This place is really horrible and racist if you are black don't wash your clothes here find somewhere else to do your laundry, I was doing laundry today and one of the Mexican ladies stole my laundry soap I went to the front to ask if I could see the surveillance the lady at the desk said no it was clear everyone saw this lady steal my soap I asked her do you have the receipt she said no and I have my receipt now I have to take someone else's soap because I'm leaving here with something I don't give a fuck. Nice and clean. New equipment. Good hours. Only give one star off because you can't dry in increments under 30 mins, so it probably costs slightly more than the older kind of machines where you would pay in 10 min increments or so. 10/04/14 -- Opening Attendant. I finished washing at 8am. Not the first issue with attendants at this location. Today. I washed three loads of clothes. Desired temps; one at Normal/Hot, two at Normal/Cold. Two of the three washers changed temps when I pressed start. Brought it to the attendants attention. At first I was unsure whether she understood me, so I asked "comprende?" To which she nodded. But as the conversation continued and she proceeded to tell me that a $.25 washes clothes for 6 more mins. I was sure that was not the case. I asked for manager or phone number, to which I got the blank stare. Then, I got the "I don't know." So I tried my H.S. spanish. "Da me el numero llamar para mi problema" Again I got "I don't know." Previous visits to this same location have been met with the same attitude that appear to be disinterest in anyone who does not speak the language by another who I encountered during the weekday in the evenings. Spincycle needs to provide attendants who are capable of assisting more than just ONE nationality/culture, because we ALL wash at SpinCycle and expect proper service to an issue. Even if the attendant is unable to do anything, provide the contact information that allows an individual to attempt to reach out to the corporation with their complaint. read more

A good laundromat is hard to find. This is one. The prices are reasonable, the facility is sparkling clean, the machines are new and the customers are pleasant. There are plenty of carts. If a machine is out of order, it is clearly marked. There's an attendant on site who busts her butt keeping the place clean. There's even a videogame for the kids (or adults) and 3 vending machines. There are several TVs and they are tuned to different shows, so you actually have a choice of what to watch, and the place is big enough that you can hear your particular show fairly well. Whoever the proprietor is, she takes pride in running a clean place. (And has quite the green thumb: those magnificent orange geraniums had me in awe!) There's a Walgreens right across Granville, so you can pop over for some snacks while you wait, or to do a bit of shopping. I would mention that last night when we were checking the hours it said that the place closed at midnight on Saturday, so if you are a late night laundry person, you might want to call and check the hours first. read more

While big, clean, & well-ventilated, I had a pretty awful experience today. Apparently, the culture here is to push & shove your way around--I'm a big advocate of a simple "Excuse me." Gets the job done & leaves the rudeness out of it. Someone also apparently opened my dryer & then shut it without resuming the cycle. Right at the beginning, too. So when I came back for it, there were 9 mins left on the timer, it wasn't spinning, & all the clothes were sopping wet. Either someone opened it, or the dryer is broken and has no sign. Whichever the reason, it doesn't warrant a positive review in my book...and $~1.50 down the drain isn't too cool either. Lastly, the dryer that I used for my other load shrunk my clothes. Fair warning: they're *powerful*. Won't be coming back. (Not that I'm a regular--my dryer at home broke this week. But should I ever need to launder out of the house again, this won't be the place.) read more

Normally I would not give a business a bad review unless they did something terribly wrong, which in the case of a laundromat is pretty difficult to do. However, tonight was the SECOND time that I have been denied even though I showed up well in advance of closing time. The sign on the door says that they close at 11 p.m., which I understand means that you have to be there well before 11 so as to have your wash done by the time they close, or before. However, the posted hours seem to only apply if the entire laundromat is packed full of people. I showed up at 9:30, and was told that the laundromat is closed because "there's no more people", to which I replied with a smile "the sign on the door says 11 p.m., it's only 9:30 now, I can be done with my laundry before 10:30, I promise" she then repeated that they were closed. At that point I realized that I wasn't going to win, and asked if I could at least get change so that I could do my laundry at home. She reluntantly agreed. I thought that was kind of her considering that it's generally against the rules to use their change machines unless you're doing your laundry there. For that, I would have actually given this place a good review... EXCEPT... as I started to walk away in the direction of the change machine I heard her say "I can't believe some people" (In Spanish) to the last remaining patron who was just finishing up his folding. She probably assumed that a blond-haired white girl would not understand what she had said, but that is absolutely irrelevant. Her view of the patrons makes me not want to go back there, ever. It was rude, and uncalled for. If I had been rude or condescending towards her, I wouldn't be the least bit upset with her retort, but I was actually very kind to her, and thanked her. And, don't get me wrong, I understand that it was late, on a Friday night, and she probably just wanted to get home, but that doesn't excuse bad mouthing a customer right in front of their face, likely in hopes that they would not understand you. read more

Seems like they stole my stuff and is vey unorganized staff they have at spin cycle I will definitely not recommend This laundrymat to no one . A good clean facility that doesn't get over crowded. They are open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday nights which although makes me sound like a total loser but sometimes I like to get my laundry done late at night. The prices are OK, I use the huge washer that holds up to 5 loads and it's $4.75 which is not to bad since I can usually get all my laundry done in one go. The parking lot is a bonus. read more

It was almost empty when I came which was such a relief. Overall, the place is decently clean.The only employee on site was helpful, not friendly. I guess being friendly was not a job requirement. She helped me change my $20 to two $10s which was great as the machine does not give change. The two tvs were set to Spanish stations which I took as an opportunity to spruce up my spanish. I used the Mega load which cost $5.50, to wash two comforters and I intend to use the big Dexter dryer to dry them. They also have two seating areas and vending machines. read more

Awfull!! Did 3 loads, payed $4 per load to wash, and in the end one of the machines didn't wash my clothes at all. Opened the door, they're were soaked and covered in soap. I called the old lady that works there and she just looked at me like I did something wrong!! and said to move them to another machine. I didn't really have a choice since there were bed covers really heavy and completely soaked... This experience ruined my weekend!! The lady is rude, doesn't speak English and totally disrespectful! This laundromat is very very clean!! I went to the spincycle on Clark and it was very gross and dirty inside. I then went to this location, hoping it would be better and it was! There are tons of different sized machines. I should have looked at all of the machines before doing my laundry in a one load machine and a three load machine, oops! Now I know there's a four load washer too! Single to five load machines, tons of dryers in different sizes. The dryers aren't free but you don't have to get one of those cards that you have to pay for before you can even load money! read more

The old asian women behind the counter is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I recently dropped off laundry which cost $22.50, I paid with $30.00. The women behind the counter gave me $2.50 back, when I asked about my remaining change she looked at me and rudely said "tip". I have no problem tipping for quality and friendly service, which you will find neither here, but to choose your own tip is absurd! To make matters worse several items of clothing were NOT folded and just stuffed into the bag. I will never use this establishment again. read more

I parked by petco today since I had to make a trip to the pet store and I needed to do laundry. I went in first to make sure there was a coin machine to exchange my quarters. The little worker there asked if I was gonna do laundry I politely told her "yes" and that my clothes was in the car. She gave me a stink eye the entire time I was changing coins. I then preceded to walk out to go grab my clothes and detergent. She follows me out of the store questions why I parked by the pet store and she also didn't believe that the Nissan Rogue was my car. She told me to give the quarters back which I happily did. I got my 10$ back walked out hopped in my car and drove right in front of the laundry mat. Shocked she looks at me and waved back to come in. I laughed and shook my head and drove off. Yeah right, the way I was treated my first time there I'll never go here in my life again. I'll also tell my friends and family not to give this place any business. She was rude and kept talking shit while giving me my money back. Maybe you guys should hire someone else.
