good to kick them out. read more

They have $4, $5, $6 & $9 washers. Dry is no longer free from what I've read from the reviews . They have upped the drying time to .25 for 20 mins it was 10mins the last time I came . There's lot of space and plenty of machines. Snack and drink machine and massage chairs (2) . Only thing is some of the machine smelled of mold and or were dirty. Some of The machine you could also see mold where you put your fabric softener. So plz check the machines before you put your soap and money in. Some were out of order but plenty left to choose from I will be back being or close to my house and I don't have to park on the street off pay for parking. read more

Chris, the newer employee at this establishment, put his hands on me today. He neglected to resolve an issue with the dryers not working at full capacity despite being on Hi Temp. I stated my clothes were still damp, to which he said i was wrong. He then asked another customer if they'd like to touch my clothes to prove he was correct. The original ask was that he give me a couple quarters to move my clothing to another machine, but in which he kept insisting they were dry. Along with being dismissive, he told me to calm down and if i'm having a bad day or a bad life, not to take it out on him. I then asked for his name and the owner's phone number, both he denied to give me. I took a photo of the number on the service window and a photo of him, to which he reached at my hands and phone to take it. Police were called and a report file against him. I've never had an issue in the 4 years i've been coming here, but Chris's attitude, disrespect towards employees, and behavior is appalling. read more

The owners of this place are super welcoming and nice. Especially the lady. It does get busy but what do you expect for a great place to do your laundry? And their music playlist is always on point. Have been coming to this laundromat for a few years, I used to love this place, it was always clean and reliable. The past couple of months every time I come, quite a few machines are broken and the place is pretty dirty. This is the second time a machine stops working a few minutes after I start washing and the las time even though it took almost 15 minutes to get help, the lady was very nice. Today the same thing happened again and with 24 minutes left in my wash, the washer stopped moving. I let the attendant who was here on 11/26/23 around 7pm know and she not only made it seem like the machine wasn't broken and I just needed to wait, after 5 minutes we let her know it still wasn't working and she told me once the timer was up, she could reimburse me my money and not before. So I wanted 24 minutes in total just to have to switch my washer to another one and wait another half hour for my load to wash. I know the last time they were able to resolve my issue as soon as it was acknowledged and I feel like there was no respect or regard for my time this time around. Great laundry. This laundry has open wifi. Bathrooms. Vending machine. Cheapest wash is 4 dollars for about 1 medium basket. also has washers big enough for everything you got. The dryers are 1 quarter for twenty/thirty minutes, but they also have free dryers if you are willing to wait your turn. Always someone on staff willing to help you. When not in pandemic mode, has those mall massage chairs that give full massages for a dollar or two. For just a dollar or two, you can get a massage while you wait for your clothes. read more

Lmao I been reading all the comments and they are all true. Specially the staff from the night shift. I usually come around 3-4am. Is less people so I avoid all the noise or kids running around. I mean people is a laundromat obviously there will be kids. Any who, I was going to talk to the owner but it seems he doesn't care after everything I read. This place is trash. The larger washing machines are always broken. There are no visible signs that a machine isn't working until you load your wash and realize that they've blocked the coin slot. Drying is free, but nearly half of the dryers are broken. read more

I had been using Clothes Pin regularly when I discovered this place. It has bigger washing machines and free dryers, so I was excited. I used it once and was very satisfied. There was a young black man behind the counter who helped me figure out how the free dryer works. Their hours are great; their facilities, spotless; and they had a helpful staff. I'd found a great place to do laundry! I returned today to do another (admittedly long overdue) batch of laundry. My infant son has been sick, unfortunately, and he's been pooping through his diapers. That means I had several onesies with me that had baby poop on them. Those take a little hand washing before you can put them into the machine, lest you get baby poo on your work shirts. Naturally, $25 of laundry in tow, I figured that, at a laundromat, I could use the public sink to do a little prewashing. You know, the one most laundromats feature prominently for customer use? I had four onesies. It would take about five minute of prewashing, and then I'd be on my way. An older asian man came out of the employee booth as soon as I started and told me to stop. I explained to him what I was doing, and that I was planning on using his two biggest machines shortly and paying for them. He proceeded to tell me that his was a "water and electricity business" and they don't give that way for free. He didn't care that I was there to pay him for the use of his machines. He did care that I was using his precious water in any form other through a paid washing machine. He made a grab at the sink when I didn't immediately turn the water off and march away under his orders. He swore and yelled at me as I left with my unwashed sack of clothes and my $25. I will not return to this place, and you should avoid it too. The owner is cheap, belligerent, and pigheaded. Try using his sink sometime if you'd like to find out for yourself. I dont even live closeby but I come here for the big washers, free dryers, and big space. The people that work there are fine. They do their job and are courteous. There is parking and close to the Brown line and next to food. Theres large spaces to fold laundry, clean bathrooms, well lit common areas and lots of seating. It was 24 hours before Covid so it was my go-to. The customers are nice and follow the etiquette of being at a public laundry. I like this place read more

A great clean place to do your laundry especially after about 6 or 7 am cause a girl named Dee works there & she is very nice polite helpful & just an all-around cool cat. Who should absolutely be given a raise in salary. I've never ran into a rude employee there but have run into employees not thinking or being rude. For instance a guy was fixing broken dryers & he scooted what looked like to be light as a feather. Well like finger nail on a chalk board that's what it sounded like really hurting my friends ears. The guy was rude & laughed vs showing customer service & apologizing as he should of. Last night the guy was vacuuming out lint filters & sat the shop vac right by me so all the exhaust was hitting me. I didn't say nothing cause I'm sure he didn't mean & I moved. Now let's talk about prices. The washers range in little bitty one person washers for $3 something all the way to $12 jumbo size. They Work well. Dryers are free if you like to be pestered. However if your like me & just want to get her done then they have big jumbo dryers for .25 Two qtrs completely dry my clothes for two in 40 min. The free ones you have to keep hitting start every 10 min. What a nagger lol I nominate Dee for employee of the month. read more

This place is huge! There's always machines available and the best part is that drying is free. I like how clean it is and when I went there. Also they have nice vending options. They have Choco Pies in their vending machine. Yeah that's right, Choco Pies! I'll be back again to do the amazing task of doing laundry. read more

The washers and dryers are reasonably priced, and very well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. They help you bring your bags in and out! I really do like this laundromat, but not most of it's patrons who have no control over their children, nor do they care that other people need space for folding their clothes, and are downright inconsiderate. I wish staff members did more about telling kids not to run around and scream and climb on the tables and chairs. I bring cleaner with me to clean the tables before I fold my laundry because I have seen way too many kids stomping all over them while the parents stand by and laugh while folding their clothes. How is that sanitary? I would not recommend going there on a weeknight. It's busy, there is NO PARKING, and there are no carts for your laundry. My Fiance and I have a hell of a time (work days) on week day evenings getting laundry done, as we have had to leave and come back many days in a row because a) there wasn't anywhere to park the car b)the place was packed! I really think that this location was poorly planned, and didn't consider the amount of business it would receive. They have lost a lot of business some evenings due to the lack of accommodation (parking, carts, washers) for their customers. It seems that no matter what time of day, there is NO PARKING. Unfortunately, I will continue to battle to use this place, and hoping the owners read this and realize there are problems. read more

The worst part after long week of work is laundry. As i am tired from work this laundry mat provides carts outside available to help load you laundry inside. I enjoy coming to get this place for my laundry service. The attendant Lisa is very helpful and curtious with everyone. She always explains the new raffle tickets perfectly. Mr kim even has massage chairs as we wait for our clothes. They play music as we are folding . That makes my experience seem much faster and my laundry gets done in a fun way. Have I mentioned free dry as well.. I recommend to come wash your clothes here and you wont regret it . read more

The first time the machine ate my quarters the latina lady on duty replace them which was no bother, Sunday 5-21-2017 it happen again so I went to the chinese man who I think is the owner and right away accused me of trying to come up on a quarter I said what! really! dude your machines are free I pay so that I don't have to keep coming back and pressing the button for 12 min. never will come back service is not good. read more

This place is big and always has washers and dryers available. Reasonable prices but What I didn't like about the place is their was mice running around. I was super pumped when Big Coin Landry opened up less than a block from my house. I thought - Score! A nice shiny clean coin laundry! I don't have to venture to the gross scary laundry room in my building with the rickety super old washers! But, Big Coin Laundry isn't all I was hoping for. First, they do washers by lbs. 20 lb machines, 40 lb machines, 60 lb machines, and 80 lb machines. This was new to me, and there is no scale to help you figure out which size to use. And the 20 lb machine is pretty freakin' small - I don't know if it could really wash 20 lbs of clothes. It couldn't handle a full-size comforter. All the machines are roughly $1 per lb, but drop off service is .75 cents a lb. So drop off seems to be the better service compared to doing it yourself, though I haven't tried it out yet. Drying is free, so that's nice, especially since washing is so expensive. There are always several TVs BLARING - half on Telemundo and half on an English speaking random channel - last time is was an infomercial channel. And there are ALWAYS tons of children running around screaming. Overall, it's convenient when I have to wash large things - but otherwise, I am not stepping foot in this place unless I have to. I wish Bubbleland was closer. :( read more

When our washer/dryer gave out, I gave Big Coin Laundry a try. Wow, prices for washing your clothes must have really gone up since I graduated college 15 years ago. Nonetheless, the free drying was a new concept for me and definitely helped offset the price. Though, the machines I had were kind of weak and it did seem like it took a while to dry a pretty small load. Later that week I tried the drop off service. Wow! I could definitely get used to having someone else wash and fold all of my clothes for me. It didn't even seem all that expensive. But definitely not something I could afford all the time. One thing I learned since going, they have this really inexpensive Massage Chair. Damn, was that a treat on my lower lumbars. We since replaced our Washer/Dryer, but I may return just for a massage. It was life changing. Knocking two stars off because the parking lot is always too crowded and they still use coins vs. cards that you fill up with money. read more

Big Coin is CLEAN and there are enough wheeled carts so no one gets into a fight. The folding area is ample and the chairs are close to the window so you get light to read. I brought a huge comforter there about 10 am and I was one of only ten people there. I used the 40-lb machine for the comforter and that worked well. Dryer worked well on all three heat settings and was free. Decent sized parking lot, too. read more

I like the place overall. When screaming children are not darting and circling around your feet and your not being hovered over for your dryer, its nice. I'm figuring out the key time to go. Went there in the morning at 5:30, nice and empty but why did this man have to squeeze up to my section of dryers when there were 100 other dryers available? Although this laundromat is always crowded, it is also very clean! I had no problems doing my massive amount of laundry here while it was full of other people. I use laundromats frequently and chose to do my laundry late one night and this was the perfect place to go! I would recommend this to anyone! read more

bigcoin laundry has been going downhill its machines no longer up to like they where before they say there dryers are free but there not no more big dryers are now getting charged and soon all will be 25, you cant no longer wash alot of stuff they had put new rules of what can and cant wash. they stop your dryers if you dnt put enough cloths in to dry and to wash they tell you to wash or put in less cloths then the washer is capabal of doing. only one thing goin for themis the friendliest and nicest worker there belive his name is ever he trys to make evryone comfy with the new rules, gets along with all customers from what i see and here and fisrt employee i see that kids listin to.. besides that thisplace is no longer the coin loundry matt it wasonce before.. read more

I my sister experienced the worst situation in this place. My 5yr old child and I were here just today and the owner approached us in an inappropriate manner. He argued with me that I need to learn how to save gas. My dryers were clearly over ten items or more He wanted me to compress all my clothes together.. I responded well it looks like you should start charging for dryers if you feel that your gas bill is to high. He said those are my rules if you don't like it well don't fucken come here. In front of my child. I then told him your not gonna be talking like that in front of my kid. I called the police. Police get there and then tell me he could"t make a report because it wasn't physical. The police starts to drive off. Could you believe this man returns with the laundry cart to then try and remove my clothes from the dryer because they were his dryers. I then run out the establishment and flag down the cop. Cop then returns with me because now there"s aggression. To make a long story short the cop supervised me as I stuffed my clothes back in the laundry bag half dried because this man clearly wanted me to beat him the fuck up for getting out of pocket with me... I maintained my motherly attitude in front of my kid. I was so embarrassed and I will never ever in my life return here again. read more

I'm a regular customer of this Landry's ,and it happened that I was using six machines and I got one sock stock to the door of one of them ,I asked the manager to let me open it and put the sock back and fix it ,he said no we have to turn off the machine and he did turn it off , when he turned it on backhe said that I have to pay again and I happened that I just turned it on for five minutes,he was rude impolite nonprofessional. Big coin laundry owner is very rude, he cheats you out of your money, he refuses to take responsibility when a machine stop working in the middle of a wash and you are force to move your cloth to another machine and pay again.
